Description

The present invention relates generally to the elements to be implemented for the constitution of a scaffolding on the ridge of any construction to be treated, in particular for the realization of the repair of the cover thereof.

It relates more particularly, but not necessarily exclusively, to the consoles implemented for the establishment of a

body, and possibly a floor, along or on such a blanket.

More precisely still, the present invention relates to the case where, for subjugation to it of any other element of scaffolding, a rod or candlestick of railing for example, or another scaffolding console, such a console d scaffolding comprises, on the one hand, an end piece, on which said other scaffolding element can, for its location, be engaged, in practice by simple interlocking, and, on the other hand, transversely by relation to said end piece, for locking in position of said other scaffolding element, at least one bore specific to the implantation of any holding means, pin for example, through the latter.

Such a scaffolding console is for example described in the French patent application filed on April 14, 1975 under No. 75 11494 and published under No. 2,307,937.

In practice, in this French patent application, the drilling thus associated with a tip directly affects itself, said tip.

This arrangement has given and can still give satisfaction, at least for certain applications.

For safety, it is therefore necessary, in such a case, to seriously reinforce such a nozzle and its welding, at the cost of a complication for the assembly.

It is also known, for example from German patent application No. 2,138,483, to establish at a distance from a nozzle the bore associated therewith for the installation of a holding means. 40 But the corresponding scaffolding elements have a structure very different from those concerned by the present application, and the end piece which they comprise is more than a simple locating pin,

only suitable for controlling the relative location of two of these successive elements, only a real locating tip allowing 45 alone, stably, by simple interlocking, the subjugation to one another of such elements .

The present invention, however, generally relates to the application of a provision of the same type, with nozzle and drilling established at a distance therefrom to a scaffolding element of the 50 type here concerned.

FIGS. 9 and 10 are partial views in cross section of this other alternative embodiment, along lines IX-IX and X-X of FIG. 8 respectively.

These figures illustrate, by way of example, the application of the invention to a scaffolding console 10 of the type comprising, overall, an upright II, a cross member 12 attached at right angles to the upright 11, at the upper end of the latter, and triangulation means 13 connecting said support cross member 12 to said upright 11.

In practice, in the embodiments shown, the upright II and the crosspiece 12 are both constituted by sections of metal tube of square cross section, suitably secured to one another by welding, in the angle they form between them.

In addition, in these embodiments, the section of tube forming the cross member 12 is open at both of its ends, and, at a distance from such an end, it has, transversely, one or more bores 14 suitable for the installation of any holding means, a pin for example.

According to arrangements which, well known in themselves, and not forming part of the present invention, will not be described in detail here, it is thus possible to engage, at one or the other of the ends of the cross 12, and as shown schematically in broken lines for one of them in Figure 1, a latching arm 15, which, itself carrying a latching finger 16, allows the latching of the 'together with any fastener, usually called safety hook, provided for this purpose on the construction to be repaired, said attachment arm 15 being of course locked on said cross member 12 by one or more pins put in place in favor of holes 14 of these.

In view of the above, the section of tube constituting the upright 11 is closed at one of its ends, which is the upper end, by the crosspiece 12.

In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 6, the triangulation means 13 comprise, on the one hand, a section of tube 22, which, compared with those constituting the upright 11 and the crosspiece 12, is related to those ci, for example by welding, in the angle that these sections of tube form between them, extending at 45 ° relative to them, and, on the other hand, two sections of profile with T-section 23, which , each disposed respectively on either side of the section of tube 22, at the end of the latter opposite to said angle, being suitably secured to this section of tube 22, for example by welding, connect said section of tube 22 one to the upright 11, the other to the cross member 12, also being suitably secured, for example by welding, to said upright 11 and to said cross member 12.

In practice, at their connection to the upright 11 and to the cross member 12, the profile sections 23 each have a fold, allowing them to follow over a part of their length said upright 11 and said cross member 12.

To allow the subjection to it of any other scaffolding element, the scaffolding console 10 thus constituted comprises, at at least one point on its cross member 12, on the one hand, a nozzle 25, on which such a another scaffolding element may, for its location, be engaged, and, on the other hand, transversely relative to said end piece 25, for locking in position of said other scaffolding element, at least one bore 26, suitable for implantation of any holding means, a pin for example, through it.

In practice, such an end piece 25 projecting from the cross member 12, on a first side thereof, in practice on its upper face, the bore 26 associated with this end piece 25 affects a member, detailed below. , which also projects from said cross member 12, but on the other side thereof, and therefore on the underside of this cross member 12.

In the embodiment shown in Figures 1 to 6,

two end pieces 25, each disposed respectively at the ends of the cross member 12, are provided, on the side of said cross member 12 opposite the upright 11, said cross member 12 therefore carrying an end piece 25 at each of its ends, and that present at the corresponding end at the amount 11 is established in the extension of the said amount 11, the associated bore 26 then directly affecting this amount 11.

Thus, with regard to this end piece 25, the member comprising the bore 26 which is associated with it is formed directly by the upright 11 itself.

On the other hand, with regard to the end-piece 25 disposed at the other end of the cross-member 12, the member comprising the associated bore 26 is constituted by a specific section of tube 27 added for this purpose, for example by welding, on the underside of the cross member 12.

In practice, the section of section 23 of the corresponding triangulation means 13 extends up to this section of tube 27, being suitably secured thereto, for example by welding.

In a manner known per se, each end piece 25 is constituted by a section of tube having undergone a longitudinal constriction on each of its faces, in the median zone thereof, and therefore having a star-shaped transverse contour, as well as is best seen in Figure 3.

Anyway, the distance D1 between the base of a nozzle 25, appreciated at its connection to the cross member 12, on the one hand, and the drilling axis 26 which is associated with it, on the other hand, is made at most equal, and in practice less, at the distance D2 further separating the base of the sleeve 18 formed by the upright 11 at its base, on the one hand, and the axis of the bore 20 associated with this sleeve 18, on the other hand.

Any of the end pieces 25 of the console according to the invention can for example make it possible to subject to the latter, as shown diagrammatically in broken lines in FIG. 1, another scaffolding console 10 ′, of similar construction.

Assuming, as shown, that the endpiece 25 concerned is the one disposed at the end of the cross member 12 opposite the upright 11 of the console 10, such engagement leads the flanges 19 of the console 10 'to be covered, each respectively, the corresponding sides of the tube section 27 of said console 10.

It then suffices, the corresponding holes 20, 26 being aligned, as shown in FIG. 6, to engage in these holes 20, 26 any holding means, a pin for example, not shown.

Of course, such a second scaffolding console 10 ′ can also be installed, under the same conditions as above, on the end piece 25 arranged in the extension of the upright 11 of the console 10.

In all cases, and according to arrangements known in themselves, it allows the layered construction of a scaffold along a cover, if desired.

On one or the other of the end pieces 25 of the scaffolding console 10 according to the invention can also be engaged, under the same conditions as above, a rod or candlestick of the railing 30, provided that, at in the manner of the upright 11 of such a scaffolding console 10, this railing rod 30 forms, at its lower end, or foot, a sleeve 18 extended by flanges 19 with bore 20, as shown diagrammatically in broken lines in Figure 1.

In this FIG. 1, it has been assumed that the railing rod 30 should be implanted on the end piece 25 arranged in the extension of the upright 11, but it goes without saying that it can just as easily be implanted on the end piece 25 disposed at the other end of the cross member 12.

According to arrangements comparable to the previous ones, the scaffolding console 10 according to the invention can also be subjected to any other scaffolding element comprising a nozzle 25 and a bore 26 associated with it.

This is the case, for example, as shown diagrammatically in broken lines in FIG. 1, for the subjection of such a scaffolding console 10 to any support arm 32 capable of allowing it to be pressed on the one of the walls of the building to be treated.

Known in itself, and not forming part of the present invention, such a support arm 32 will not be described in detail here.

It suffices to indicate that, comprising a cross-member 33, it has, according to the invention, projecting from this cross-member 33, on a first side of the latter, a nozzle 25, and, also projecting from this cross-member 33 , but on the other side of the latter, a member 27, a simple section of tubing for example, having the bore 26 associated with said end piece 25.

In the variant embodiment shown in FIG. 7, the cross member 12 of the scaffolding console 10 according to the invention comprises, at the lower surface of its cross member 12, at the end of it

ci opposite to its upright 11, a shoe 35 itself having, recessed on its lower surface, a recess elongated transversely in the form of a vault 36, for possible attachment of the assembly to any support bar 37, such shown schematically in broken lines in this figure 7.

In practice, between the cross member 12, the shoe 35 is secured, for example by welding, on the one hand, to the section of tube constituting the member 27 nearby and, on the other hand, to the section of section 23 corresponding to the means triangulation 13.

In the variant embodiment shown in FIGS. 8 to 10, it is on such a shoe 35 that the bore 26 associated with the overlying nozzle 25 is formed.

It is, in this case, a shoe made by molding, said shoe having a core 39, with, at the edge of its upper edge 15 as well as at the edge of its arch-shaped recess 36 and the drilling 26, a flange 40 extending on one and the other of the faces of this core 39, perpendicular to the latter.

For the bore 26, this rim 40 has, perpendicular to said core 39, a greater extension than for the upper edge thereof and than for the vault-shaped recess 36.

According to a development of the invention, the bore 26 has, in cross section, an ovoid outline, with its most tapered portion directed in the direction opposite to the associated end piece 25.

Thus, placed in the upper part of this bore 26, in its section with the largest passage, as shown diagrammatically in broken lines 42, in FIGS. 8, 9, the pin 42 used then moves downwards in the direction of the tapered portion of said bore 26, under the effects of the load applied to it by the element which it maintains; as shown schematically in broken lines 42n 30 in Figures 8, 9, it then gets stuck in said tapered portion of the bore 26, which advantageously limits the transverse play which may be the object the element concerned, or even eliminates any possibility of play for this one.

In addition, in the embodiment shown, it is associated, 35 with the arch-shaped recess 36 of the shoe 35, as shown diagrammatically in broken lines in FIGS. 8 and 10, a fastener 44, which, from contour to overall semi-circular elevation, and pivotally mounted on said shoe 35 by means of a bore 45 thereof, is capable of snapping onto the support bar 37 on which said sa-40 bot 35 is engaged by its said arch-shaped recess 36, for locking the assembly on this support bar 37.

For such a snap-fastening, the fastener 44 preferably extends over more than 180 ° and is elastically deformable.

Of course, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments 45 described and shown, but encompasses any variant.

In particular, several holes 26, for example staggered, can be associated with the same end piece 25.
