Claims (8)

  1. Pallet for the storage, handling and transportation of at least two piles (2, 3; 24, 25) of stackable monobloc seats (4; 26) arranged side by side, comprising thick anteroposterior longitudinal members (5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12) connected by thin upper transverse laths (14, 15; 27 to 29), characterised in that the longitudinal members (5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12) are arranged in two edge pairs and one central pair, the longitudinal members of one single pair being connected by a thin lower anteroposterior lath (7, 10, 13) intended to support directly at least one leg of the subjacent seat of the corresponding pile.
  2. Pallet according to claim 1, intended to support at least two piles (2, 3) of seats (4), the stacking axis of which is vertical and which are directed towards at least one side, characterised in that the lower anteroposterior laths (7, 10, 13) support all of the legs (19, 20) of the subjacent chairs (4), the longitudinal members (5, 6, 8, 9) of each edge pair being spaced in accordance with the space required by a leg (18, 21) of a subjacent seat, while the longitudinal members (11, 12) of the central pair are spaced in accordance with the space required by a leg (19) of one subjacent seat and by the adjacent leg (20) of the other subjacent seat.
  3. Pallet according to claim 1, intended to support at least two piles (24, 25) of seats (26), the stacking axis of which is inclined and which are directed towards the front, characterised in that the lower anteroposterior laths (7, 10, 13) directly support the rear legs (30) of the subjacent seats and, by means of shims (33) straightening the piles, the front legs (32) of these seats, the longitudinal members (11, 12) of the central pair being spaced in accordance with the space required by the adjacent front legs (32) of the subjacent seats, while the longitudinal members (5, 6, 8, 10) of each edge pair are spaced in accordance with the space required by the corresponding rear leg (30) of a subjacent seat.
  4. Pallet according to claim 3, characterised in that the width requirement of the central pair of longitudinal members (11 to 13) corresponds substantially to the spacing of the branches of the fork of a hand pallet truck.
  5. Pallet according to claim 4, characterised in that the longitudinal members (11, 12) of the central pair have opposing notches (31) for housing the rear adjacent, but spaced legs (30) of the two subjacent seats (26).
  6. Pallet according to claim 3, characterised in that the outer longitudinal member (5, 9) of each edge pair is interrupted (at 34) to allow for the passage of the corresponding front leg (32) of a subjacent seat so that it rests on the shim (33) of the lower anteroposterior lath (7, 10, 13), so that the pallet can then be designed for the European gauge.
  7. Pallet according to claim 3, characterised in that the outer longitudinal member (5, 9) of each edge pair has a notch (35) in which is positioned a shim (36) resting on the anteroposterior lath (7, 10) in front of which the upper front transverse lath (27) connecting the longitudinal members (5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12) is disposed, the front legs (32) resting on the edge shims (36) and a central shim (37) aligned with the latter.
  8. Pallet according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the two piles of seats loaded on to this pallet are connected together by a cover of heat-shrinkable plastic.
