Carte postale On sait que pour acheminer un document, par exem ple une reproduction photographique, par voie postale, il faut en général disposer celui-ci à l'intérieur d'une enveloppe.
Il est par ailleurs d'usage de présenter les photos dans un cadre de présentation.
La présente invention permet précisément de s'af franchir de la première condition ci-dessus pour l'envoi de reproductions photographiques ou autres tout en assu rant à celles-ci une présentation élégante et pratique.
Elle a en conséquence pour objet une carte postale, permettant à la fois l'acheminement et la présentation d'au moins un document, notamment d'un document photographique, caractérisée parle fait qu'elle est cons tituée de deux pans rabattus l'un sur l'autre et assemblés, par exemple par collage, sur au moins deux de leurs bords,
pans dont l'un constitue le dos de la carte des tiné à porter la. correspondance et l'adresse du destina- taire et l'autre, le devant de celle-ci, percé d'au moins une fenêtre derrière laquelle apparaît le document préa lablement introduit entre ces deux pans par l'un des bords, ouvert, de la carte ;
des moyens étant prévus pour fermer au moins partiellement ce bord après l'introduc tion du document et emprisonner celui-ci dans la, carte, d'autres moyens étant en outre prévus, seulement pen- dant l'acheminement postal de ,la carte, et qui permet- tent d'obturer ladite fenêtre pendant cet acheminement,
le tout agencé de manière qu'après réception de cette carte, le destinataire puisse l'utiliser comme présentoir du document.
La présente invention sera mieux comprise en se référant au dessin annexé qui représente, à titre d'exem- ples, plusieurs formes d'exécution de celle-ci et sur lequel La fig. 1 montre, vue de devant, une carte postale selon l'invention, permettant l'acheminement et la pré sentation de deux photographies.
La fig. 2 représente une carte postale selon l'inven tion destinée à l'acheminement et à la présentation d'une seule photographie.
La fig. 3 est une vue de dos de la carte postale repré sentée à la fig. 2.
La fig. 4 représente, vue .de côté, la carte postale selon l'invention, dans son utilisation en présentoir. Les fig. 5, 6 et 7, des cartes postales selon l'inven- tion telles qu'elles ,se présentent pendant leur achemine ment, leur fenêtre étant obturée.
La carte postale se compose de deux pans (1, 2) rabattus l'un contre l'autre autour de la pliure (3). Ces deux pans sont collés sur leurs deux bords (4, 5) tandis que le bord (6) reste ouvert et permet l'introduction de la photographie entre les deux pans (1, 2).
Ainsi que cela ressort de la fig. 3, l'un des pans cons- titue le dos de la carte et permet d'inscrire le nom du destinataire, de coller un timbre pour l'acheminement de la carte postale et d'inscrire une courte correspondance, comme dans le cas d'une carte postale ordinaire.
Des emplacements (7, 8, 9) sont respectivement pré vus pour ces trois fonctions.
L'autre pan (2) est percé de fenêtres, deux dans 1,, cas de la fig. 1, une dans le cas de la fig. 2 derrière les quelles apparaissent les photographies introduites entre les deux pans de la carte.
Bien que l'on n'ait représenté que des cartes ayant une ou deux fenêtres, il est bien évident que des cartes de ce genre peuvent être conçues avec un nombre de fenêtres supérieur.
Ces fenêtres sont agrémentées d'un liséré (10) qui en souligne le contour.
Elles sont en outre recouvertes, depuis l'intérieur, d'une pellicule transparente (11) destinée à protéger la photographie. Cette pellicule peut par exemple être réa lisée dans des matières telles celles commercialisées sous les noms de cellophane ou rodoïd. On notera que dans le cas de la fig. 1 où deux fenê tres sont prévues, on prend soin de coller les pans 1 et 2 entre les deux fenêtres, de manière à séparer la carte en deux pochettes dont chacune reçoit une photographie.
Une nervure de pliage (12) est d'ailleurs disposée à la limite de séparation de ces deux pochettes.
Les photographies sont introduites par le bord (6) ouvert, de la carte dans leur logement et les pattes (13) venues de fabrication avec le pan (2) sont rabattues sur ce bord (6) et leur extrémité est engagée dans l'ouver ture (14) pratiquée à la base du pan (1). De cette façon, le bord (6) est partiellement fermé et les photographies ne peuvent s'échapper.
Bien que l'on ait jusqu'à présent décrit des cartes postales comme devant renfermer une photographie, il est bien évident que cette utilisation n'est pas limitative et que l'on peut également utiliser ces cartes postales pour la transmission de tous documents photographi ques ou non.
L'administration postale n'acceptant pas l'achemine ment de cartes postales directement sous 1a forme où elles ont été représentées aux fig. 1 et 2, i1 y a lieu, au moment de l'envoi de celles-ci par l'expéditeur, d'obtu rer la fenêtre (15), laquelle est ensuite découverte après réception de la carte.
On a représenté aux fig. 5, 6 et 7 différents moyens permettant d'obturer cette fenêtre sans détériorer la carte postale. A la fig. 5, le pan (2) est découpé à l'em porte-pièce selon le contour (16) de la fenêtre, le volet (17) est laissé dans sa position représentée, au moment de l'achat de la carte postale.
L'expéditeur se contente d'introduire la photographie, de fermer l'ouverture (6) comme précédemment décrit et d'envoyer la carte pos tale. Le destinataire, à la réception, dégage le volet (17) et la. carte postale se présente sous l'aspect définitif repré senté à la fig. 2.
A la fig. 6, on a représenté une variante du mode d'obturation représenté à la fig. 5. Dans cette variante, on prédécoupe le volet (18) seulement sur trois de ses côtés, le quatrième étant retenu au corps du pan (2) par un découpage en pointillé (19).
Enfin, à la fig. 7, on prévoit de recouvrir au moins la partie intérieure de la fenêtre d'une feuille autocol lante (20). Cette feuille autocollante appliquée sur la surface transparente (11) est enlevée aisément à la récep tion de la carte postale. On peut toutefois prévoir de recouvrir non seulement la fenêtre elle-même, mais son bord ou même la surface totale du pan 2.
La feuille autocollante (20) peut alors être enlevée à la réception sans détérioration du pan (2) de la carte postale.
Bien que cela n'ait été représenté qu'à la fig. 4, on peut en outre munir le dos de la carte postale de moyens permettant, après sa réception, son maintien vertical, dans son utilisation en présentoir de la photographie.
A cet effet, on prévoit un pied (21) qui peut être rapporté sur le dos de la carte postale ou provenir d'un pré-découpage dans ce dos.
Un autre moyen, qui n'a pas été représenté au des sin et qui permet, lui aussi, d'obturer la fenêtre de la carte uniquement pendant son acheminement postal, consiste à découper certaines portions du cadre de la, fenêtre sur toute l'épaisseur du pan (2) et à découper les autres portions sur une fraction seulement de cette épaisseur de manière à retenir le volet ainsi créé,
à la carte, pendant l'acheminement de celle-ci et à permettre au destinataire de dégager la fenêtre de la carte par pression sur le volet ou tout autre moyen.
Bien entendu et bien que les fenêtres des cartes représentées soient rectangulaires, on peut leur donner toute autre forme désirable, polygonale ou arrondie.

The postcard consists of two panels (1, 2) folded against each other around the fold (3). These two sides are glued on their two edges (4, 5) while the edge (6) remains open and allows the introduction of the photograph between the two sides (1, 2).
As can be seen from FIG. 3, one of the sides constitutes the back of the card and allows the name of the recipient to be entered, a stamp to be affixed for the delivery of the postcard and a short correspondence to be entered, as in the case of 'an ordinary postcard.
Locations (7, 8, 9) are respectively provided for these three functions.
The other side (2) is pierced with windows, two in 1 ,, the case of FIG. 1, one in the case of FIG. 2 behind which appear the photographs inserted between the two sides of the map.
Although only cards having one or two windows have been shown, it is obvious that cards of this kind can be designed with a higher number of windows.
These windows are decorated with a border (10) which emphasizes the outline.
They are also covered, from the inside, with a transparent film (11) intended to protect the photograph. This film can for example be made from materials such as those sold under the names of cellophane or rodoid. It will be noted that in the case of FIG. 1 where two windows are provided, care is taken to glue the panels 1 and 2 between the two windows, so as to separate the card into two pockets, each of which receives a photograph.
A folding rib (12) is also arranged at the separation limit of these two pockets.
The photographs are introduced by the open edge (6) of the card in their housing and the legs (13) produced with the panel (2) are folded over this edge (6) and their end is engaged in the opening. ture (14) made at the base of the panel (1). In this way, the edge (6) is partially closed and the photographs cannot escape.
Although postcards have so far been described as having to contain a photograph, it is obvious that this use is not limiting and that these postcards can also be used for the transmission of all photographic documents. ques or not.
The postal administration does not accept the forwarding of postcards directly in the form in which they have been shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, it is necessary, when they are sent by the sender, to close the window (15), which is then discovered after receipt of the card.
There is shown in FIGS. 5, 6 and 7 different means making it possible to close this window without damaging the postcard. In fig. 5, the panel (2) is cut out with the workpiece holder according to the outline (16) of the window, the shutter (17) is left in its position shown, when the postcard is purchased.
The sender simply introduces the photograph, closes the opening (6) as previously described and sends the postcard. The recipient, upon receipt, releases the shutter (17) and the. postcard is in the final appearance shown in fig. 2.
In fig. 6, there is shown a variant of the shutter mode shown in FIG. 5. In this variant, the shutter (18) is precut only on three of its sides, the fourth being retained to the body of the panel (2) by a dotted cutout (19).
Finally, in fig. 7, provision is made to cover at least the inner part of the window with a self-adhesive sheet (20). This self-adhesive sheet applied to the transparent surface (11) is easily removed upon receipt of the postcard. However, provision can be made to cover not only the window itself, but its edge or even the total surface of the panel 2.
The self-adhesive sheet (20) can then be removed upon receipt without damaging the panel (2) of the postcard.
Although this has only been shown in FIG. 4, it is also possible to provide the back of the postcard with means allowing, after its reception, its vertical maintenance, in its use as a display for the photograph.
For this purpose, a foot (21) is provided which can be attached to the back of the postcard or come from a pre-cut in this back.
Another means, which has not been shown in the drawings and which also makes it possible to close the window of the card only during its postal delivery, consists in cutting out certain portions of the frame of the window over the entire length. thickness of the panel (2) and to cut the other portions over only a fraction of this thickness so as to retain the shutter thus created,
à la carte, during the transport of the latter and to allow the recipient to release the card window by pressing on the shutter or any other means.
Of course, and although the windows of the cards shown are rectangular, they can be given any other desirable shape, polygonal or rounded.
