Description

The invention relates to an exhaust air guide device for insertion into a wall opening of an exhaust air duct.

In an exhaust air duct with a round or angular cross-section, exhaust air grilles of various types are built directly into the duct wall or attached to the inlet opening of a branch duct. When an air flow is generated through the exhaust air duct, air is sucked into the duct through the exhaust air grille. Since such exhaust air ducts can be very long, for example in large halls or when exhausting over several floors, If necessary, a larger number of exhaust grilles must be installed in the duct wall at suitable intervals. Since suction is to be applied uniformly over all grilles, the grilles are equipped with throttling devices of different designs.

It is now extremely difficult to achieve uniform suction through all the air grilles installed in an air duct. In addition, the air sucked in through the exhaust air grille more or less disrupts the flow conditions in the exhaust air duct.

It is known that when a secondary air flow is introduced obliquely into the flow of an air duct, less flow disturbances and pressure losses occur. If the introduced air flows are inappropriately throttled, however, there are strong pressure losses here too, and it is often not possible with long ducts to achieve perfect pressure compensation for all exhaust air grilles.

The invention has for its object to provide an exhaust air guide device for insertion into a wall opening of an exhaust air duct, which ensures an introduction of the exhaust air with as little disturbance of the flow conditions and low pressure losses as possible and enables a favorable throttling of the exhaust air.

This object is achieved in that the exhaust air guiding device has an arched dome surface which is arranged above an open rectangular base surface and extends from a narrow side of the base surface and the two long sides of the base surface, and which is curved, trapezoidal in all planes running perpendicular to the base surface and parallel to the narrow sides thereof or forms polygonal one-piece cutting lines and their maximum slope with respect to the base area and over the entire length of the base area is the same remains between 10 ° and 45 °, and that the end face of the exhaust air guiding device, which is arranged above the one narrow side of the base surface perpendicular to the base surface, is designed as a throttling surface which has broken out in whole or in part along predetermined breaking lines running parallel to this narrow side.

The dome-shaped exhaust air guiding device according to the invention, hereinafter also referred to as exhaust air dome, is inserted into an opening in the exhaust air duct wall in such a way that the dome surface extends obliquely inwards in the direction of flow through the duct and opens downstream. The open rectangular base area of the dome can be installed either directly or preferably via an installation frame adapted to the shape of the channel wall in the wall opening of the channel, the installation frame extending around the base area assigned to the dome area essentially perpendicular to this base area and having an attachment edge .

The exhaust air dome according to the invention is a very simple to produce and just as easy to install in the openings of an exhaust air duct guide device, which can be adapted in a very simple manner to the respective flow and pressure conditions by, depending on requirements, more or less parts of the opening of the dome throttle surface partially occluding to the duct are broken away along the predetermined breaking lines. It has been found that the exhaust air dome according to the invention brings about a minimal disturbance of the flow and pressure conditions in the exhaust air duct compared to known devices and that it is in particular possible, by previously calculating the pressure losses occurring along the AL air duct Already at the factory must be used * throttle area by breaking away of parts of or the entire surface so throttle L Ellen that the suction of an exhaust channel remains approximately constant through all the exhaust air dome along. So far, it has been necessary for this purpose to carry out lengthy and difficult adjustment work on the spot at the individual openings of an installed exhaust air duct without being able to achieve the advantageous properties of a duct with the exhaust air domes according to the invention. This complicated work can be eliminated by using the exhaust air domes according to the invention.

When using an installation frame located at the foot of the exhaust air dome, an inlet grille that is usually used can also be inserted into the installation frame in a very simple manner. However, it is also possible to attach the exhaust air dome directly to a grille inserted into the opening of the duct wall. If necessary, a branch duct with inlet grille can be attached to the opening of the duct wall without being obstructed by the exhaust air guide device according to the invention.

With known exhaust air guiding devices it is not possible to adapt them to openings of different sizes in the duct wall without producing specially adapted sizes of the guiding device and keeping them in stock. In particular, the flow and pressure conditions of the channel are influenced in a rather uncontrollable manner by different sizes of the guide devices. In an advantageous and particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, two or more exhaust air guiding devices are therefore attached to one another in the same orientation, each with a long side and / or a narrow side of their base area. This modular design of the exhaust air guiding device gives the great advantage that openings of any size in the duct wall can be made with one set can be provided by the same exhaust dome, so that only a single size of the exhaust dome has to be manufactured and kept in stock. The set of exhaust air domes inserted into the opening essentially gives the same low disturbance of the flow and pressure conditions as a single exhaust air dome and can also be set in the factory to a desired extraction volume in a very simple manner by more or less extensive breaking out of the throttle surfaces.

The production of the exhaust air dome according to the invention is so simple that it can even be carried out in the workshop without special equipment. The computing effort in determining the throttle area size for the individual exhaust air dome is so small that it does not play a role compared to the elimination of the difficult adjustment work previously required for the individual exhaust air openings. In addition, as mentioned, the pressure loss occurring at the individual exhaust air domes is extremely low.

The exhaust air dome 10 shown in FIG. 1 consists of a dome surface 14 that bulges over an open rectangular base area 12, which is preferably made of sheet iron, but can also be made of aluminum, brass, V2A steel, plastic or the like. The dome surface 14 extends from the base surface 12 on the two long sides 16 and 18 and on a narrow side 2o and rises uniformly with respect to the base surface starting from the narrow side 2o to the opposite narrow side 22. Above the narrow side 22, it forms a portal-like opening 24 arranged perpendicular to the base surface 12, which can be trapezoidal according to FIG. 5 or 6 or bordered by a curved line according to FIG. 7. In principle, openings with polygonal borders can also be used, but the opening should not be rectangular, since this has an adverse effect on the flow and pressure conditions.

In the embodiment shown, the opening 24 is surrounded at the top and on the sides by a drawn-in edge 26, to which a throttle surface 28 is expediently fastened via weakened predetermined breaking lines. The throttle surface itself is crossed by several predetermined breaking lines 3o running parallel to the narrow side 22 of the base area, so that the individual fields 1, 2, 3, 4 (see FIG. 9) delimited by the predetermined breaking lines can be broken out in this order as required. In the embodiment according to FIG. 9, the largest opening of the exhaust air dome is the opening O, which is only surrounded by the edge 26. The fields 1, 2, 3, 4 of the throttle surface 28 are broken out in order from top to bottom, so that the outlet opening enlarged from top to bottom. This sequence has the advantage that the air emerging through the outlet opening formed in each case can maintain the exit angle determined by the dome surface 14 undeflected.

In the trapezoidal embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the greatest slope of the exhaust air dome lo with respect to the base area 12 has the upward-facing cover surface 32. According to FIG. 4, it includes the angle area with the base area, which according to the invention is between 10 ° and 45 °, preferably between 15 ° and 2 0 °. In the case of a curved cross section of the dome according to FIG. 7, this greatest slope would only have the surface line of the dome 10 running along the vertical central plane 34.

Ring around the base 12 is fixed to a vertically downwardly projecting from this mounting frame 36 on the Domfläche lo which carries a ur 7 parallel base surface 12 extending fastening edge 38th Installation frame 36 and fastening edge 38 can be modified depending on the cross section of the duct and the shape of the exhaust air opening into which the exhaust air dome is to be inserted. As a result, the exhaust air dome according to the invention is very easy to adapt to rectangular, round or other duct shapes.

11 schematisch angedeutet. In FIG. 1 it is also shown how, on the one hand, another narrow exhaust air dome 10 'on one narrow side 22 and, on the other hand, another on the long side 16 By assembling several similar exhaust air domes, openings of any size in the duct wall can be covered by the exhaust air dome according to the invention, only the installation frame having to be enlarged accordingly, so that it comprises all the intended exhaust air domes. Examples of placing three in series Exhaust domes lo 'and for placing three exhaust domes lo "next to one another are indicated schematically in FIGS.

Die Anbringung des Abluftgitters 48 ist somit durch den erfindungsgemäßen Abluftdom in keiner Weise behindert.FIG. 2 also shows in a schematically simplified manner how an exhaust air dome 10 according to the invention with a mounting frame 36 and a fastening edge 38 is inserted into a corresponding opening 4o in a flat wall 42 of an exhaust air duct 46 through which arrow 44 flows. An exhaust grille 48, known per se, is inserted within the mounting frame, and its edge 50 overlaps the fastening edge 38. The attachment of the exhaust air grille 48 is thus in no way hindered by the exhaust air dome according to the invention.

If, for any reason, a branch duct 52 (FIG. 3) with an exhaust air grille 48 inserted at the outer end is to be attached to the opening 40, this can also be done without hindrance by the exhaust duct 10 by simply opening the inner edge 54 of the branch duct 52 from the outside the mounting edge 38 is placed.

As can be seen from FIG. 1, planes arranged vertically on the base surface 12 and parallel to the narrow sides 20 and 22 each cut the dome surface in trapezoidal lines. Instead, as mentioned, the dome surface can also be designed such that the cutting lines are polygonal or continuously curved according to FIG. 7.
