Abstract

Reclining chair comprising a seat 2 fitted with legs 11 which join at a point forming a hinge 13 positioned above the actual seat 2, a back 3 connected using a pair of hinged units 4 to the seat 2 in question, armrests 14 inserted in an adjustable position between the back 3 and the hinge 13 positioned above the seat 2 and means 13A, 14, 15, 16, 25, 26 allowing the position of the back 3 to be adjusted in relation to the seat 2, characterised in that the back 3 can be inclined until it is in a completely folded-down position forming a plane parallel to the plane of the seat 2.
