Description

 la fig. 1 est une vue en perspective de l'enveloppe du support de bouteilles et   d'un    organe de séparation, mais les bouteilles étant enlevées du support;
 la fig. 3 est une vue latérale d'un support muni de l'organe de séparation, lequel est disposé dans sa position d'emploi relativement aux bouteilles;
 la fig. 4 est une feuille destinée à former l'enveloppe représentée aux fig.   1    2 et 3;

 The present invention relates to a part for separating bottles contained in a support, for example in a support consisting of an envelope in the form of a sleeve and open at its ends.

   Known separation pieces are satisfactory as regards the separation of the bottles by constituting a mattress between them. However, they have the drawback of requiring a large amount of material and of not easily lending themselves to mechanical placement in the package during the formation of the latter. In addition, certain types of known parts tend to slide relative to the bottles, unless certain precautions are taken to ensure that the casing, the bottles and the part forming the pack are held rigidly together.

   The aim of the invention is to avoid at least in part the above drawbacks.

   According to the invention, the part for separating bottles contained in a support, for padding bottles arranged in two rows of at least two bottles each, which comprises a main panel, several padding tabs connected by a fold line, to one edge of said main panel, is characterized by at least one stabilizing tab connected, by a fold line, to said edge of the main panel, between a pair of said padding tabs, and in that said main panel is arranged to be supported by the necks of the bottles in one row, with said padding tabs arranged in the middle of the support in an inclined position relative to said panel and between adjacent bottles of different rows,

   the stabilization tab itself being designed to be supported by the necks of a pair of adjacent bottles in the other row.

   If desired, several notches can be provided in the main panel, along an edge which is opposite the padding and stabilizing tabs, these notches being arranged to receive the neck of the bottles of one of the rows, this preferably directly below the bottle caps.

   The drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the invention:
 fig. 1 is a perspective view of the casing of the bottle holder and of a separator, but the bottles being removed from the holder;
 fig. 2 is a view along line 2-2 of the support shown in FIG. 3
 fig. 3 is a side view of a support provided with the separation member, which is arranged in its position of use relative to the bottles;
 fig. 4 is a sheet intended to form the envelope shown in FIGS. 1 2 and 3;
 fig. 5 is a sheet intended to form a separating member similar to that shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 3.

   In the drawing, there is shown at I the upper flap of the casing, which is located above the caps of the packed bottles. This flap has holes 2 intended to allow the support to be grasped, as is well known. Inclined flaps 3 and 4 are connected by a fold line 5 respectively 6 to the edges of the upper flap I. Several slots 7 are arranged along the fold line 5 as well as several slots 8 are formed along the line of. folding 6.

  The slots 7 and 8 are intended to receive the caps of the bottles packaged in a well known manner.

  The side walls 9 and 10 are connected by fold lines 11 and 12 to the lower edges of the flaps 3 and 4. Inclined flaps 13 and 14 are connected to the lower edges of the side walls 9 and 10 by fold lines 15 and 16 respectively. Several openings 17 and 18 are formed in the inclined flaps 13 and 14 respectively to receive, in known manner, the lower parts of the packed bottles. The panel forming the base of the support consists of flaps 19 and 20 which overlap and which are connected to flaps 13 and 14 respectively, by fold lines 17a and 18a.

  These two flaps of the bottom panel are fixed together by clamping tabs 21 formed in the lower flap 20 of the bottom panel, which are engaged in openings delimited by several retaining tabs 22 presented by the upper flap 19 of the bottom panel . The wrapper is clamped around the group of packaged bottles, by members of a machine which enter openings 23 and 24 formed - respectively in the flaps 19 and 20. Thus, the bottles are wrapped so that the flaps 19 and 20 are arranged under the group of bottles, and the machine members arranged in the openings 23 and 24, move towards each other by clamping the sheet forming the envelope, around the group of bottles.

   Then, the clamping tabs 21 are brought through the openings delimited by the retaining tabs 22.

   In order to separate the bottles contained in one row, from adjacent bottles in the other row, at the bottom of the pack, a middle tab 25 is provided.

  The latter is connected to one of the edges of the flap 19 of the bottom panel, by a fold line 26 and it is oriented perpendicular to the flaps. 19 and 20, when the package is formed.

   A pair of transverse tabs 27 are cut from the flap 19 to which they are connected along a fold line 28. These tabs serve to separate the two end bottles of a row from the bottle disposed in the middle of the row. Likewise, transverse tongues 29 are cut out in part 20 to which they are connected by a fold line 30.

   The separation member, according to a first embodiment comprises a panel 31, several padding tabs 32 connected to the panel by a fold line 33, and several stabilization tabs 34 also connected to the panel by a fold line 33. Several notches 35 are preferably formed along an edge of the panel 31.

   When the separating member according to FIG. 1 is arranged in the envelope shown in FIG. 1, the panel 31 extends along the neck of the bottles of the right row seen as for example in FIGS. 1 and 2. The notches 35 then engage the neck of the bottles in the right row and are located under the bottle caps.

   As can be seen from fig. 1, 2 and 3, the padding tabs 32 are disposed between adjacent bottles of different rows to establish padding between them. In other words, the padding tabs 32 separate the bottles at their neck, just as the padding flap 25 separates them at their bottom.

   As can be seen from Figs. 1 and 2, the stabilizing tabs 34 are arranged in a substantially horizontal plane and extend between the bottle located in the middle of the left row and each of the end bottles of this row. It is also apparent from the drawing that the stabilizing tabs 34 are particularly effective in preventing longitudinal displacement of the separator relative to the open ends of the casing. In addition, the stabilizing tabs 34 oppose any downward movement of the separation piece due to the fact that they are retained by the neck of the bottles in the left row as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.

   If for some reason the notches 35 are released from the underside of the caps of the adjacent bottles in the right row, the top edge of the panel 31, which is indicated at 36, will abut the inner surface of the top flap 1 so that the divider will remain attached to the package. It is clear that the separator piece will not be able to move downwards due to the fact that the stabilizing tabs 34 tend to support the part and also due to the fact that the panel 31 is disposed perpendicular to the quilting tabs 32 as this emerges from fig. 1 and 2.

     It is clear that the panel 31 cannot slide down as long as it occupies the angle shown and it is unlikely that the panel can assume an upright position due to the interaction of the stabilizing tabs 34 tending to tilt. lifting the whole of the separation piece and due to the fact that the quilting tongues 32 are arranged vertically and therefore constantly retained in the active quilting position.

   The separation piece is particularly suitable for being placed mechanically, without interrupting the continuous movement of the bottles to be packaged, given that it can be inserted simply from the top and forced into the active position by guides.

   Furthermore. it is clear that the part shown in FIGS. 1 and 5 uses minimal material, such as cardboard. Given that the separating part is only subjected to very low tensions, provided that such tensions occur, it can be constructed of a material suitable for providing the cushioning necessary to prevent breakage of the packed bottles.

   Although the padding 32 and stabilizing tabs 34 are represented in FIG. 1 as determined by cutting lines generally perpendicular to the fold line 33, it is clear that the lines which determine these tabs can be inclined as represented in 37. and 38 in Figure 5.
