Chaise longue La présente invention, a pour objet une chaise longue, comprenant un cadre avant et un cadre ar rière, suspendus et articulés à un support fixe et reliés entre eux par un troisième cadre formant appuie- pied, le support fixe comportant des éléments dont les plans respectifs se croisent et des accoudoirs, arti culés auxdits éléments ainsi qu'aux cadres arrière et avant,
l'un des éléments présentant de part et d'autre des trois cadres une partie détachable par déboite- ment.
La chaise longue selon l'invention est caractérisée en. ce que ladite partie déboitable comporte une douille pivotée sur l'accoudoir et dans laquelle est engagée l'extrémité de l'autre partie dudit élément, le tout de façon que, après déboîtement de la partie détachable, on puisse replier la chaise longue.
Le, dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de la chaise longue objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 est une vue en, élévation latérale de la chaise longue de cette forme d'exécution en position pour s'asseoir, la toile étant montrée en trait mixte.
La fig. 2 est une vue arrière de cette chaise lon gue dans cette position, suivant les flèches II-II de la fig. 1, la toile étant supprimée pour faciliter la lecture.
La fig. 3 est une vue en plan de la chaise longue en position pour s'asseoir, en correspondance avec la fig. 2.
La fig. 4 est une vue analogue à la fig. 1, mais montre la chaise longue en position mi-allongée. La fig. 5 est une vue encore analogue à la fig. 1 et montre la chaise longue en position couchée.
La fig. 6 montre la chaise longue pliée en position de rangement.
La fig. 7 est une vue à plus grande échelle de la barre inférieure d'accrochage de la toile.
On. se référera aux fig. 1 à 7. Le support fixe de la chaise longue comporte deux éléments, en forme de U, dont les branches extérieures 10 et 11 sont croisées et articulées l'une sur l'autre en 12. Deux arceaux de butée 24 sont prévus aux deux coins inférieurs: du U de l'élément 10. Le support coin- prend en outre deux accoudoirs 13 articulés en 14 sur les extrémités supérieures de l'élément 10.
Aux accoudoirs sont articulées en 15 deux douilles 16 constituant des, parties détachables de l'élément 11 et s'emmanchant sur les branches latérales de l'élé ment 11 qui, à cet effet, présentent chacune une, tige 17.
Sur ce support 10-11-13 est monté l'ensemble mobile de la chaise longue qui se compose de trois cadres: un. cadre avant 18 articulé sur l'axe 14 pré cité, un cadre arrière 19, articulé à sa partie médiane sur l'axe 15 précité, tandis que le troisième 20, for mant appuie-pied antérieur en 21, est articulé en 22 sur le cadre 18 et en 2.3 sur le cadre 19.
Une toile de la chaise longue, désignée par 25, est double. Elle est attelée à une barre inférieure d'accrochage 26 fixée de façon réglable au cadre 20. Cette barre 26 (fig. 7) présente un téton 27 à une extrémité, tandis qu'un chapeau 28 muni d'un téton 29 coiffe plus ou moins profondément l'autre extré- mité de cette barre. Les tétons 27 et 29 sont enfon cés dans un des trous d'une rangée de trous 40 du cadre 20. La barre peut être maintenue en place ou ôtée par écartement ou rapprochement du chapeau 28.
La toile 25 issue de la barre 26 passe sur une barre 30 qui est fixée au cadre 18 d'une façon régla ble -ou non. Puis la toile 25 passe dans une fente 31 d'un appuie-tête 32. Celui-ci est monté pivotant en 33 à l'extrémité supérieure du cadre 19.
Une baguette de blocage 34 est enfilée derrière la fente 31 dans un ourlet transversal de la toile choisi parmi plusieurs ourlets définis par des coutures transversales. Cette baguette 34 bloque la toile sur l'appuie-tête 32 dans la position désirée en vue de régler la longueur et la tension de la toile pour modifier la résistance dans un mouvement de bascule et à l'arrêt.
Puis la toile 25 est ramenée vers l'avant où elle forme une boucle terminale dans laquelle un coussin repose-tête 35 est destiné à être enfilé.
Les bords longitudinaux des deux parties super posées de la toile sont cousus ensemble entre la barre d'accrochage 26 et un point 36 qui est situé entre la barre de retour 30 et l'appuie-tête 32.
Au-delà de ce point 36, les deux parties de la toile sont séparées. L'une, supérieure, 25a remonte librement jusqu'à l'appuie-tête, tandis que l'autre, inférieure, 25b pré sente un, ourlet dans lequel est enfilé un organe de retenue, par exemple sous forme d'une barre amovi ble 37 s'étendant derrière le cadre 19. Au-delà de la barre 37, la partie 25b rejoint la partie 25a vers l'appuie-tête 32.
Il est à noter qu'un coussin peut être enfilé entre les deux parties de toile qui s'éten dent en 38 entre la barre 30 et le point 36, en étant introduit par l'entrée que constitue ce point 36.
Lorsque la chaise longue est déployée en service avec les douilles 16 emmanchées sur les tiges de l'élé ment 11, l'usager reposant sur la toile 25 peut placer les parties mobiles de la chaise en toute position plus ou moins allongée d'équilibre stable en prenant appui sur les accoudoirs 13 et sur la partie 21 du cadre 20 formant appuie-pied.
Dans la position assise (fig. 1), les arceaux 24 forment une butée pour le cadre 19 et empêchent tout recul de celui-ci. Dans cette position, la barre 37 enfilée dans l'ourlet de la partie 25b de la toile prend appui derrière le cadre 19 et provoque une tension sur la région de la toile formant siège qui donne à cette région une forme sensiblement plane de soutien beaucoup plus confortable qu'une forme nettement incurvée. Par ailleurs,
la partie 25a de la toile prend une forme de congé qui accroît encore le confort.
Dans les positions intermédiaires (fig. 4) et dans la position: couchée (fig. 5), la barre 26 est déplacée sur le cadre 20 en.
laissant à la toile un profil plus ou moins incurvé qui présente le plus grand confort dans de telles positions. Dans la position couchée (fig. 5), la barre 30 forme une butée pour le cadre 20 et empêche celui-ci de remonter davantage. L'opération. de repliement de la chaise longue en vue du rangement est particulièrement simple et ra pide.
On. se place derrière la chaise, on tire le cadre 19 vers le haut, ce qui déboîte les douilles 16, puis on pousse le haut du cadre 19 vers l'avant, ce qui fait reculer le cadre 20. L'ensemble de la chaise s'af faisse suivant une épaisseur très réduite telle qu7illus- trée à la fig. 6. L'opération de remontage s'effectue en sens inverse et est aussi rapide.

We. refer to fig. 1 to 7. The fixed support of the lounge chair has two U-shaped elements, the outer branches 10 and 11 of which are crossed and hinged to one another at 12. Two stop arches 24 are provided at both ends. lower corners: of the U of element 10. The corner support also takes two armrests 13 articulated at 14 on the upper ends of element 10.
The armrests are articulated in two sockets 16 constituting, detachable parts of the element 11 and engaging on the side branches of the element 11 which, for this purpose, each have a rod 17.
On this support 10-11-13 is mounted the mobile unit of the lounge chair which consists of three frames: one. front frame 18 articulated on the aforementioned axis 14, a rear frame 19, articulated at its middle part on the aforementioned axis 15, while the third 20, for mant anterior footrest at 21, is articulated at 22 on the frame 18 and in 2.3 on frame 19.
A canvas of the lounge chair, designated 25, is double. It is coupled to a lower hooking bar 26 fixed in an adjustable manner to the frame 20. This bar 26 (FIG. 7) has a stud 27 at one end, while a cap 28 provided with a stud 29 covers more or less. less deeply at the other end of this bar. The studs 27 and 29 are driven into one of the holes in a row of holes 40 of the frame 20. The bar can be held in place or removed by spacing or bringing together the cap 28.
The fabric 25 coming from the bar 26 passes over a bar 30 which is fixed to the frame 18 in an adjustable manner - or not. The fabric 25 then passes through a slot 31 of a headrest 32. The latter is pivotally mounted at 33 at the upper end of the frame 19.
A locking strip 34 is threaded behind the slit 31 in a transverse hem of the fabric chosen from among several hems defined by transverse seams. This rod 34 locks the fabric on the headrest 32 in the desired position in order to adjust the length and tension of the fabric to modify the resistance in a rocking motion and when stationary.
Then the canvas 25 is brought forward where it forms an end loop in which a headrest cushion 35 is intended to be threaded.
The longitudinal edges of the two overlapping parts of the canvas are sewn together between the hooking bar 26 and a point 36 which is located between the return bar 30 and the headrest 32.
Beyond this point 36, the two parts of the canvas are separated. One, upper, 25a rises freely to the headrest, while the other, lower, 25b has a hem in which is threaded a retaining member, for example in the form of a removable bar. ble 37 extending behind the frame 19. Beyond the bar 37, the part 25b joins the part 25a towards the headrest 32.
It should be noted that a cushion can be threaded between the two parts of canvas which extend at 38 between the bar 30 and the point 36, being introduced through the entry that this point 36 constitutes.
When the lounge chair is deployed in service with the sockets 16 fitted onto the rods of the element 11, the user resting on the canvas 25 can place the movable parts of the chair in any more or less extended position of stable equilibrium by resting on the armrests 13 and on the part 21 of the frame 20 forming the footrest.
In the seated position (FIG. 1), the arches 24 form a stop for the frame 19 and prevent any retreat of the latter. In this position, the bar 37 threaded into the hem of the part 25b of the fabric is supported behind the frame 19 and causes a tension on the region of the fabric forming the seat which gives this region a substantially flat shape of much more support. comfortable than a sharply curved shape. Otherwise,
the part 25a of the fabric takes a form of leave which further increases the comfort.
In the intermediate positions (fig. 4) and in the position: lying down (fig. 5), the bar 26 is moved on the frame 20 in.
leaving the canvas a more or less curved profile which offers the greatest comfort in such positions. In the lying position (Fig. 5), the bar 30 forms a stop for the frame 20 and prevents the latter from rising further. The operation. folding the lounge chair for storage is particularly simple and quick.
