Verpackung einer geformten Portion eines plastischen Nahrungs- oder Genussmittels
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Verpackung einer geformten Portion eines plastischen Nahrungsoder Genussmittels, wie zum Beispiel Schmelzkäse, Speisequark, Speiseeis oder dergleichen. Solche verpackte Portionen können dadurch hergestellt werden, dass das plastische Gut entweder formlos in eine mit einem Hüllblatt ausgelegte Verpackungszelle eingefüllt oder als Formstück auf einen flachliegenden Verpackungszuschnitt aufgelegt wird, worauf die Verpackungshülle durch Umlegen der Hüllblattenden um das plastische Gut geschlossen wird.
Sowohl eine in warmem Zustand eingefüllte Schmelzkäseportion als auch ein unter dem Gefrierpunkt verpackter Speiseeiskörper wirkt sich ausserordentlich günstig auf die Dichtigkeit der Verpackung aus, da einerseits der warme Käseinhalt den thermoplastischen Klebstoff zwischen den Verpackungslagen besonders stark aktiviert, anderseits der gefrorene Speiseeiskörper selbst keine Flüssigkeit nach aussen treten lässt, so dass auch die Verpackung in beiden genannten Fällen dicht und sauber bleibt. Ein wesentlicher Nachteil solcher Verpackungen besteht darin, dass die Blatteile der Verpackungshülle das plastische Gut derart dicht umschliessen, dass die zur Entnahme des plastischen Gutes freizulegenden Flächenteile der Verpackungshülle sich nur sehr umständlich und zeitraubend und trotzdem nur unvollkommen vom plastischen Gut ablösen lassen.
Der praktische Wert eines Aufreissfadens, welcher zur Überwindung dieses Übelstandes bisher zur Anwendung gekommen ist, ist insofern unbefriedigend, als der Aufreissfaden zwar abgezogen werden kann, ohne jedoch die Verpackungsteile selbst ausreichend vom plastischen Gut abzulösen. Es bleibt nichts anderes übrig, als mit Hilfe eines Messers die Verpackungsteile mehr oder weniger sauber zu entfernen, bevor das plastische Gut entnommen werden kann.
Erfindungsgemäss werden diese Nachteile und überstände dadurch beseitigt, dass zwischen dem plastischen Gut und der Verpackungshülle eine vorzugsweise gegenüber der Verpackungshülle aus widerstandsfähigem und reissfestem Material bestehende Schablone eingebettet liegt, deren wenigstens teilweise mit Kanten des umhüllten Gutes übereinstimmender Umriss bei gleichzeitiger Mitnahme eines dem Schablonenumriss entsprechenden Flächenteils der Verpackungshülle von der Oberfläche des plastischen Gutes ablösbar ist.
Aus der Vielzahl der möglichen Anwendungsbeispiele der Erfindung sind im folgenden zwei verschiedene Schmelzkäseverpackungen mit den dazugehörigen Schablonen beschrieben und anhand der Zeichnung näher erläutert.
Es zeigen:

Fig. 5 das Käseviereck im Querschnitt nach Linie 5-5 in Fig. 4.
Die zum Beispiel aus einer Metallfolie bestehende Verpackungshülle 1 umgibt in bekannter Weise ganz dicht das Käsestück 2. Eine etwa der Grundfläche des Käsestücks 2 entsprechende Schablone 3 liegt zwischen der Käsemasse 2 und der Verpackungshülle 1. Gegenüber der an sich sehr dünnen und biegsamen Folienhülle 1 ist die Schablone 3 aus einer stärkeren und daher widerstandsfähigeren Metalloder Kunststoffolie hergestellt. Selbstverständlich lässt sich auch ein entsprechend präparierter Karton verwenden, sofern er gegen Feuchtigkeit und Klebung unempfänglich, selbst aber geruch- und geschmacklos gemacht worden ist.
Ihrer Stärke-wegen ist der Umriss der Schablone 3 durch die Verpackungshülle 1 hindurch fühlbar. Das Freilegen des umhüllten Gutes zwecks Entnahme kann so vor sich gehen, dass an einer beliebigen Stelle des Umrisses die über den Rand der Schablone 3 gespannte Verpackungshülle 1 mit dem Fingernagel so weit eingeritzt wird, bis ein Zipfel der Schablone 3 mit der darüberliegenden Verpackungshülle 1 zwischen Daumen und Zeigefinger gefasst werden kann.
Beim Abbiegen und Vorbewegen der Schablone 3 in Richtung auf die dem bereits gefassten Zipfel entgegengesetzte Seite der Schablone 3 verläuft die Trennlinie der Verpackungshülle 1 genau nach dem Schablonenumriss. Dabei ist es ohne Bedeutung, ob die Schablone 3 an der Verpackungshülle 1 bzw. am plastischen Gut festgeklebt ist oder nicht.
Ebenso wie eine Fläche des Käsestücks 2 können auch mehrere benachbarte Flächen desselben von einer Schablone bedeckt sein. Wie Fig. 4 zeigt, bietet die Verwendung einer die viereckige Grundfläche eines Käsestücks 6 bedeckende Schablone 7 einschliesslich der damit verbundenen, die Seitenwände bedeckenden Schablonenteile 7a und 7b eine überaus einfache und bequeme Handhabung des freigelegten Käsestücks 6 insofern, als die gesamte Oberfläche mit Ausnahme der Bodenfläche des Käsestücks 6 frei zugänglich ist.
Die strichpunktierte Stellung zeigt die Schablone 7 mit ihren Teilen 7a und 7b in der vom Käsestück 6 abgelösten Flachlage.
Selbstverständlich kann die eine Grundfläche des Käsestücks 2, 6, gegen die die Schablone 3, 7 anliegt, wie bekannt, mit einem Etikett 4, 8 versehen werden, so dass an dieser Stelle von innen nach aussen die Schablone 3, 6, die Verpackungshülle 1, 5 und dann das Etikett 4, 8 aufeinanderliegen.
Packaging of a shaped portion of a plastic food or luxury item
The invention relates to a packaging of a shaped portion of a plastic foodstuff or luxury product, such as, for example, processed cheese, quark, ice cream or the like. Such packaged portions can be produced by either filling the plastic material informally into a packaging cell lined with a wrapping sheet or placing it as a shaped piece on a flat packaging blank, whereupon the packaging sleeve is closed by folding the wrapping sheet ends around the plastic material.
Both a portion of processed cheese filled in while warm and an ice cream body packaged below the freezing point have an extremely beneficial effect on the tightness of the packaging, since on the one hand the warm cheese content activates the thermoplastic adhesive between the packaging layers to a particularly high degree, and on the other hand the frozen ice cream body itself does not leak any liquid can occur, so that the packaging remains tight and clean in both cases mentioned. A major disadvantage of such packaging is that the sheet parts of the packaging cover enclose the plastic material so tightly that the surface parts of the packaging cover to be exposed for removal of the plastic material can only be detached from the plastic material in a very cumbersome and time-consuming manner, and yet only incompletely.
The practical value of a tear-open thread, which has hitherto been used to overcome this drawback, is unsatisfactory in that the tear-open thread can be pulled off without, however, sufficiently detaching the packaging parts themselves from the plastic material. There is nothing left but to remove the packaging parts more or less cleanly with the help of a knife before the plastic material can be removed.
According to the invention, these disadvantages and protrusions are eliminated by the fact that between the plastic item and the packaging sleeve there is embedded a template, which is preferably made of resistant and tear-resistant material compared to the packaging sleeve and whose outline at least partially corresponds to the edges of the enclosed goods while at the same time taking along a surface part corresponding to the template outline the packaging sleeve can be detached from the surface of the plastic item.
From the large number of possible application examples of the invention, two different processed cheese packagings with the associated templates are described below and explained in more detail with reference to the drawing.

The packaging sleeve 1, which consists for example of a metal foil, surrounds the piece of cheese 2 very tightly in a known manner. A template 3 corresponding approximately to the base area of the cheese piece 2 lies between the cheese mass 2 and the packaging sleeve 1. Opposite the very thin and flexible film sleeve 1 is the template 3 made of a stronger and therefore more resistant metal or plastic film. Of course, a suitably prepared cardboard box can also be used, provided it is impervious to moisture and sticking, but has itself been made odorless and tasteless.
Because of its strength, the outline of the template 3 can be felt through the packaging sleeve 1. The uncovering of the wrapped goods for the purpose of removal can be done in such a way that at any point on the outline the packaging sleeve 1 stretched over the edge of the template 3 is scratched with the fingernail until a tip of the template 3 with the packaging sleeve 1 above it is between The thumb and forefinger can be grasped.
When the template 3 is bent and moved forward in the direction of the side of the template 3 opposite the already grasped tip, the dividing line of the packaging sleeve 1 runs exactly according to the template outline. It is irrelevant whether the template 3 is glued to the packaging sleeve 1 or to the plastic material or not.
Just like one surface of the piece of cheese 2, several adjacent surfaces of the same can be covered by a template. As Fig. 4 shows, the use of the square base of a piece of cheese 6 covering template 7 including the associated, the side walls covering template parts 7a and 7b offers a very simple and convenient handling of the exposed piece of cheese 6 insofar as the entire surface with the exception of Bottom surface of the piece of cheese 6 is freely accessible.
