Description

Exhaust air connector The invention relates to an exhaust air connector which is used for connection to air suction ducts in toilet rooms, bathrooms and apartment kitchens.
The exhaust air nozzle is characterized by at least two nozzle-like constrictions arranged one behind the other, wherein the first nozzle can be a grille.
Exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the drawing. 1 shows a perspective view of an exhaust air connector built into a wall with an air suction channel, the wall being partially cut open; 2 and 3 each show a section through built-in exhaust air connection.
In the wall 1 is the exhaust duct 2. The openings 3 are used for air extraction, z. B. toilet rooms or bathrooms. In the example according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the connecting piece built into these openings has a front nozzle 4 and a second nozzle 5 arranged behind it. The front nozzle 4 can be covered by a known grille or an air-permeable cover. The rear nozzle 5 is perpendicular to the front nozzle 4, so that the exhaust air emerges in the direction of the channel according to the arrows, which results in good air circulation.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the front nozzle consists directly of the grille 6, behind which there are three bent nozzles 7. With the rear, angled nozzle, the flow in the exhaust air duct is not blocked as usual, but even accelerated. This makes the air distribution over the individual extraction points more even. Likewise, with this flow guidance, practically no odors can pass from one connected room to another. There is also increased sound attenuation between the individual rooms connected to the same duct. If a fire breaks out in one room, it is more difficult to transfer the fire to another.
