Abstract

The container (14) has a screwed neck (12, 20) with pawl teeth (21) around its base. The cap (16) has a threaded inner surface screwing on the container neck with regularly spaced tabs (24), around the base. The locking ring (18) has inward pointing projections (28) which pass through the spaces (26) between the tabs and locate in the pawl teeth. An annular rib (37) on the inner ring surface holds in a recess (24A) around the tabs; this surface has vertical ribs (34) locking tabs and rings together. The assembly can be screwed down, the projections riding over the pawl teeth; unscrewing requires removal of the ring using pull tabs (30, 36) provided.
