qui servent de guide pour des glissières étrésillons;
; glissières étrésillons de faible épaisseur et ayant, en
rée par un ou des éléments de serrage;
; profils horizontaux, chaque profil comportant des
Facade element
The technique applied until now in the construction of facades consists most often of using vertical uprights and horizontal profiles that are assembled in the workshop, in the form of large elements which are then brought to the construction site of the building. This technique, which has many drawbacks, including in particular difficulties and transport costs, impossibility of modifying the assembly produced, etc., was however made necessary due to the fact that the constituent elements of curtain walls currently in use require, for their assembly, means and a specialized workforce, which can hardly be used on construction sites.
Other construction elements for curtain walls have already been proposed, but these are not entirely satisfactory because they still require a great deal of preparatory work on the site. They do not adapt very easily to the frame of the building and / or hardly tolerate thermal expansion of the entire curtain wall.
The present invention makes it possible to remedy these various drawbacks. Indeed, its object is facade elements which are easily transported and are assembled on the site itself, without requiring specialized labor; in addition, they adapt easily to the frame and are designed to allow the expansion of the assembly while ensuring its tightness.
The facade element according to the present invention consists of: - vertical profiles, each vertical profile having a
rectangular section made up of a core
and two footings of equal length, perpendicular
the soul, the latter ending in the middle
of each sole, the two soles being provided
a longitudinal housing at each end, the web
each profile comprising one or more lugs,
which serve as a guide for struts slides;
; strut guides of low thickness and having, in
section, the shape of an irregular half-polygon, com
wearing a large side, this slide sliding in the
vertical profile between the soul of the latter and two boxes
facing each other, soles of this profile, the
large side sliding along the web of the vertical profile
being provided with housings surrounding the lugs of the core
vertical profile and can be fixed at desired height
reed by one or more clamping elements;
; horizontal profiles, each profile comprising
means for fixing glazing slats, provided with a
channel for condensed water, and having a cross-section
rectangular in shape, fitting into the worm profile
tical and resting on the struts slide, the base of
each horizontal profile being provided with a tip
in flexible material, taking up the dilations.
The elements according to the present invention have many advantages, such as: easy transport to the site; easy adaptation of vertical profiles to the frame,
for example by proclamation or by any other device
known allowing the expansion of the assembly; quick and easy fixing of horizontal profiles in
vertical profiles, at the desired level, without hands
specialized work; thanks to the flexible tips, the whole is made waterproof.
che, the vertical profiles are protected against
damage when sliding the struts and a
some expansion of the elements is possible; aesthetic appearance of the whole; ease of adaptation to any type of glass, panel
or chassis.
In addition, the curtain walls and panel façades thus constructed meet the directives of European standards.
The attached figures represent an embodiment of the present invention and they show:
Fig. 1: a cross section through a vertical profile.
Fig. 2: a cross section through a horizontal profile adapted to a vertical profile.
Fig. 3: a cross section through the strut slide.
Fig. 4: a cross section through another embodiment of horizontal profile.
The vertical profile of FIG. 1 comprises a core 1 with two perpendicular flanges 2 and 3 and a guide 4 for a blind. The two soles comprise, at each end, a housing 5 for a flexible seal or for a glazing bead (glazing slat).
The core 1 of this profile is provided with lugs 6, the role of which is to serve as a guide for the strut slide 7 (see fig. 3) and for the glazing slat 8. This glazing slat 8 is provided with housings 9 for flexible joints and a core 10 sliding along the core 1 and being housed in the lugs. To ensure the parallelism of the vertical webs 10 and 1, a lug is provided at the end of the web 10.
In addition, an additional bulge increases the inertia of this element. The pressure of the joints of the glazing slat and of the vertical profile on the pane, panel or frame is obtained by a clamping stop 11 resting on the lugs 6 or on the flanges 2 or 3 of the vertical profile. The guards 12 are clipped between the glazing slat 8 and the housings 5 of the flanges 2 and 3 of the vertical profile, making the latter more rigid and of tubular shape.
The horizontal profile of FIG. 2 rests on the slide 7, fixed at the desired height in the vertical profile.
The base 13 of this profile is provided with two end pieces 14 made of flexible material (for example silicone), ensuring tightness, allowing thermal expansion and protecting the elements themselves against risks of scratching or other degradation on the surface, during assembly.
This base 13 is provided with housings 15 for the flexible seals 16. The pane, panel and / or frame 17 is fixed by suitable glazing slats 18, themselves provided with a housing for a flexible seal 16. These slats are provided with a curvature 19 for the recovery and evacuation of water condensing on the glass or panel.
Fig. 3 shows the strut slide 7, having in section the shape of a U with a large base and uprights 20.
It comprises housings 21 surrounding the lugs 6 and sliding along the latter. On the other hand, the height of the uprights 20 is such that they slide along the housings 5 of the vertical profile. The slide 7 is fixed at the desired height, in the vertical profile, using two set screws 22 or other clamping element. The slide 7 comprises bars 23, also serving as a support for the horizontal profile. These bars are terminated by a circular section with slot 24 possibly allowing the horizontal profile to be screwed to the vertical profile by means of the strut.
The assembly of curtain walls made up of the elements described above is carried out as follows:
The vertical profiles are fastened to the construction using cast aluminum shells forming a funnel and gargoyle for the collection of condensation water while ensuring the vertical expansion of the profiles. This shell is fixed, for example using bolts, to a three-dimensional fitting previously mounted and adjusted to the substructure (masonry, steel reinforcement, etc.).
Then, the struts slides are slid on each side of the vertical profile and they are fixed at the desired height, as previously described and, on these struts, the horizontal profiles are placed.
One of the advantages of the present invention lies in the fact that the assembly of the curtain facade can be carried out, with the elements described above, from inside the building, which avoids considerable costs.
However, in certain cases or in certain places, the substructure can constitute an obstacle to the assembly of the panels from the inside. In this case, horizontal profiles are used, such as the one shown in FIG. 4.
Compared to the horizontal profile shown in FIG. 2, the horizontal profile of FIG. 4 consists of three parts, of which the two parts, 25, as soon as they are fixed to the third, no longer form a single profile of the same section as the profile of FIG. 2. The other elements of FIG. 4 playing the same role as the elements of FIG. 2 bear the same reference numbers as the latter.
