The present invention relates to a press ring device according to the preamble of claim 1.
Cables or pipes that are introduced into buildings from an external supply network must be kept fixed and sealed in the walls. The best known method for this is to leave an opening in the house wall, to insert the cables or pipes and to seal the opening with mortar. However, this procedure has the disadvantage that it is time-consuming and that the mortar is difficult to bind, especially in wet areas. In addition, this system is not flexible, since the mass and the number of pipes or cables to be carried out must be known when the openings are created. Furthermore, new openings have to be drilled for subsequent house entries.
Furthermore, a press ring device is known which is suitable for the joint insertion of several cables. This device consists of a base body which can be pressed by means of compression rings arranged on both sides. The base body has a square opening which is filled with insert elements in the form of cuboids, the cuboids touching one another and thus fixing one another in their position. Each cuboid has a lead-through opening for receiving a cable or a tube, the lead-through openings being selected according to the diameter of the cable or tube. The production of these cuboids is complex and expensive, since the through openings have to be drilled in a separate work step.
In addition, the replacement of a single cuboid is difficult because the remaining cuboids, removed from their support, have to be held by hand. In addition, the squeeze is uneven due to the square shape. The base body can also be pressed only to a limited extent, since the compression rings only rest on the edge of the base body.
Supply pipes or cables often run in protective pipes that end at the house entry. For the house introduction of such protective tube / supply tube or protective tube / cable combinations, a press ring device is known which has a compressible base body and two opposing compression rings for pressing the outer protective tube and two further compression rings for pressing the inner cable or supply tube. This relatively complicated press ring device has the disadvantage that the protective tube and the cable or supply tube have to be pressed separately from one another, which is time-consuming.
It is an object of the invention to provide a press ring device for at least one cable or pipe, which is simple to manufacture and can be used flexibly.
This object is achieved by a press ring device with the features of patent claim 1.
It is a further object of the invention to provide a press ring device for a protective tube / supply tube or protective tube / cable combination which is simple to manufacture and which facilitates the assembly of the protective tube / supply tube or protective tube / cable combination.
This object is achieved by a press ring device with the features of claims 1 and 8.
The press ring device according to the invention ensures moisture and gas-tight pressing, which on the one hand seals the opening in the house wall and on the other hand fixes the cables or pipes in their position.
In the press ring device according to the invention, the insert elements are kept separate from one another. This means that they can be replaced individually without affecting the other insert elements. The insert elements are designed as hollow cylinders, which makes them easy to manufacture. The through opening does not have to be drilled subsequently, so that no mechanical preparatory work is required.
Depending on the cable or pipe to be inserted, an insert element with a correspondingly dimensioned through opening is inserted into one of the insert element receptacles of the base body. Since the receptacles for the insert elements in the base body are also cylindrical, the pipe or cable can also be passed through the base body directly without an insert element. If fewer cables or pipes are to be laid than the base body has insert element receptacles, then cylindrical blind plugs can be inserted into the excess insert element receptacles. If a pipe or a cable is to be inserted later, only the blind plug has to be replaced by a suitable insert element, without affecting the pipes or cables already inserted.
Due to the cylindrical shape of the insert element receptacles, the insert elements are pressed evenly in the radial direction and the pipe or cable is held in a straight line.
In the simplest embodiment, the press ring device has only a single insert element receptacle for receiving a single insert element with any through opening. This insert element receptacle is preferably arranged centered.
In a preferred embodiment, however, several insert element receptacles are present. These can all have the same or different diameters.
The compression plates arranged on both sides of the base body are preferably flat, but they can also be designed in a ring shape. The flat embodiment has the advantage that the bracing elements, in particular screws, are arranged adjacent to the insert element receptacles, in order to achieve an optimal pressure distribution on the base body.
The flat compression plates have recesses that come to rest over the insert element receptacles in the assembled state. These recesses preferably have the same or slightly larger diameters than the corresponding insert element receptacles, as a result of which the insert elements can be pushed into the receptacles without tools and pushed out of them. In the case of larger diameters, the press ring outlets are stepped, the first two steps, the edge of the insert element and the edge of the base body, being relatively soft and flexible.
However, the recesses of the compression plates can also have at least partially smaller diameters than the insert element receptacles. If the insert element receptacles all have the same diameter, the compression plates are selected in accordance with the insert element to be used.
In particular, press ring devices with multiple insert element receptacles or with receptacles for cables or pipes with large diameters are designed to be separable in the area of these receptacles, so that the press ring device can be placed around the cable or pipe to be received. The base body and compression plates have corresponding through slots. The insert element itself can also be designed to be separable by means of a continuous slot. If it cannot be separated, it is put over the pipe or cable beforehand.
The device according to the invention for protective tube / supply tube or protective tube / cable combinations claimed in claim 8 braces the protective tube and the cable or supply tube with the same tensioning means. This simplifies the manufacture of the compression ring since fewer components are required. In addition, the workload is reduced because less tensioning means have to be tightened. The shoulder between the two sections of the insert element holder serves as a stop for the outer protective tube. When tightening the tensioning means, the protective tube is first fixed in the press ring and the press ring in the building opening. The supply pipe or cable to be inserted into the building can still be moved in this state. By further tightening, the supply pipe or cable is now also fixed and sealed.
The inner diameter of the press ring device of the protective tube supply tube / cable combination to be clamped is adapted by means of insert elements. Preferably, only the section with the smaller inner diameter forms a receptacle for an insert element, which thus only receives the supply pipe or cable.
The press ring device, which is divided into two sections, can also be used without insert elements for protective tube supply tube / cable combinations in the manner described above.
In the accompanying drawings, embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown, which are explained in the following description. Show it:
1a shows an exploded view of a press ring device according to the invention with several insert elements;
1b shows the press ring device according to FIG. 1a in the ready-to-use state;
2a shows a view of a further embodiment of a press ring device according to the invention;
2b shows a longitudinal section through the press ring device according to FIG. 2a;
3 shows a view of a third embodiment of a press ring device according to the invention;
4a shows a view of a press ring device according to the invention for protective tube supply tube / cable combinations;
4b shows a longitudinal section through the press ring device according to FIGS. 4b and
5 shows a longitudinal section through a further embodiment of a press ring device according to the invention for protective tube supply tube / cable combinations.
1a and 1b, a first embodiment of the press ring device according to the invention for cables or pipes is shown. It consists of a cylindrical base body 1, at least one insert element 2, a first and a second compression plate 3, 4 and tensioning means 5, which are preferably screws.
The base body 1 is made of a flexible, compressible material, in particular a rubber. It has at least one, here four insert element receptacles 10 in the form of continuous cylindrical recesses which run parallel to the central axis of the cylindrical base body 1 and are arranged at a distance from one another. In Fig. 1a, the insert element receptacles all have the same diameter, but they can also have different diameters. The center points of the insert element receptacles preferably lie on a circle with a center point on the central axis of the base body 1. The base body 1 also has a plurality of through openings 11 for the tensioning means 5. The base body is preferably produced using the vulcanization process, as a result of which there is no need to subsequently drill the recesses.
The round, flat compression plates 3, 4 are made of a rigid material, in particular metal, and are flat. They preferably have a slightly smaller diameter d than the base body 1. The compression plates 3, 4 are arranged on two opposite flat sides of the base body 1. They have continuous recesses 30, 40 which, in the assembled state according to FIG. 2, come to rest over the insert element receptacles 10, at least approximately leaving them free. The recesses 30, 40 of the compression plates 3, 4 preferably have larger diameters than the diameters of the insert element receptacles 10.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1a and 1b, however, the recesses 30, 40 have different diameters, at least some of which are smaller than that of the associated insert element receptacle.
Furthermore, bores 31, 41 for the tensioning means 5 are provided in the compression plates 3, 4. In the first compression plate 3, these are through bores 31. In the second compression plate 4, there are threaded bores 41. In the assembled state, the screws penetrate the first compression plate 3 and the base body 1 and engage with their thread in the threaded bore 41 of the second compression plate 4 on. In this exemplary embodiment, the bores for the tensioning means 5 are arranged in a circle near the outer edge of the compression plates 3, 4.
If the screws are tightened, the two compression plates 3, 4 brace each other and the base body 1 is pressed together. This narrows the insert element receptacles on the one hand and on the other hand increases the outside diameter of the base body so that it forms a sealing seal in a wall opening.
The insert elements 2 have a hollow cylindrical shape and are made from a flexible, compressible material, in particular rubber. The insert elements 2 and the base body 1 preferably consist of the same material. The outer diameter of the insert elements 2 corresponds at least approximately to the diameter of the insert element receptacles 10, it being the same or slightly smaller. The insert elements 2 can be inserted and pushed out individually into the base body without affecting the other insert elements.
Each insert element 2 has a centered, continuous feed-through opening 20 for receiving a cable or pipe. The diameter of this lead-through opening differs depending on the insert element 2, so that if the insert element 2 is selected appropriately, each cable or tube can be optimally sealed to the outside. Insert elements with through-openings of different sizes can be held in a single press ring device, as shown in FIGS. 1a and 1b.
2a and 2b show a second embodiment of the press ring device according to the invention with two insert element receptacles 10. The tensioning means 5 are arranged adjacent to the insert element receptacles 10 in order to ensure an optimal pressure distribution.
2b shows a preferred mounting of the insert elements 2 in the base body 1. In each insert element receptacle there are two retention lugs 12, which are at least partially, here completely revolving, spaced apart from one another. The retaining lugs 12 are preferably formed by flanges which are arranged at both ends of the insert element receptacle 10 and are flush with the surface of the base body. The length of the insert elements 2 is preferably less than the distance between the retaining lugs 12. The two-sided exits thus have three steps, the first two steps being made of flexible material.
3 shows a third exemplary embodiment, which is particularly suitable for thick pipes or cables or for a large number of pipes or cables. The base body 1 and the compression plates 3, 4 are designed to be separable in the areas of the insert element receptacles 2. For this purpose, the base body 1 has slots 13 over part of its width, so that it can be opened. The compression plates 3, 4 consist of several parts 32, 42, the separation areas of the compression plates 3, 4 and the base body not coinciding. This press ring device is placed in the open position around the cables or pipes, the insert elements having already been pushed onto the cables or pipes beforehand.
If the screws are then tightened, the individual separable areas of the base body are also mutually fixed. In other embodiments, not shown here, the insert element is also slotted.
4a and 4b show a press ring device for a combination of a protective tube with a cable or supply tube running therein. Like the pressing ring devices described above, it consists of a base body 1, two pressing plates 3, 4 and at least one, here several clamping means 5.
The base body 1 has at least, preferably exactly one recess for receiving the protective tube and the cable or supply tube. This recess consists of two sections 10 min, 10 min min with different diameters, which are connected to one another via a right-angled shoulder 15. The first section 10 min with the smaller diameter serves to receive an insert element 2. In this example, it likewise has two, at least partially circumferential, retaining lugs 12 which are spaced apart from one another. The retaining lugs 12 are in turn flanges, one of which is flush with a flat surface of the base body 1 and the other with the shoulder 15. During assembly, the protective tube is brought to a stop against paragraph 15.
The cable or supply pipe running in the protective tube passes through the insert element 2 selected according to its diameter, so that it is led into the interior of the building. If the screws are tightened, the larger section is first pressed so that the protective tube is held in a sealing manner and at the same time the base body is fixed in the opening in the house wall. When tightened further, the insert element is also pressed so that the cable or supply pipe is held in a sealed manner.
5 shows a further exemplary embodiment of a press ring device for a combination of protective tube and supply tube or cable. The section 10 min with a smaller diameter, which serves as an insert element receptacle, does not have any special retention means, but merely consists of a cylindrical opening. The associated insert element 2 consists of a cylindrical tube section which has an at least partially circumferential flange 21 at one end. This flange 21 is in the assembled state on the paragraph 15. In the assembled state, the insert element 2 is held in position by the protective tube S, since the protective tube S rests on the flange 21. In this example, the insert element protrudes from the base body and the compression plate 3 at the end facing away from the protective tube S.
The press ring device according to the invention for a combination of protective tube and supply tube or cable is used in a simplest embodiment, not shown here, without an insert element. The base body has only at least one through opening consisting of two sections. In another embodiment, insert elements are only available for the protective tube, that is to say for the section with the larger diameter, or there are insert elements both for the protective tube and for the supply tube or cable.
