Fig. 2 einen Schnitt in vergrössertem Massstab nach der Linie II-II in Fig. I;
Fig. 3 einen Schnitt ebenfalls in vergrössertem Massstab nach der Linie III-III in Fig. 1;

Fig. 5 einen Schnitt nach der Linie V-V in Fig. 4, wobei Teile der Klemmkraftmessvorrichtung ungeschnitten dargestellt sind;

The invention relates to a clamping force measuring device for checking the clamping force exerted by the clamping jaws of a non-positive coupling, in particular the cable clamping device of a cable car cabin.
In the case of cable cars in which the cabins are carried along by an endless hoisting rope, it is necessary to uncouple the cable car cabins at the stations from the constantly rotating hoisting rope. In order to make this possible, non-positive couplings with clamping jaws that can move in opposite directions are known, which are pressed against the hoisting rope by spring force or by a force derived from the weight of the cable car cabin.
For safety reasons, it is necessary to check the clamping force generated as described or in some other way between the conveyor rope and the clamping jaws at predetermined time intervals.
So far, to check the clamping force, a fixed pulling force has been generated in the direction of the hoisting rope between the clamping device and hoisting rope. This is associated with high tensile stress and undesirable wear on the hoisting rope when it slips through.
The aim of the invention is to create a clamping force measuring device of the type described at the outset which enables the clamping force to be precisely measured without any stress on the hoisting rope. For this purpose, according to the invention, a measuring housing to be arranged between the clamping jaws and divided transversely to the measuring direction is provided, between the halves of which at least one pressure sensor is arranged.
To measure the clamping force, the cable car cabin is first uncoupled from the hoisting rope. Then, instead of the conveyor rope, the measuring housing is brought between the clamping jaws, whereupon the clutch is engaged and its clamping jaws are thereby pressed against the measuring housing and exert the same clamping force that they exert on the conveyor cable when they are engaged. The clamping force is now measured and, if necessary, registered. The coupling is then released again and the clamping force measuring device is separated from the cable car cabin so that it is ready for operation again for coupling to the hoisting rope.
The clamping force measurement takes place here in the uncoupled state of the cable car cabin from the hoisting rope, whereby any stress on the hoisting rope is eliminated during the measurement.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to schematic drawings of an exemplary embodiment with further details. Show it:
1 shows a measuring housing of a clamping force measuring device according to the invention, namely on the left in an external view and on the right after removal of a housing half in an internal view from the same direction;
FIG. 2 shows a section on an enlarged scale along the line II-II in FIG. I;
3 shows a section, also on an enlarged scale, along the line III-III in FIG. 1;
4 shows a partially sectioned plan view of the clamping device of a cable car cabin in the state coupled to the clamping force measuring device;
FIG. 5 shows a section along the line V-V in FIG. 4, parts of the clamping force measuring device being shown uncut;
6 shows a simplified partial view in the direction of arrow VI in FIG. 5.
1 to 3 show a measuring housing of the clamping force measuring device according to the invention, denoted overall by the reference numeral 1, which accommodates two quartz crystal pressure transducers 2, 3 at a distance d (FIG. 6) from one another.
The measuring housing 1 has the shape of a round rod divided into two halves 4, 5 in a longitudinal plane, the halves 4, 5 of which have thickened areas 6, 7 in the middle. A carrier 8, which is attached to the thickened area 6 by means of screws 9, projects between these thickened areas 6, 7. The thickened area 7 has a channel-like recess 10 for leading out the measuring lines 11 from the pressure sensors 2, 3.
As will now become clearer, the left half of FIG. 1 shows an outside view of half 4 of the measuring housing 1 and the right half of FIG. 1 shows a view of the inside of the half with half 4 removed.
From Fig. 2 it can be seen in detail how the pressure sensors 2, 3 are received between the two halves.
In the two halves 4, 5 aligned blind bores 13, 14 are arranged, which form a cylindrical cavity. This cavity is so large that it can just accommodate the ring-shaped quartz crystal pressure transducer 2 or 3. The interior of the pressure transducer is penetrated by a screw 16 which is inserted through a through hole 15 in half 4 and which is screwed into a threaded hole 17 in the other half 5. The remaining annular space between the inner wall 18 of the quartz crystal pressure transducer 2 or 3 and the threaded section 19 of the screw 16 is filled by a filling sleeve 20.
The dimensions are such that, in the assembled state, a gap of width s remains between the two halves 4, 5 of the measuring housing 1. A gap of at least this width s separates the two halves 4.5 over their entire length.
Thus, the two halves are braced against one another solely by means of the screws 16 via the two pressure sensors 2, 3. The gap s is also dimensioned so large that the gap s is not eliminated even when the operating pressure is extremely high. The gap can, however, be dimensioned in such a way that it is eliminated in the event of undesired, excessive pressure loads, so that the halves 4, 5 then come to rest and form an overload protection for the quartz crystal pressure transducer 2 or 3.
The quartz crystal pressure transducers 2, 3 are prestressed with a defined prestress via the screws 16. It is true that the initial tension also generates an electrical effect due to the compression of the quartz crystal (piezo effect). However, these electrical effects of the preload disappear over time, so that the preload then only produces purely mechanical effects.
The carrier 8 (see also FIG. 6) carries display, operating and handling devices as well as the measuring cables 11 led out via the channel 10.
4 to 6, the clamping force measuring device is shown in its operating position between a movable clamping jaw 30 and a stationary clamping jaw 31 of a non-positive coupling 32 which, during operation, normally connects the clamping device 33 of a cable car cabin to a hoisting rope, not shown. This hoisting rope has a circular cross-section approximately corresponding to the cross-section of the round rod formed from the two halves 4, 5.
For a clearer illustration, the jaws 30, 31 and other details are omitted in FIG. 6.
In the case of the non-positive coupling shown, the movable clamping jaw 30 is clamped in the engaged state by a force derived from the weight of the cable car cabin against the hoisting rope. For this purpose, the clamping jaw 30 is fastened to a plunger 35 which is displaceable in a guide 34. The plunger is displaceable by a piston 36 which is guided in pairs of lateral guide slots 38 in a guide body 39 via rollers 37 (FIG. 4). The guide body 39 is firmly connected to the clamping device 33 via an axis 40 and is guided vertically movably relative to the coupling 32 and the piston 36 in a coupling housing 46 via rollers 47. In this direction, the weight of the cable car hanging on the clamping device 33 pulls, so that when the cable car cabin is not supported, the guide body 39 is pulled down as far as possible relative to the piston 36.
The guide slots 38 are designed so that in this position the piston 36 is pushed the furthest to the right and exerts a thrust force on the plunger 35, which presses the movable clamping jaw 30 against the hoisting rope or the round rod with a clamping force proportional to the weight of the cable car cabin .
The clutch housing 46 is firmly connected to a chassis, denoted as a whole by the reference number 44, with pairs of rollers 45 mounted therein. For uncoupling from the conveyor cable in a station, the cable car cabin runs over the rollers 45 on rails 49 (dash-dotted lines in FIGS. 5 and 6). Then the cable car cabin is pushed upwards, for example over a roller 41 seated on the axle 40, which runs up on an inclined plane 42 indicated by dash-dotted lines. Since the chassis 44 and the coupling housing 46 remain in their position supported on the rails 49 via the rollers 45, the piston 36 is moved to the left by the upward movement of the clamping device and the clamping jaw 30 is pushed down by a compression spring arranged between the jaws 30, 31, see above that the clamping jaws 30, 31 are opened and the hoisting rope is released.
The clutch described and its operation are known.
In order to measure the clamping force of the non-positive coupling, the cable car cabin is also first moved onto the rail 49 via the rollers 45. Then the cable car cabin is raised onto the inclined plane 42, for example by running up the rollers 41 - in the embodiment shown two couplings 32 according to FIG. 4 are arranged one behind the other and two rollers 41 are accordingly also provided. Here, the guide body 39 with the guide slots 38 moves upwards with respect to the housing 46 and the piston 36, as seen in FIG. 5, and the coupling 32 is released from the hoisting rope. Instead of the conveyor rope, the measuring housing 1 of the clamping force measuring device can now be inserted with its one end between the clamping jaws 30, 31 of a coupling 32.
Since the distance between the quartz crystal pressure transducers 2, 3 is selected to be equal to the distance d in FIG. 4 between the two pistons 36 of the two clutches 32, the pressure transducers come to lie exactly at the level of the associated clamping jaws 30, 31.
By removing the inclined plane 42 and thereby allowing the weight of the cable car to act on the guide body 39 via the clamping device 34, the guide body is pulled downwards, whereby the pistons 36 move to the right and the clamping jaws 30 due to the interaction of the rollers 37 with the guide slots 38 , 31 spans the round bar cross-section from the halves 4, 5. As a result, the same clamping force is exerted on the quartz crystal pressure transducers 2, 3 as on the hoisting rope during operation. The quartz crystal pressure transducers emit a corresponding electrical signal which can be displayed on the carrier 10 and possibly registered.
Then the clutches 32 are opened by again lifting the cable car cabin relative to the chassis 44 still resting on the rails 49 via the rollers 45, so that the clamping force measuring device can be removed from the clamping jaws 30, 31. The cable car cabin is then ready to be coupled with the hoisting rope.
Instead of quartz crystal pressure transducers, other known pressure transducers, e.g. Pressure transducers working with strain gauges or hydraulic pressure transducers can be used.
The clamping force measuring device described has two pressure transducers arranged at the same distance as the couplings in adaptation to cable car cabins, the clamping devices of which are each coupled to the hauling rope via two non-positive couplings. It can be seen that the clamping force measuring device can also be designed with just one pressure transducer without departing from the scope of the invention, and that furthermore, when using more than two couplings, the clamping force measuring device can also have a correspondingly increased number of pressure transducers arranged at corresponding intervals .
Finally, the described clamping force measuring device can also be used to measure the clamping force in other ways, e.g. Use force-fit clutches actuated by spring force.
Furthermore, location-independent lifting devices can be used instead of the construction with roller 41 and inclined plane 42 to release the clutches loaded by the weight of the cable car cabin, so that the clamping force measurement can be carried out at any point in the station.
