Fig. 5 zeigt die Lage verschiedener Teile in diesem Zeitabschnitt.
Process for the production of fabrics by means of weft threads of adjusted length and device for carrying out the process,. The subject matter of the present invention is a process for the production of woven fabrics by means of weft threads of adjusted length and with a fixed weft thread supply arranged on only one side of the warp,
according to which from at least one weft bobbin of four times the insertion length of a single weft, half of the corresponding thread pieces are removed in two successive pull-off movements and, after each pull-off movement, half of the cut thread piece is inserted into the shed of the warp by two successive wefts,
that on the side of the chain opposite the supply bobbin a normally tied edge and on the supply bobbin side an edge formed from loops as well as beginnings and ends of the matched thread pieces.
The invention also relates to a device for carrying out the method according to the invention. This device is characterized in that a weft insertion means and a pulling device are provided, which each grasp the weft thread between the bobbin and a clamping device for the first withdrawal movement and for the second withdrawal movement between the bobbin and the edge of the fabric and each pulls out to double the weft insertion length, with the two halves of the matched piece of weft thread through the first and second or
third and fourth wefts are placed in the compartment through the weft insertion means.
The drawing shows a device according to the invention for carrying out the method according to the invention with a supply reel, for example schematically, namely FIGS. 1 to 3 show the position of one half and FIGS. 4 to 6 show the position of the other half of a weft thread - Matched length during the weaving process with the respective positions of the weft insertion means.
1 denotes the warp and 2 a weft thread supply bobbin, the thread 3 of which is inserted into the shed by means of the driver 4, which in the present example is a gripper and whose length corresponds to half the warp width. The driver 4 is provided with a per se be known, not shown thread holder .11. Instead of a gripper guard, a gripper bar could also be used.
Corresponding to FIG. 1, the weft thread 3 is guided from the bobbin 2 via the brake 5 and the deflection bolt 7 to the clamping device 8, where the weft thread end is held. The thread piece withdrawn from the bobbin 2 corresponds to twice the Eintrab length of a single shot. By means of the Abziehvor device 9 (FIGS. 3 and 6), the weft thread 3 can be grasped and placed over the deflection bolt 7. The scissors 10 (Fig. 4) are used to cut the thread 3 near the clamp B.
The weaving process proceeds as follows: If the driver 4 moves from the left end position shown in FIG. 1 to the right end position according to FIG. 2, the weft thread 3 is gripped by the thread holder 11 of the driver 4 while the clamping device 8 is released at the same time and entered in the subject of the chain 1. This is done in the usual way, shed change and stop of the part of the weft thread located in the warp 1. The length of the remaining thread piece located on the right side of the warp 1 corresponds at least approximately to the chain width.
When weft from right to left (2nd weft) this thread end part is carried into the subject by the thread holder 11 of the driver 4, whereupon in the left end position (FIG. 3) of the driver 4 subject change and stop of the end thread piece takes place.
After the second shot has hit the thread 3, as illustrated in FIG. 3, is grasped by the pulling device 9 between the brake 5 and the left fabric strip and placed in the clamping device 8 via the deflection bolt 7. The part of the weft thread 3 that has now been withdrawn now runs as shown in FIG. 4. It forms the second half of the length of the thread to be inserted. Shortly before the capture of this thread part by the driver 4 in his shot from left to right, the thread 3 is cut abge in the vicinity of the clamping device 8 by the scissors 10.
The part of the weft thread 3 separated from the supply is then entered into the compartment during the weft from left to right (3rd weft) and beaten. Fig. 5 shows the location of various parts in this time period. After the subject change and the stop, the driver 4 goes from right to left (4th weft) back to its starting position and places the end of the weft thread 3 in the subject, whereupon the subject is changed and the stop occurs again.
5 and 6 from the bobbin 2 via the brake 5 to the clamping device 8 füh-generating weft thread 3 is detected by the puller 9 after completion of the 4th weft and placed over the deflection bolt 7, whereupon the thread 3 the in Fig. 1 assumes the starting position shown.
In the described weaving process, on the side of the chain opposite the supply bobbin 2, a normally tied edge is produced, while on the supply bobbin side an edge formed from loops and the beginnings and ends of the cut thread pieces is formed.
When using two weft thread supply bobbins arranged on the same side, the thread is withdrawn from the supply bobbins either before the 1st and 3rd weft for one and before the 5th and 7th weft for the other bobbin or before the 1st and 5th weft for one and before the 3rd and 7th round for the other spool.
