Drive coupling on an injection pump, in particular for diesel engines The invention relates to a drive coupling on an injection pump, in particular for diesel engines, which allows the injection pump to be temporarily disconnected from the engine drive for the purpose of independent rotation of the injection pump.
In the case of injection engines and especially diesel engines, it prepares the start. Occasionally there are difficulties if, when the engine is started, there is not only the fuel but also air in the injection lines that had entered the line system, for example when the engine was switched off for a long time.
Man. has already tried to remedy this deficiency, which has a particularly unfavorable effect in cool weather, where cranking by the starter is already difficult due to the increased cranking resistance, by disconnecting the drive of the injection pump from the crank shaft of the engine and 'the injection pump initially went crazy for itself,
until the injection line system - located between the injection pump and the injection nozzles - is properly vented. A coupling is already known to carry out this uncoupling of the injection pump from the motor drive and the temporary coupling with a special, for example electric motor drive,
in which the coupling member of the particular ren arbitrary drive against a coupled opposite the injection pump shaft in the direction of rotation, but axially displaceable coupling part is pressed and this is pushed against spring force from its engagement with a hollow shaft designed as a drive shaft of the motor drive.
However, this known implementation has certain disadvantages; In particular, the camshaft of the injection pump is lengthened to form a spline shaft, which is difficult and expensive to manufacture.
The same applies to the coupling part which is displaceable on this splined shaft and which, in its relatively large axial extension, requires a high level of material expenditure.
The object of the invention is to avoid the disadvantages described and to enable the use of the usual injection pump with the usual short drive shaft stub.
The invention relates to a drive coupling on an injection pump, in particular for diesel engines, which allows the injection pump to be temporarily uncoupled from the engine drive for the purpose of independent rotation of the injection pump, with a hollow drive shaft driven by the engine and with one coupled to the injection pump in the direction of rotation. but axially displaceable coupling member,
which by axial displacement of the coupling part of the rotary drive is axially displaceable against spring force until the coupling means connected to the hollow drive shaft are disengaged from those on the coupling member.
The invention is characterized in that the hollow drive shaft of this motor drive is traversed by a longitudinally displaceable and rotatable DurchdTeh- shaft, at the coupling-side end at least one claw engaging in a drive-side groove of the disk-shaped coupling member is arranged,
this coupling member with grooves on the output side on the claws of an output part of the coupling fastened to the camshaft of the injection pump so that it is longitudinally displaceable, while a spring between the coupling,
- Disc and the output part is inserted and the mentioned coupling means are formed by claws of a drive part of the coupling fastened to the hollow drive shaft and engaging in the drive-side grooves of the coupling disc.
The coupling according to the invention consists of a few parts, and the inventive arrangement of the spin shaft inside the hollow drive shaft avoids the cumbersome reversing of the spin shaft and at the same time avoids rapid spinning, e.g. B. also by an elec tric motor, made possible.
In: the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown schematically in axial section.
A spinning shaft 2, which is used to switch off the injection pump 6 from the control of the motor, and its claws 8 in the grooves 9 of the sliding coupling part 3, passes through a hollow shaft 1 on which the driving part 4 of the clutch is firmly attached intervene, which connects the driving part 4 of the clutch with the driven part 5 of the clutch. The spring 7 is between tween the sliding coupling part 3 and the driven part 5 of the coupling of the injection pump 6 is arranged.
The driven part 5 of the clutch is fastened to the camshaft 11 of the injection pump 6 by a screw nut 10. In the position of the coupling shown, the displaceable part 3 is on the one hand with the drive-side part of its grooves 9 in engagement with claws 4 ′ of the driving part 4 and on the other hand with the driven-side part of its grooves 9 in engagement with claws 12 of the <RTI
ID = "0002.0042"> driven part 5 of the clutch. In this position the clutch is engaged.
To decouple the injection pump for venting or adjusting the pump, the rotating shaft 2 is turned against the. Pressure of the spring 7 shifted ben. As a result, the displaceable coupling part 3 is brought out of engagement with the driving part 4 of the coupling, while the driven part 5 of the coupling with the part 3 remains in engagement.
This enables the injection pump 6 to spin with the help of the claws 8 regardless of the crankshaft rotation and proper venting of the fuel pipeline between the injection pump and the injection nozzle for the purpose of perfect starting of the engine. By turning the engine further, a certain amount of fuel can be injected into the combustion chamber, which improves the starting of the internal combustion engine.
The sliding coupling part 3 returns when you release the spin shaft 2 under the pressure of the spring 7 back to the original Stel development.
Two claws 12 of the output part 5 of the coupling opposite one another with respect to the axis of rotation and the associated grooves 9 of the coupling disc with their common longitudinal center plane are arranged laterally offset by a small amount 13 with respect to the axis of rotation of the coupling.
