Description
Fig. 1 zeigt ein extrudiertes Kunststoffrohr 1, z.
Plastic cable protection tube Existing and new cable systems can be protected by plastic tubes into which the cables are pushed. Protection is particularly necessary if, as a result of the construction of an oil pipeline that is cathodically negatively protected, existing low-voltage or high-voltage cable lines are crossed, if existing or newly created earthing systems for high-voltage overhead lines cross existing low-voltage and high-voltage cables, or if there is electrical interference of existing cable lines available or expected.
In new cable systems, round, closed pipes are used for such protection, through which the cables are pulled at the points in question. However, if such ge closed plastic pipes have to be installed in existing Kabelanla conditions, it is necessary to cut the cables at the points under consideration so that they can be pulled into the pipes. However, this results in interruptions in the operation of the systems and subsequent splicing and jointing work is required. Furthermore, the cable feed into existing, closed cable duct systems is generally associated with a great deal of work.
In order to avoid these inconveniences, according to the invention a cable protection tube made of plastic is slit in the longitudinal direction for the purpose of being attached to a laid cable or subsequent insertion of a cable, and there is a closure piece for closing the longitudinal slot.
In the drawing, two examples are from embodiments of the subject invention provides Darge.
Fig.1 shows a cross section of a slotted plastic pipe, Fig. 2 is a cross section of an associated plastic strip, Fig. 3 is a partial cross section of the plastic pipe with inserted plastic strips, and Fig. 4 is a partial cross section of a plastic pipe with another embodiment a plastic strip to close the longitudinal slot. Fig. 1 shows an extruded plastic pipe 1, e.g. B. made of polyethylene, which has a longitudinal slot 2 along its entire length.
In Figure 2, an H-shaped plastic strip 3, z. B. made of soft polyvinyl chloride, which can be inserted into the longitudinal slot 2 after laying the plastic pipe 1, as can be seen from Figure 3, the legs of the strip 3 overlap the edges of the slot 2 inside and out. Due to the radial force acting on the pipe 1, the pipe remains in the closed state. In this way, the plastic pipe 1 forms a protection for the cable (not shown) located therein.
In the modified embodiment of the cable protection tube according to Figure 4, a U-shaped plastic strip 5 is formed on an edge 4 of the longitudinal slot of the tube, which can consist of one piece with the tube or be permanently attached to this. The two legs of the strip 5 overlap the other edge 6 of the tube inside and outside. This protective cable pipe is therefore also slotted in the longitudinal direction and also has a lock for closing the longitudinal slot.
As can be seen, the protective tube described can be applied to a cable length to be protected, without the cable having to be cut and connected again.
