Lutrin La présente invention a pour objet un lutrin pour maintenir un livre ouvert en position dressée sur un plan, tel la surface d'une table ou d'un banc, caracté risé par le fait qu'il comprend trois tiges articulées bout à bout et agencées de manière à pouvoir soit être pliées l'une sur l'autre, notamment en vue du range ment du lutrin, soit former un triangle dont les côtés constituent les surfaces d'appui du livre, un organe permettant de dresser ce triangle sur le plan avec son sommet en retrait par rapport à sa base et des moyens maintenant les pages du livre appuyées sur l'un et l'au tre des volets de la couverture du livre lorsque celui-ci est posé contre le lutrin.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de la présente invention: La fig. 1 en est une élévation en perspective; la fig. 2 est une vue similaire à la fig. 1 montrant un lutrin sur lequel est placé un livre.
La fig. 3 est une vue de dos de la fig. 2.
Le lutrin représenté est constitué par un quatre tiges plates 1 à 4 dont les trois premières, 1 à 3, cons tituent les éléments sur lesquels peut être appuyé un livre 5 et, la quatrième, est une béquille permettant de maintenir le triangle que forment les tiges 1 à 3 en position légèrement inclinée par rapport à la verticale. Les diverses tiges de ce lutrin sont de longueur sensi blement identique.
Les tiges 1 et 2 sont articulées l'une à l'autre en a et les, tiges 1 ,et 3 en<B>b</B>. L'extrémité supérieure .de la tige 4 est fixée de façon articulée, par l'intermédiaire d'une charnière 6, sur une plaquette 7 (fig. 3) articulée à son tour par rapport aux tiges 1 et 2 autour du même axe a. La charnière 6 est telle qu'il est possible de déplacer angulairement la béquille 4 dans une direction perpendiculaire au plan du triangle que l'on forme par les tiges 1 à 3 lorsque l'on dresse le lutrin.
L'exrémité inférieure des tiges 1 et 2 forme un L dont la branche la plus longue, 1a, respectivement 2a, constitue une surface d'appui de ces tiges sur le plan sur lequel on veut poser le lutrin et dont l'autre bran- che, plus courte, 1b, respectivement 2b est plus parti culièrement destinée au maintien des pages du livre placé sur ce lutrin en position appliquée sur l'un ou l'autre des volets 5a ou 5b du livre 5.
La longueur des parties 1b et 2b est cependant suffisamment réduite pour permettre de dégager une à une les pages qu'il est destiné à maintenir par léger fléchissement de ces pages des -doigts de l'usager en direction du sommet du triangle.
Pour éviter que le lutrin ne tombe sur le plan d'ap pui par écartement trop prononcé de la béquille 4, cette béquille est réunie à la tige 3 par un élément de liaison 6 qui peut "être par exemple un fis ou une chai- nette.
De même le déplacement angulaire relatif des tiges 1, 2,et 3 -disposées en triangle peut-il être évité grâce à une partie recourbée 3a de l'extrémité libre de la tige 3 faisant prise sur la partie inférieure de la tranche de la tige 2.
Sur la tige 2 une pince souple 2c permet de ser- zer lia tige 3 .de manirèe à pouvoir régler l'angle formé par les tiges 1 et 2 en positionnant différemment la tige 3.
Le lutrin représenté et décrit peut être constitué en tout matériau adéquat, métal, matière plastique, bois etc. Il peut être de toute dimension et de toute couleur.
La longueur des différentes tiges qui le constituent étant sensiblement la même et la liaison mutuelle de ces tiges étant réalisée par articulation, il est possible de plier le lutrin en disposant les tiges l'une sur l'autre notamment en vue de son rangement ou de son trans port.

The lectern shown is constituted by a four flat rods 1 to 4, the first three of which, 1 to 3, constitute the elements on which a book can be supported 5 and, the fourth, is a crutch making it possible to maintain the triangle formed by the rods 1 to 3 in a slightly inclined position from the vertical. The various rods of this lectern are of substantially the same length.
Rods 1 and 2 are articulated to each other at a and rods 1 and 3 at <B> b </B>. The upper end of the rod 4 is fixed in an articulated manner, by means of a hinge 6, on a plate 7 (Fig. 3) articulated in turn with respect to the rods 1 and 2 about the same axis a . The hinge 6 is such that it is possible to angularly move the crutch 4 in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the triangle which is formed by the rods 1 to 3 when the lectern is erected.
The lower end of the rods 1 and 2 forms an L, the longest branch of which, 1a, respectively 2a, constitutes a bearing surface for these rods on the plane on which the lectern is to be placed and the other branch of which is che, shorter, 1b, respectively 2b is more particularly intended for maintaining the pages of the book placed on this lectern in the applied position on one or the other of the flaps 5a or 5b of the book 5.
The length of parts 1b and 2b is however sufficiently reduced to allow the pages that it is intended to be maintained to be released one by one by slightly bending these pages of the user's fingers towards the top of the triangle.
To prevent the lectern from falling on the support plane by too pronounced spacing of the crutch 4, this crutch is joined to the rod 3 by a connecting element 6 which can "be for example a fis or a chain. .
Likewise, the relative angular displacement of the rods 1, 2, and 3 -disposed in a triangle can be avoided by virtue of a curved part 3a of the free end of the rod 3 taking hold on the lower part of the section of the rod 2.
On the rod 2 a flexible clamp 2c makes it possible to tighten the rod 3 so as to be able to adjust the angle formed by the rods 1 and 2 by positioning the rod 3 differently.
The lectern shown and described can be made of any suitable material, metal, plastic, wood, etc. It can be of any size and color.
The length of the various rods which constitute it being substantially the same and the mutual connection of these rods being produced by articulation, it is possible to fold the lectern by placing the rods one on top of the other, in particular with a view to its storage or to its transport.
