Machine for the production of gears according to the hobbing process The invention relates to a machine for the manufacture of gears by the hobbing process, which has a rotating spindle which carries a tool that produces a flat or conical work surface, which spindle is mounted in a spindle carrier and thus the main pivot is rotatable about a normal to and in a plane with the generating line of the generating tool and therefore also parallel to the axis of the gear to be ground, the main pivot being mounted on a slide,
which can be slid in a straight guide perpendicular to the gear axis, so that the linear path of the main pivot is parallel to and at a distance from the tangent to the gear base circle with radius, R0 at the intersection of the gear and machine center line with the base circle , as well as means for coupling the angular and linear movements in such a way that the distance y0R0 from the center line is an angular movement yi of the spindle carrier from a linear movement x = a ³ tg yi -R0 sec yi [(yi - sin yi) + y0 (1-cos yi)
] of the main pivot slide, whereby the generating line is also the generating line of an exact or almost exact involute, which is developed from the base circle with radius R0.
The purpose of the invention is to create such a machine, in particular for the production of high-precision volvent spur gears or helical gears, by means of which the gears through known work, such as. B. planing or hobbing, vorbe worked tooth flanks with high accuracy of the desired profile by a profile hobbing process in which a rotating tool, such. B. a grinding wheel is used, can be finished.
During the generating process, the grinding wheel is guided with an oscillating movement over a sufficiently large distance to detect the required tooth depth, in such a way that the generator of the grinding wheel contact surface forms an envelope to an exact circular involute of the gear base circle with radius R0 or a close approximation to it forms during the first, second, or both halves of their cycle of motion. Means are also provided for changing the path of the grinding wheel so as to
that the grinding wheel, together with the basic curve, changes to the tooth profile, such as B. head or foot rounding produces.
A flat grinding wheel with a line contact between the tooth flank to be ground and the wheel can be used if a tooth profile without tip and / or root rounding or helical angle corrections is produced for helical gears,
since then there is no risk of damage to previously ground parts of the tooth flank.
For the production of modified involute profiles, i. H. For those with head and / or root rounding or helical angle corrections on helical gears, a conical washer is preferred for point contact with the tooth flank to avoid this risk.
Because of the larger area of application, a conical grinding wheel is assumed below.
In order to grind the entire tooth flank of a spur or helical gear tooth and to be able to repeat the operation for the following teeth, the grinding wheel: e and / or the workpiece must be given additional movements. Therefore, in the present machine, the grinding wheel must perform all the necessary movements, such as. B.
Cut, roll off the profile and feed while the workpiece (a pre-machined and heat-treated gear) remains stationary when grinding spur gear tooth flanks and rotates at a speed depending on the feed rate when grinding helical tooth flanks.
After completing a tooth flank, the workpiece is indexed to bring the following tooth flank into the correct grinding position; these operations - are repeated until all tooth flanks of a gear are finish-ground.
The essential part of such a present machine is the grinding head, which comprises the grinding wheel and the associated guide mechanism and meets the requirement that all its components - except for the working part of the grinding wheel - are located outside the space occupied by the workpiece and are operated have to.
The rest of the machine, i.e. H. the bed, the pillars, the work table and the switching device of the workpiece can be designed in a known manner.
It is known; to produce an involute profile by means of the movement of a straight generating line, which is preferably produced by part of the cone generating line of a straight circular cone grinding wheel
A composite generating movement of the grinding wheel is used to generate a circular volvent by means of your infinite number of successive tangent positions of the cone generating lines of the grinding wheel. This composite generating movement consists of an oscillation of the grinding wheel
around an axis, parallel. to and at a distance Ro + a from the tool axis and from a straight, always parallel back and forth movement of the oscillation axis along a line parallel to and at your distance a from the tangent to the workpiece base circle from the radius Ro at the intersection of the machine and workpiece center line with the base circle.
The machine according to the invention is characterized by the fact that, for coupling the angular and linear movements, an adjustable crank is articulated at one end to a stationary frame and at the other ends to a coupling member, and that one end of this coupling member along a predetermined, with respect to the said Frame fixed track, is movable, while its other end is hinged to one end of a lever,
which is firmly connected to the main pivot of the spindle carrier for the tool-carrying spindle and is movable therewith.
In the drawing, exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown; FIGS. 1-3 illustrate the mathematical and mechanical relationships on which these examples are based.
According to Fig. 1 carries -a rotating 'spindle 1, a grinding wheel 2, which has a conical working surface with a cone tip angle of 150-178. The spindle! 1 is mounted in a spindle carrier 3 and can thus be pivoted about a main pivot 4 which is axially normal to and in a plane with the generatrix of the working surface of the grinding wheel (since the latter rotates). The main pivot 4 is rotatably mounted in a main slide 5 ', which is ver slidable in straight guides 61-62.
The guides are perpendicular to an axis M of a gear with a base circle radius Ro, so that the straight path of the pivot pin 4 is at a distance R0 + a from the gear axis M.
In the reference position, the pivot 4 is at a distance R0 y0 from the vertical center line in the figure. Only in those cases where the involute tooth profile has to be ground down to its starting point 0 on the base circle does this reference position coincide with the vertical center line.
If the angular and straight line movement of the grinding wheel around the pivot 4 or along the guides are in such a relationship to one another that from the reference position an angular movement cpi from a straight line movement x = a ³ tg yi - R0 sec yi [ (yi - sin yi) + y0 (1 - cos yi)] is accompanied; then the generator will also be the generator of an involute, which starts from the starting point 0 on the base circle R0.
As a result of the aforesaid connected movements, any point in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the pin 4 and rigidly connected to this pin relative to the stationary main frame of the grinding head: write a curved path. A point A will describe a path a-a, point B a path ss-ss and so on.
A particularly advantageous embodiment of a machine head is shown in FIG. The linkage shown is an adjustable crank 11 hinged at 12 on your main frame 8,
Another adjustable lever 13 is articulated at 14 on the main frame B and an adjustable coupling member 15 is connected to the crank 11 and the lever 13 by pivot pin 16 or
17 connected. One. Pivot A of a lever 10 'eats adjustable on the coupling member 15.
Assuming that the correct lever dimensions have been selected including the position of the pivot pins 12 and 14 in b: ezug on the guides 61-62; the mechanism guides the pivot A along the path a-a;
whereby the correct relationship already mentioned between indicator and linear movement comes about, d. H. cpi for the:
Axis of rotation 4 and x = a # tg cpi - R "sec cpi [(9a1 - a (p1) + gao (1- cos 991) l for slide 4.
Different lever dimensions will give different paths for pivot A, and they can be calculated to suit any gear within the machine's capacity:
To reduce the number of settings for a specific gear to be machined: RTI ID = "0002.0210" WI = "18" HE = "4" LX = "1641" LY = "2646">. - which in the common four-lever mechanism is quite large and requires a considerable amount of complicated calculations - less complicated versions of the same basic mechanism can be used. One of them is shown in Fig. 3 represents. It eats, a sled lever mechanism, i.e. H.
a four-lever mechanism in which a lever 13 is infinitely long and therefore forces the pivot pin 17 to follow a linear path.
In general, any lever mechanism, lever plus cam mechanism, lever plus roll cam mechanism, etc. can be used, provided that it can be adjusted sufficiently easily to the various gear sizes to be machined, robust and reliable in operation 16t.
