------------ 'La présente invention est relative à un nouveau dispo- sitif de fermeture pour pots, boîtes, cylindres et analogues en carton, papier parcheminé, papier sulfurisé, papier paraf- finé et autre matière analogue appropriée, destinés à recevoir des produits alimentaires, produits pharmaceutiques et autres.
Les récipients de ce genre, actuellement en usage dans différentes branches du commerce sont fermés par collage, agrafage d'un cercle de carton ou encore par simple pose d'un couvercle qui joue sur le récipient et se détache facilement, lors de différents maniements.
La pratique a démontré que ces modes de fermeture sont peu pratiques pour le consommateur, puisque dès que le réci- pient a été ouvert il n'existe pratiquement plus de couvercle bien adhérent, ce qui, sous plusieurs rapports, est anti- hygiénique.
De plus, ces genres de fermetures connues nécessitent des opérations complémentaires, longues et très onéreuses pour le scellement, ce qui grève inutilement les frais d'emballage.

Le dispositif de fermeture suivant l'invention est ca- ractérisé par un bourrelet formé par le prolongement vers l'intérieur du rebord du couvercle, de manière à permettre un passage élastique du bord renforcé du récipient pour opé- rer ainsi une bonne adhésion du couvercle sur le dit réci- pient. Le bourrelet du récipient peut être formé par son bord supérieur replié adéquatement vers l'extérieur, alors que le bourrelet formé par le rebord du couvercle est venu par pliage vers l'intérieur du rebord du couvercle.
Le fond du couvercle est constitué d'un tore formé par pliage vers l'intérieur du bord supérieur d'un cylindre con- tre lequel prend appui un disque venu ainsi que le cylindre d'une matière appropriée.
Le dessin annexé représente schématiquement et à titre d'exemple nullement limitatif, un mode d'exécution suivant l'objet de la présente invention.
