Lutrin La présente invention a pour objet un lutrin pour maintenir un livre ou autre imprimé en position dressée sur un plan, tel une table ou un banc.
II est caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend trois tiges mobiles et articulées réunies à une extrémité pour former un trépied pouvant s'ouvrir ou se fermer en vue du rangement, soit en vue d'adapter l'angle d'ouverture du trépied à la dimension du livre ou de l'imprimé qu'il supporte.
Selon une forme d'exécution du lutrin objet de l'in vention, deux tiges possèdent des moyens maintenant les pages du livre appuyées sur l'un et l'autre des volets de la couverture du livre lorsque celui-ci est posé ouvert contre le lutrin et dont la troisième tige, plus courte et droite constitue simplement un élément du trépied.
Selon une variante, l'une des extrémités de chacune des 3 tiges est en forme sphérique pouvant pivoter dans les logements creux aménagés à cet effet dans un cha peau qui constitue le point de jonction des trois tiges, de telle sorte que ces dernières peuvent s'ouvrir en forme de trépied et prendre toutes les positions idéales en fonc tion du genre de livre que le lutrin est appelé à supporter.
En outre, le chapeau en forme de pyramide triangu laire possède des parois destinées à limiter l'écartement des tiges dans les limites exigées par l'utilisation de lutrin et 3 logements creux, à l'intérieur, destinés à rece voir exactement les rotules des tiges formant trépied.

Le lutrin représenté est constitué par 3 tiges rondes i à 3 dont deux, I et 2, constituent les éléments por teurs du livre 5 et la troisième 3, légèrement plus courte, le dernier élément du trépied. Les tiges 1, 2 et 3 ont chacune une extrémité identique, soit un resserrement la destiné à faciliter la motion des rotules R qui ter minent les tiges 1, 2 et 3.
Les rotules R des tiges 1 à 3 viennent s'encastrer dans les logements creux prévus à cet effet, 4a, 4b et -fc, à l'intérieur du chapeau 4.
Pour éviter que le lutrin ne tombe sur le plan d'appui par écartement trop prononcé des uns par rapport aux autres, le chapeau 4 possède des parois 4p qui limitent l'écartement maximum des tiges 1, 2 et 3 tout en permet tant des écartements intermédiaires aux tiges 1 et 2 en fonction de la grandeur du livre 5 à supporter.
Les tiges 1 et 2, de même longueur, possèdent à l'extrémité inférieure une branche en forme de L dont la partie 16 respectivement 2b constitue le point d'appui du livre 5 et dont la partie la plus courte 1c respecti vement 2c est plus particulièrement destinée au maintien des pages du livre 5 placé sur ce lutrin en position appli quée et ouverte contre les tiges 1 et 2.
La tige 3 est toute droite et légèrement plus courte que les tiges 1 et 2.
Lors de l'utilisation du lutrin la possibilité de faire pivoter les tiges 1 et 2 permet de tourner vers l'intérieur les moyens lb et 26 si l'on a affaire à de grands livres ou à des livres usagés ayant tendance à trop s'ouvrir. Lorsqu'il s'agit de livres neufs ayant tendance à se refer mer on fera pivoter les moyens<B>1</B> 6 et 2b vers l'extérieur. II est également possible, lorsqu'un livre est ouvert aux toutes premières pages, de pivoter le moyen lb gauche, vers l'extérieur en laissant le moyen 2b, droit, en posi tion d'angle droit par rapport aux pages du livre. Dans le cas d'un livre ouvert aux toutes dernières pages, la position des moyens 1 b et 2b sera exactement contraire.
