3. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the lifting member comprises two arms articulated to each other and returned by a spring, in a determined mutual position, one of these arms being connected to said set of sliding parts, The other arm being articulated to a chassis intended to be rigidly fixed to the vehicle, this spring having the effect of allowing the sled to be raised when the latter passes over an obstacle.
4. Device according to claim 3, characterized in that it further comprises an equalizing roller placed in front of the sled, this roller also being controlled by the lifting member and by means of an elastic regulation rod roller pressure on the floor.
5. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises two sleds arranged side by side and connected to the two ends of a beam, the middle part of this beam being articulated at the end of one of the sliding parts.
Devices are already known for the preparation of cross-country ski trails, comprising at least one tracing sled and connecting means for coupling this sled to a tracked vehicle.
In these known devices, the tracing sleds are pulled by a vehicle and are sometimes loaded using lead ingots, when the consistency of the snow requires a higher pressure to obtain sufficiently deep traces.
After heavy snowfall, the towing vehicle often sinks into the snow. To clear it in reverse, it is necessary to move the sled (s), which implies a relatively large effort for the person tracing the tracks because, without additional load, the sleds weigh around thirty kilos each.
The present invention aims to make easier and faster the work of tracing the bottom tracks.
The subject of the invention is a device of the aforementioned type, in which the connection means comprise, on the one hand, a member for lifting and respectively positioning the sled, this member being actuated by a double-acting hydraulic cylinder and , on the other hand, a device intended to apply pressure on the sled, this device being constituted by a set of sliding parts connected, on the one hand, to said member and, on the other hand, to the sled, a spring acting between these parts to exert pressure on the sled.
The attached drawing shows, schematically and by way of example, an embodiment of the device which is the subject of the invention.
Fig. I is an elevational view of a vehicle equipped with the device.
Fig. 2 is a partial representation of the device, seen from the rear of the vehicle.
With reference to fig. 1, a tracked vehicle 1 has a platform 2, carrying at the rear a chassis 3 rigidly fixed on this platform. This chassis 3 carries an articulation 4 for one end of an arm 5, the other end of which is articulated at 6 to an arm 7 arranged horizontally. These two arms 5 and 7 are subjected to the action of a spring 8 which urges them against abutment means, not shown, determining their respective position, visible in FIG. I
The rear end of the arm 7 is articulated to a set 9 of sliding parts which is articulated to the middle part of a beam 10, each end of which is itself articulated to a tracing sled 11, respectively 12.
These sleds carry under their sole two pads 13 and 14 whose section corresponds to the imprint that one wants to produce in the snow.
The assembly 9 of sliding parts comprises a cylinder 15 integral with two lateral sockets 16, respectively 17, serving as a guide for two sliding rods 18 and 19. The latter are connected, at their lower part, to a base plate 20 articulated on the beam 10. The cylinder 15 serves as a housing for the upper part of a coil spring 21, the lower end of which bears against the base plate 20.
To obtain good guidance of the sleds 11 and 12, these are connected at their front part to a bent arm 22 articulated, on the one hand, to the sled and, on the other hand, to a part secured to the chassis 3.
A double-acting cylinder 23 connects the articulation point 6 to the chassis 3 and makes it possible to pivot the assembly of the arms 5 and 7 around its articulation point 4. A retraction of this cylinder 23 causes the pivoting of the arms 5 and 7 in the opposite direction to that of the needles of a watch, which makes it possible to raise the sleds 11 and 12 to bring them into a position of non-use. By rotating the arms 5 and 7 in the opposite direction, the sleds 11 and 12 are brought into contact with the snow and, by continuing this pivoting movement, the spring 21 is compressed more and more until the desired pressure on sleds. In practice, a pressure of 300 kg exerted on all of the two sleds makes it possible to make a suitable track in very hard snow.
The device further comprises a roller 24 intended to level the snow behind the tracks of the sled 1 and between them. This roller 24 is carried by articulated arms 25 and 26, the latter being pushed by a set of sliding parts 27 similar to the set 9.
This assembly is connected at its upper part to an arm 28 integral with the arm 5 so that the lifting of the roller 24 is automatically associated with the lifting of the sleds 11 and 12.
