Abgabevorrichtung

Dispensing device
The invention relates to a dispensing device with means, arranged on a sliding track, for receiving a stack of objects which fit into one another and of which a flexible part protrudes to one side. The device is primarily intended for dispensing egg cartons from a stack of cartons stacked one on top of the other.
The dispensing device according to the invention is characterized by a support plate device that can be attached under this flexible part for partially lifting the objects that fit into one another on the slide, by a stripping plate device that is movable together with the support plate arrangement and relative to this for engagement above the flexible part of the bottom object and for separating from the object located above, by means of auxiliary support arms which extend at least partially under the stack of objects and support them when the support plate device is withdrawn from the lowest object of the stack,
by a gripping finger device that can be attached to the flexible part to determine the lowest flexible part when the stack is carried by the auxiliary support arms and to allow the introduction of the support and the stripping plate device between the flexible parts of the lowest and the next following object, and by power transmission elements, which are functionally connected to the support and stripping plate device, the auxiliary stretcher arms and the gripping finger device, and coordinate their movements with one another.
The delivery of individual egg cartons from a stack is particularly difficult because the cardboard cartons with appropriate hollows for receiving the eggs are cast from cellulose and stored in large stacks.
Many square centimeters of area of one box touch the area of the next box, which is arranged both above and below.
It is a property of these cardboard boxes that are cast from pulp that their coarse fibers, which are pressed and matted together, adhere to one another and resist easy separation. When the egg trays are nested and stacked for storage and expanded and contracted during storage due to temperature and humidity changes, separation of the egg trays becomes a serious problem for egg packaging. A lot of time can be lost in separating the egg cartons, especially if the device on an egg packing machine that does this job does not work in an effective way.
In the following description, the features of the device are set forth, the terms used being used only for description and not for limitation. Reference is also made to the drawing, which forms an essential part of the description. It shows:
1 shows a side view of the device according to the invention for dispensing cardboard boxes;
Fig. 2 is a front view of the device shown in Fig. 1;
3 is a side view of the opposite side of the device with parts broken away and in section, as well
4, 5, 6 are schematic representations of individual parts of the device in different positions.
According to the drawings, the cardboard container 10 serves to receive a cardboard stack 12 and to deliver one cardboard each from the lower end of the stack. The cartons 12 are egg cartons with a base section 13, which has individual recesses for the beer, as well as a lid 16 and a front closure flap 18. The cartons are cast from cellulose cardboard, which is flexible so that the lid 16 can be bent over the egg cells and the closing flap 18 can be bent open so that the projection 20 of the flap comes into engagement with the recess 22 of the cover 16 in order to hold the cover 16 in the closed position.
As can be seen from FIGS. 3, 4, 5 and 6, the cartons are nested in one another in the open position in order to form a stack of cartons tightly wedged into one another on a slide 24. In the open position, the cardboard lid 16 of the body part 13 and the flap 18 weigh essentially in one plane.
The cardboard container 10 has an inclined slide track 24 for the cardboard stack. This slide 24 has a rear wall 26 and two side walls 28 and 30 which protrude from the rear wall 26.
Since the cartons, as long as they are nested and stacked, form a solid, relatively rigid body, a plate device is provided to support the stacked cartons in the slide track 24 at their front closure flap. The support plate peening device 32 has a thin, flat, straight blade or plate 34 which is held by a transverse beam 36 which is held at its ends on supports 38 and 39. The supports 38, 39 are articulated with their lower end to lateral frame parts 40 and 42 by means of transversely directed bolts 44, in order to be able to execute a pivoting movement against the slide 24 and away from the slide 24.
The support plate device 32 is shown in FIGS. 1, 3, 4, 5 (dashed lines) and 6 in its position for supporting the stack, in which the plate 34 protrudes under the closure flap 18 of the nested cardboard stack. The nesting and wedging of the cardboard boxes made of paper with their closure flaps makes them so rigid that the stack of boxes can be supported on the flap ends in the inclined slide.
The Abstreifplatten a device 46 serves to inevitably pull away the bottom box from the box stack. The stripping plate means 46 has a straight, thin, flat plate 48 which is directed transversely to the cardboard container 10 and attached to a rod 50 which has on its; opposite ends in supports 52 and 54 is mounted. The plate 48 is parallel to the plate 34 and in its normal rest position it is located under the plate 34.
The carriers 52 and 54 of the stripping plate device 46 are articulated to the front ends of the arms 56 and 57 by means of the mutually aligned bolts 60 and 61. The rear end of the arms 56 and 57 is rigidly connected to the shaft 58, which is mounted for rotation in a frame 40 and 42 and is arranged transversely to the slide on an axis parallel to the aligned axes of the bolts 60 and 61.
A pair of auxiliary support arms 62 and 64 are hinged at their rear ends to a transverse shaft 66 in the fixed frame 40 and 42. The forward ends of the arms 62 and 64 terminate in supports 68 which are provided for engaging and receiving the lowermost carton of the stack when the carrier blade 32 is retracted.
A cam arm 70 is attached to the shaft 66 outside of the frame 42 and is in engagement with a cam roller 72 attached to the shaft 58 via an arm 74. When arms 56 and 57 are in the position illustrated in FIG. 1, cam roller 72 engages the upper straight surface 78 of cam arm 70 to retract arms 62 and 64 to the rearward position illustrated in FIG , and when the arms 56 and 57 are in the raised position shown in Fig. 3, then moves the Nok kenrolle 72 along the surface 78 to the surface 80 to the auxiliary support arms 62 and 64 in the working position according to FIG.
3-6 to support the stack below the carton base 13. Surface 78 is the steepest face of cam arm 70 and produces faster up and down movement of support arms 62 and 64 than corresponding movement of arms 56 and 57. The surface 80 causes the support arms 62 and 64 to move slowly and serves to hold the support arms in the position in which they support the stack when the arms 56 and 57 have completed their upward movement.
A shaft 82 (Figs. 1 and 2) is driven by a motor, not shown, of the separating and dispensing apparatus. A cam 84 is mounted on the shaft 82 and a rod 86 is hinged at one end 88 to the cam 84 and connected at the other end to a protruding arm 89 of the bracket 52 by a hinge 90.
A cam disk 92, which is used to determine the position of the stripping plate device 46, has a control groove 93 with an essentially perpendicularly curved section 94 and an essentially horizontally curved section 96, which is a continuation at the upper end of the vertically curved section 94. The center point of the curved section 94 is denoted by 114 and the center point of the curved section 96 coincides with the axis of the bolt 44. The carrier 52 has a roller 98 which engages in the control groove 93.
For the movement or pivoting of the support plate device 32 between the positions shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 5, a device is provided which has an arm 100 which is hinged at its upper end to the frame 40 by a bolt 102 and which with his The lower end is connected to the rods 104 and 106 by a joint 108. The rods 104 and 106 are connected to the carrier 38 and to the carrier 52 by joints 110 and 112, respectively.
The axis of the shaft 58 and the mutually aligned bolts 60 and 61 together with the roller 98 and the center 114 of the curved part 94 of the control groove form a Para'llelogram. If the stripping plate device 46 is lifted into the position shown in FIG. 3 (in the position shown with solid lines in FIG. 4), in which the roller 98 is located in the vertically curved part 94 of the control groove, the stripping plate device 46 is not pivoted but remains in the same position as shown in FIG. 1, in which the connection line through the joints 60 and 98 is parallel to the connection line from the center of the shaft 58 and the center 114.
Blade 48 remains parallel to blade 34 under these conditions.
According to FIG. 1, the center of the shaft 58 and the joint 108 together with the mutually aligned bolts 60, 61 and the joint 112 also form a parallelogram, and since the stripping device 46 does not rotate as long as the roller 98 is in engagement with the perpendicularly curved one Part 94 of the control groove is stationary, the articulation parts 108 do not move either, so that no movement is transmitted to the support plate device 32.
A gripping device 120 is provided for separating and bending the front flap 20 of the lowermost carton away from the flap of the next following flap. The device 120 has a pair of parallel arms 122 which are hinged to the frame parts 40 and 42 with bolts 124 aligned with one another. The arms 122 are connected via a rotatable shaft 126 and a joint 128 to a rod 130, which in turn is articulated via a joint 132 to an arm 134 of an angle lever 136.
The angle lever 136 is pivotable about the axis 137, and the other arm 138 of the angle lever 136 has a cam roller 140 which is held in engagement with the cam disk 84 by a spring 139. As long as the cam roller 140 is in engagement with the circular portion 142 of the cam disk 84, the Trenu device 120 is in the retracted position shown in Fig. 1 and is pivoted downwards (into a forward position as soon as the cam roller 140 on the cam 144 of the cam disk 84 runs up.
The gripping finger device 120 also has at least one finger 146 which protrudes downward from the shaft 126 and is pressed against the canton stack, or is pivoted clockwise according to FIG. 3 by a torsion spring 148. The fingers 146 are provided with stops 150 which come into engagement with the flaps 18 of the cartons in order to push away the outer transverse edge of the flap 18 of the lowermost carton.
A curved portion 152 protrudes from below the stop 150 and normally engages with the flap 18 of the lowermost carton when the finger 146 is in its rear position as shown in FIG
In operation, the cardboard stack 12 of the inclined slide 24 is held by the support plate 34 when it is in the position (shown in FIG. 4 with solid lines) for holding the cardboard stack according to FIG. Since the cartons are heavily nested, the stack is relatively rigid, and the support of the stack at the flaps by the plates 34 is therefore sufficient so that the stack leans backwards against the slide 24.
The cam disk 84 rotates clockwise according to FIG. 1 and lifts the stripping plate device 46 from the rest position (FIG. 1, dashed lines in FIG. 4) (into an intermediate position according to FIG. 3 (with solid lines in FIG. 4), in which the plate 48 contacts the lower side of the plate 34. During this movement, the stripper plate assembly 46 does not rotate, and thus the plate 48 remains par all with the plate 34. The stripper plate assembly 46 is secured against rotation by the upright portion 94 of the cam, in FIG which engages the roller 98 of the stripping plate device. During this movement of the stripping plate device 46, the carrier plate device 32 stands still.
When the two plates 48 and 34 touch, the roller 98 is at the transition point from the part 94 to the part 96 of the control cam. The hinge points 44 and 60 coincide and so do the hinge points 110 and 112.
The movement of the stripping plate device 46 from the position in FIG. 1 into the position shown in FIG. 3 produces a movement of the auxiliary support arms 62 and 64 from the lower, retracted position (FIG. 1) into the upper support position; treatment according to Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, the stack is supported by the plate 34, and the support 68 of the arm 62 remains a small amount below the bottom cardboard (Fig. 4).
As the cam disc 84 continues to rotate, the stripping plate device 46 rotates counterclockwise from the position according to FIG. 3 (clockwise according to FIG. 5) around the mutually aligned bolts 60 and 61, the roller 98 now moves essentially horizontally in the lot 96 of the control cam 93.
This movement is simultaneously transmitted in the opposite direction to the support plate device 32 via the joint 108 and the arms 104 and 106, so that the contacting plates 34 and 48 move as one unit laterally outward from the stack into a retracted, unsupportive position according to the position shown in solid lines in FIG. 5, as a result of which the released stack can lower itself onto the support 68 of the auxiliary support arms 62 and 64. When the panels 34 and 48 are retracted, the cam roller 140 engages the cam 144 of the cam 84, causing the fingers 146 to move downward and flex the leading edge of the flap 20 of the lowermost carton to the position shown in FIG .
The fingers begin moving before the panels are fully retracted, yet the stops 150 of the fingers 146 do not depress the door until the panels 34 and 48 have released the stack.
During the further rotation of the cam disk 84, the plates 34 and 48 move back into their rest position to support the stack, as shown in FIG. 5 with dashed lines and the like. penetrate into the space formed by the bent flap of the lowest box and the next box above it. In this position I, the roller 98 moves back to the transition point between the vertical and the horizontal part 94 or 96 of the control groove 93, so that with the further rotation of the cam, disk 84, the stripping plate device is brought into the position shown in FIG without the support items: 32 moving any further.
This vertical downward movement of the stripping plate means 46 engages the plate 48 with the downwardly bent flap 18 of the lowermost carton and urges its body 13 away from the lower end of the stack. The plate 48 advantageously projects up to the bending point between the flap and the body of the carton, as can be seen from FIGS. 3 and 5, in order to exert the spreading effect on a transverse edge of the body 13. The auxiliary support arms 62 and 64 move downward simultaneously with the stripping plate device, namely somewhat faster than the stripping plate device in accordance with the shape of the surface 78 of the cam arm 70.
After the blade has reached the position shown in FIG. 5 with dashed lines, the cam roller 140 runs onto the circular section 142 of the cam disk 84, so that the gripping finger arrangement 120 is moved back into the position shown in FIG.
In the retracted position of the auxiliary support arms 62 and 64 according to FIG. 1, the support 68 is under the guide rail 160, on which the released carton is placed. A suitable device can be used to advance the released carton along the guide rail 160 so that the carton container and the gripping finger device are ready for dispensing the next carton.
The plates are shaped so that recesses 34 ′ and 48 ′ along their rear edge enable the fingers 146 to engage. The stripping plate 48 is shaped between the recesses 48 'as can be seen from FIG. The pointed rear edge of the stripping plate between the recesses enables the plate to penetrate between the cells of the cardboard boxes and behind the bending point of the closure flap. Therefore, the tips are arranged along the plate edge opposite the distances between the egg cells 14 and the rounded edge of the plate on either side of the tip corresponds to the shape of the cardboard boxes.
The fingers 146 are constantly pressed against the lowermost flap by torsion springs 148, as can be seen in FIG. 4, and the curved portion 152 of each finger is shaped so that the stop of the finger is guided against the edge of the lowermost flap, to bend the flap downward, as shown in FIG.
After the invention has been described in the simplest terms, it turns out that the details of the device can be changed more or less without departing from the essence of the invention as it is defined in the appended claims.
