binaison with lids, caps, stoppers or the like of jars, jars, bottles or other containers to ensure tightness on closure, are obtained by injection of a plastic material, such as in particular polythene.

Since the seal is insufficiently ensured by bearing the seal on the top of the neck, some seals have a broken part in their center which penetrates inside the neck and theoretically comes to rest against the internal wall of the neck through its periphery. this. In reality, the latter constitute an improvement over the former, but do not however ensure a perfect seal, and this because their broken central part only imperfectly comes to rest against the internal wall of the neck,
In order to remedy this drawback, the object of the present invention is an improvement which, given to the latter type of seal for jars, jars, bottles or other receptacles, makes it possible to obtain a perfect seal when closed.

For this purpose, the seal is provided, on its upper face, near the periphery of its knocked out central part, with a circular neck of height somewhat greater than that of the seal itself.

According to an alternative embodiment of this seal, the same deformation of the seal applying it against the internal wall of the neck is obtained by transferring its bottom to the top of the neck thereof.

The attached schematic drawing shows, by way of example, two embodiments of this seal intended to ensure the tightness of a closure

<EMI ID = 3.1> Figures 1 and 2 show a joint respectively in vertigo section - the following 1-1 of figure 2 and in plan from above. Figures 3 to 5 are vertical sections showing it at different stages of closing a jar. Figures 6 and 7 are views of a variant of this seal respectively in section along 6-6 of Figure 7, and in plan from above. Figures 8 and 9 are vertical sections showing it respectively before and after fixation by a capsule. Figures 10 and 11 are vertical sections showing an alternative embodiment before and after the installation on a bottle neck.

According to the invention, the seal (Figures 1 to 5) made of polythene or other plastic material and obtained by injection or compression, comprises, in its center, a knocked-out part 2 of diameter such that it engages exactly.

<EMI ID = 4.1>

This neck 2 has the effect, when the bottom of the cover 6 rests on it, to cause, as shown in Figure 4, the depression of the seal itself in the neck .2. of the jar and its deformation, at its periphery, as a result of its support at 4 at the top of the neck; this deformation forcing the broken part g to adhere perfectly to the inside of the neck

By continuing the screwing of the cover 6 to the bottom, as shown in FIG. 5, its bottom comes, by its periphery, press against the periphery of the

lower of the latter.

A perfect seal is therefore obtained simultaneously against the internal wall of the neck and at the top of the latter, by the usual simple placement of the cover, the capsule, or other member ensuring the closure of the container in question. In another embodiment of this seal, the bottom 8 is arranged at a level higher than that of its peripheral edge 2. and is
