Montre-bracelet à couvercle coulissant On connaît des montres-bracelets ayant un boîtier rectangulaire et présentant un couvercle coulissant qui recouvre normalement la glace de protection et peut être déplacé à volonté à l'encontre de deux ressorts. Ces montres sont d'une construction compliquée en ce qui concerne le guidage du couvercle, guidage qui est assuré par des glissières rapportées sur le boîtier.
La présente invention a pour objet une montre- bracelet à couvercle coulissant dans laquelle le couvercle et ses organes de guidage sont conçus de manière à simplifier considérablement la fabrication du boîtier.
Cette montre-bracelet est caractérisée par le fait que le couvercle a une section transversale en forme générale d'arc et que ses bords longitudinaux sont engagés dans des rainures de guidage, qui retiennent le couvercle, ménagées chacune dans le flanc extérieur d'un rebord longitudinal de la carrure flanquant la fenêtre de la glace de protection, un ressort à boudin, maintenant le couvercle fermé, étant intercalé entre une paroi d'extrémité du couvercle et un organe de butée.
Le dessin ci-joint montre, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de la montre-bracelet selon l'invention.
La fig. 1 en est une vue en élévation, dans laquelle la partie droite du couvercle est coupée selon le plan longitudinal médian de la montre.
La fig. 2 est une coupe selon la ligne II-II de la fig. 1, et la fig. 3 une vue, en coupe, d'un détail à plus grande échelle. La montre-bracelet représentée comprend un bo"i- tier rectangulaire composé d'une carrure 1 et d'un fond 2 emboîté dans cette carrure. A sa partie supérieure, la carrure 1 présente deux rebords longitudinaux 9 flanquant la fenêtre dans laquelle est engagé le verre de protection (non représenté).
Aux extrémités du boîtier sont fixés deux plots creux 3, qui re- çoivent les extrémités des deux branches rigides arquées (non représentées) qui sont articulées à ces plots et soumises à l'action de ressorts qui tendent à fermer l'une vers l'autre ces deux branches.
Dans le flanc extérieur de chaque rebord 9 est creusée une rainure longitudinale 8, dans laquelle pénètre un listel 7' formé à l'intérieur du bord longitudinal d'un couvercle 7 dont la section transversale est en forme générale d'arc surbaissé. La rainure 8 et le listel 7' ont de préférence une section de forme triangulaire (voir détail de la fig. 3). Le couvercle 7 recouvre légèrement les extrémités des plots 3.
Pour maintenir le couvercle en position de fermeture, un ressort à boudin 5 est engagé d'une part sur une cheville 6 plantée dans une paroi d'extrémité 10 du couvercle 7 et d'autre part traverse un trou 4 ménagé dans une paroi extrême 3' du plot 3 opposé et vient buter contre le fond d'un trou borgne foré à l'intérieur de ce plot. Ce ressort 5 pourrait venir buter contre l'extrémité de la branche rigide articulée au plot 3.
Lorsqu'on désire lire l'heure, on repousse d'un doigt le couvercle 7 contre l'action du ressort 5 qui ramènera le couvercle en position de fermeture dès qu'on le lâche. En position de fermeture, la paroi 10 du couvercle vient buter contre l'autre plot 3.
La réalisation de la rainure 8 et du listel 7' est

très facile ; le travail peut être fait à la fraise, les deux rainures du boîtier pouvant être réalisées simultanément.
Le couvercle peut avoir une section transversale arquée en forme de ligne brisée. Le couvercle peut être lisse ou décoré.
L'invention est applicable aussi aux montres-bracelets dans lesquelles le bracelet est formé par un lien souple dont les extrémités sont fixées aux plots.

Wristwatch with sliding cover Wristwatches are known which have a rectangular case and have a sliding cover which normally covers the protective glass and can be moved at will against two springs. These watches are of a complicated construction with regard to guiding the cover, which guidance is provided by slides attached to the case.
The present invention relates to a wristwatch with a sliding cover in which the cover and its guide members are designed so as to considerably simplify the manufacture of the case.
This wristwatch is characterized by the fact that the cover has a cross section in the general shape of an arc and that its longitudinal edges are engaged in guide grooves, which retain the cover, each formed in the outer flank of a rim longitudinal part of the middle flanking the window of the protective glass, a coil spring, keeping the cover closed, being interposed between an end wall of the cover and a stop member.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the wristwatch according to the invention.
Fig. 1 is an elevational view thereof, in which the right part of the cover is cut along the median longitudinal plane of the watch.
Fig. 2 is a section along the line II-II of FIG. 1, and fig. 3 a sectional view of a detail on a larger scale. The wristwatch shown comprises a rectangular case composed of a caseband 1 and a back 2 fitted into this caseband. At its upper part, the caseband 1 has two longitudinal edges 9 flanking the window in which is engaged. the protective glass (not shown).
At the ends of the housing are fixed two hollow studs 3, which receive the ends of the two arcuate rigid branches (not shown) which are articulated to these studs and subjected to the action of springs which tend to close one towards the other these two branches.
In the outer flank of each flange 9 is hollowed out a longitudinal groove 8, into which penetrates a listel 7 'formed inside the longitudinal edge of a cover 7, the cross section of which is in the general shape of a lowered arc. The groove 8 and the listel 7 'preferably have a triangular-shaped section (see detail in FIG. 3). The cover 7 slightly covers the ends of the studs 3.
To keep the cover in the closed position, a coil spring 5 is engaged on the one hand on a pin 6 planted in an end wall 10 of the cover 7 and on the other hand passes through a hole 4 made in an end wall 3 'of the opposite stud 3 and abuts against the bottom of a blind hole drilled inside this stud. This spring 5 could abut against the end of the rigid branch articulated to the stud 3.
When it is desired to read the time, the cover 7 is pushed back with a finger against the action of the spring 5 which will return the cover to the closed position as soon as it is released. In the closed position, the wall 10 of the cover abuts against the other stud 3.

very easy ; the work can be done with a milling cutter, the two housing grooves can be done simultaneously.
The cover may have an arcuate cross section in the form of a broken line. The cover can be smooth or decorated.
The invention is also applicable to wristwatches in which the bracelet is formed by a flexible link, the ends of which are fixed to the studs.
