Fig. 2 eine Ansicht von links in Fig. 1,
Self-propelled liquid dispenser
The present invention relates to a metering device with its own power source for adding a treatment liquid to flowing water and for dispensing the mixture, advantageously under pressure, in particular for treating drinking water for large and small livestock, including poultry.
Various equipment has been proposed for introducing a fluid, including drugs, vaccines, nutrient fluids, and the like., Into a second fluid stream, e.g. B. water.
Such known devices, however, are complex in construction, unreliable in operation, cumbersome to use, unsuitable for both portable and automatic on-going installation, or lack a power source.
The metering apparatus created by the present invention comprises a self-propelled system, with a water supply line, a pump with constant displacement and a water motor of constant displacement into which the water supply line opens, and is characterized in that the pump and the motor have an outlet which opens into a drain line have flow for dispensing a metered mixture of water and an additional liquid from the motor and the pump, furthermore that a fixed tubular pump element and a secondary cylinder are arranged in the pump and a main piston is arranged in the motor, the latter being telescopically connected to the pump element, and the slave cylinder is reciprocable with the main piston.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawing. Show it:
Fig. 1 in elevation, partly in section, a case of the apparatus,
Fig. 2 is a view from the left in Fig. 1,
Fig. 3 is another view of the apparatus in Fig. 1 with certain parts in a displaced position, and
4 is an end view from the right of FIGS. 1 and 3.
The apparatus shown has the water inlet 10, the water outlet 11, the water control slide 13, the water motor 14, the reset tappet 15, the piston rod 16, auxiliary pump 17 and the treatment agent valve 18 with inlet 19 and outlet 20.
The water enters the chamber of the water control slide valve 13 through line 10 and reaches the engine block 26 via passages 27 and 28 in order to exert water pressure on alternate sides of the engine piston 29 via a channel 42 or 43. The secondary pump 17 has a piston rod 16 carried by the end face of the piston 29 and penetrates the end wall of the engine block 26. The tubular pump plunger 30 is mounted by means of an end flange 37 in the opposite wall 35 of the engine block 26 and is understood with sealing rings on both sides of the flange 37, as in Iig. 1 and 3 is shown.
The slave pump valve 18 attached to the end wall 35 contains the inlet and outlet check valves 38 and 416, the inlet connection 19 and the outlet 20. A bore 410 in the end of the piston rod 16 receives the solid tubular pump plunger 310 and the cylinder 40 works on the plunger 30 according to the movement of the motor piston 29. The piston 29 is driven by the water entering the water control slide 13, which flows through the piston 29 alternately through the channels 42 and 43, the slide over 60 and the Distribution block 39 is expelled, the latter being emptied through outlet 11.
When the piston rod 16 moves the cylinder 40 away from the pump plunger 30, treatment fluid is drawn into the treatment fluid valve 18 through the open inlet check valve 46, and at the same time the suction generated by the retraction of the cylinder 40 around the hollow lung 30 causes the outlet- Check valve 38 closed, which releases the drain into the distributor 39 when it is subsequently opened.
If the direction of movement of the pump cylinder 40 over the hollow plunger 30 is reversed while the movement of the motor piston 29 is being followed by the fixed piston rod 16, the inlet check valve 46 is closed and the outlet check valve 38 is opened so that the in the bore 30a Treatment fluid enclosed within the plunger 30 is expelled under pressure via the line 20 into the manifold 39. The water that leaves the distributor 39, for example containing an inoculation additive, is in a fixed ratio to this additive, based on the displacement volume of the auxiliary pump 17 and the volume of the motor chamber 26 on both sides of the motor piston 29.
If desired, several check valve pump assemblies can be provided which are actuated by the water motor 14. In this way, several different treatment agents or inoculants can be mixed with the water at the same time.
In the pump valve block 18, the inlet and outlet check valves 46 and 48 are accommodated. The inlet line 19 is connected to the inlet channel. The inlet check valve 46 has a deformable HothI cylinder 50 with a self-closing opening 51. The outlet non-return valve 38 has a pin 52 pressed onto the valve seat by a spring 53. An outlet channel is connected to the valve block 18 via the spring-loaded pin 52 and empties through the line 20 into the distributor 39.
The secondary pump 17 closes the piston rod
16 with a, which has the plunger 30 in the bore 40. The plunger 30 is tubular and has an inner pump channel 30a. An O-ring at the free end of the pump plunger 30 lies against the wall of the pump cylinder 40 in a sealing manner.
During the suction stroke of the pump cylinder 40, the elastic cylinder 50 of the inlet non-return valve 46 expands, whereby the passage Sil ge is opened; and the pin 52 on the outlet check valve 38 is held above the outlet opening. During the discharge stroke of the pump cylinder 40, the position is reversed, so that the pin 52 is lifted off and the passage 51 in the cylinder 50 is closed.
The water control slide 13 in the chamber 24 has two cylindrical plugs 58 and 59 and a slide 60 which is loaded by a leaf spring 61.
The flow channel 62 in the slide 60 is alternately connected to the corresponding channel 42 or 43 and the corresponding engine cylinder outlet channel 44 or 45 to direct the flow into and through the chamber 13 and the engine block 26 to alternate sides of the piston 29 and through the manifold 39 to submit.
The self-lubricating plastic slide 60, which is moved by a slide rod 70 with a loop 71, is provided for controlling the flow of the drive water into the motor 14. The piston rod 16 carries the oscillating unit 15, which has the following parts: a holder 73 rigidly attached to the piston rod 16, a rocker arm 74 pivotably held by a pin 75, a pin 76 penetrating the latter and contacting alternately spring-loaded pins 77, 78. The arm 74 passes through the loop 71 and its upper end carries an adjustable cap 79 which contacts a roller 80 which is held by a carrier 81 fastened to the upper part of the slide chamber 24.
If the piston 29 moves in the motor cylinder 26, the piston rod 16 guides the rocker arm assembly 15 with it, the rocker arm 74 between the two in FIG. 1 and 3 positions shown is pivoted ver. At the two end points of the movement path of the piston rod 16, one end of the loop 711 on the slide rod 70 comes into action and moves the latter, and thus the slide 60, into the two alternating positions.
This causes the water to flow through the channels 42, 43 leading to the two sides of the piston 29, whereby the piston 29 is shifted alternately to the two ends of the motor cylinder 26, and the secondary pump 17 is thus actuated.
In a further embodiment of the present apparatus, not shown, the rocker arm and holder can be replaced by a piece of flexible shaft which passes through the loop at the end of the slide rod and moves like a whip under the roller, thereby displacing the slide as described above.
In the embodiment shown, the two end walls 34, 35 are fastened to the motor body 26 by means of flanges penetrated by bolts, but obviously other fastening means can also be used.
The construction materials are selected according to the fluids being pumped. So z. B. in the case of a caustic or corrosive treatment agent, a pump plunger 30 made of nylon in a cylinder 40 made of glass or stainless steel, and the two check valve units 38, 46 in block 18 can be made of plastic or stainless steel. Other metals with a ceramic or plastic coating can also be used.
