   Dans les boites en fer-blanc ou autre matière, employées jusqu'à présent pour l'emballage de produits chimiques, poudres, onguents, crèmes de chaussures et autres articles analogues, on réalisait une garantie contre l'ouverture accidentelle en cas d'inattention et con- tre 1'évaporation ou toute autre détérioration du contenu par le fait que la. partie supérieure ou couvercle de la boite était adapté le plus étroitement possible sur la   partie.inférieure   ou corps de la boite et pressé sur celui-ci avec plus ou moins de force. Lors de l'ouverture de la'boîte, qui bien souvent ne pouvait pas être effectu- ée sans l'aide d'outils, le contenu de la boite était fréquemment,soit versé, soit collé   aux'mains   et aux vêtements de la personne qui pro - cédait à l'ouverture.

   Comme par l'effort exercé sur la boite le bord inférieur du couvercle était ordinairement en outre déformé, il était difficile de remettre le couvercle et de refermer la boite. Le but de la présente invention est de permettre l'ouverture et la fermeture aisées des boîtes, sans effort et sans l'aide d'outils, tout en assu- rant une étanchéité suffisante pour tous les usages. 



   Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme de réali-   sation   de l'objet de l'invention; dans ce dessin : fig.1 montre la vue de côté d'une boite fermée,

   fig.2   donne une coupe verticale dans la méme position: fig.3 est une coupe, vue de côté d'une botte ouverte en coupe. 



   Entre la partie inférieure ou corps 1 et le couvercle 2 de la   boite,   dont la fabrication ne diffère pas essentiellement de celle des boîtes ordinaires, on a intercalé une bague en équerre 3 de la même matière. 



  Le diamètre intérieur du couvercle dépasse de deux épaisseurs de   ma -   tière le diamètre extérieur de la partie inférieure ou corps de la botte. La partie de renforcement 5 ou bourrelet 6 du corps de la boite se trouve à une profondeur correspondante et empêche en même temps, après l'ouverture de la boite, la descente complète de.la bague d'é-   t'anchéiage..   



   Lorsqu'après l'application du couvercle, on maintient celui-ci avec le pouce de chaque main, tout en poussant vers le haut, avec l'index et le majeur, le bord saillant 4 de la bague en équerre 3, cette bague se place, comme le montre la fig. 2, en formant joint étanche entre le corps et le couvercle de la boite. L'ouverture s'effectue de la même façon en poussant la bague en équerre vers le bas, après quoi le cou- vercle peut être enlevé sans aucune difficulté comme le montre la   fig3.   



  En vue du renforcement, le bord 4 de la bague en équerre est replié. 



   REVENDICATIONS.
