Abstract

1,106,404. Bottle carrier insert. HEAD CORPORATION. 9 March, 1966 [28 June, 1965], No. 10409/66. Heading B8C. An insert for an open-ended bottle carrying sleeve has a main panel 31 along one edge of which are hinged cushioning tabs 32 and stabilizing tabs 34. The bottle carrying sleeve is of known construction and houses six bottles in two rows. The main panel 31 of the insert rests on the shoulders of one row of bottles, Fig. 2 (not shown), with the tabs 32 between adjacent bottles of opposite rows, Fig. 3 (not shown), and the tabs 34 fitting between adjacent bottles in the other row. Notches 35 in the main panel 31 engage under the caps of the bottles.
