Mouvement de boîte à musique La présente invention a pour objet un mou vement de boîte à musique comprenant une platine portant un tambour porte-goupilles actionné rotativement par un ressort logé dans un barillet, ce tambour étant pourvu d'une roue dentée actionnant, par l'intermédiaire d'orga nes de transmission, une vis sans fin, caracté risé par le fait que la tige de cette vis sans fin porte une armature pourvue d'au moins un bras, l'une des extrémités de celui-ci étant des tinée à s'écarter de l'axe de la vis sans fin sous l'action de la force centrifuge résultant de la rotation de cette dernière, et à venir frotter contre une surface de freinage pour freiner le mouvement du tambour porte-goupilles.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du mouve ment objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 en est une vue en plan ; la fig. 2 est une vue en coupe à échelle agrandie de l'une des extrémités de la tige de la vis sans fin ; et la fig. 3 est une vue en bout d'une pièce du mouvement.
Le mouvement de boîte à musique repré senté comprend une platine 1 portant un cla vier 2 et un tambour porte-goupilles 3 dont l'arbre 4 est actionné rotativement au moyen d'un ressort logé dans un barillet 5. Le tambour 3 est pourvu d'une roue dentée 6 entraînant, par l'intermédiaire d'un pignon 7, d'une roue dentée 8, d'un pignon 9 et d'une roue dentée 10, une vis sans fin 11 ; l'une des extrémités de la tige de cette dernière est mon tée sur un flasque 12 fixé sur la platine 1 ; l'autre extrémité de la tige 11 est portée par un carter 13 vissé sur la platine 1.
La tige 11 possède une portée 23 sur la quelle est engagée, à frottement dur, une ar mature 14 de forme générale cylindrique pré sentant un épaulement 15 et deux fraisures ra diales longitudinales 16 ; l'une des extrémités de chacune de celles-ci aboutit à une échan crure 17 servant de logement à un bout 18 d'un bras 19 correspondant; les bras 19 sont disposés dans les fraisures 16 et portent cha cun, à leur autre bout, un frottoir 20 destiné à venir en contact avec la paroi intérieure 21 du carter 13.
L'armature 14 porte un manchon en laiton 22 assurant son blocage sur la portée 23, et les fraisures 16 présentant un plan médian com mun passant par l'axe de la tige 11.
Le mouvement représenté fonctionne comme suit Lorsque le tambour porte-goupilles 3 est actionné par l'arbre 4, il entraîne rotativement, par l'intermédiaire de la roue 6, du pignon 7, de la roue 8, du pignon 9 et de la roue 10, la vis sans fin 11 ; cette dernière entraîne rotati- vement l'armature 14 et les bras 19 qui, sous l'effet de la force centrifuge résultant de ce mouvement, pivotent sur leur bout 18 et s'écartent de l'axe de la vis 11 ; les frottoirs 20 viennent alors en contact avec la paroi inté rieure du carter 13 et freinent le mouvement de la vis 11, et par conséquent celui du tam bour 3.
Il est prévu de monter un seul bras sur l'armature 14.
Music box movement The present invention relates to a music box movement comprising a plate carrying a pin holder drum rotatably actuated by a spring housed in a barrel, this drum being provided with a toothed wheel actuating, by the 'intermediary of transmission organs, an endless screw, characterized in that the rod of this endless screw carries a frame provided with at least one arm, one of the ends thereof being tinée moving away from the axis of the worm under the action of the centrifugal force resulting from the rotation of the latter, and coming to rub against a braking surface to slow the movement of the pin holder drum.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the movement which is the subject of the invention.

The represented music box movement comprises a plate 1 carrying a keyboard 2 and a pin holder drum 3, the shaft 4 of which is rotatably actuated by means of a spring housed in a barrel 5. The drum 3 is provided with a toothed wheel 6 driving, via a pinion 7, a toothed wheel 8, a pinion 9 and a toothed wheel 10, a worm 11; one of the ends of the rod of the latter is mounted on a flange 12 fixed on the plate 1; the other end of the rod 11 is carried by a casing 13 screwed onto the plate 1.
The rod 11 has a bearing surface 23 on which is engaged, with hard friction, a mature rear 14 of generally cylindrical shape having a shoulder 15 and two longitudinal radial countersinks 16; one of the ends of each of these ends in a notch 17 serving as a housing for one end 18 of a corresponding arm 19; the arms 19 are arranged in the countersinks 16 and each carry, at their other end, a wiper 20 intended to come into contact with the inner wall 21 of the housing 13.
The frame 14 carries a brass sleeve 22 ensuring its locking on the bearing surface 23, and the countersinks 16 having a common median plane passing through the axis of the rod 11.
The movement shown works as follows When the pin-holder drum 3 is actuated by the shaft 4, it drives rotatably, through the wheel 6, the pinion 7, the wheel 8, the pinion 9 and the wheel 10, the worm 11; the latter rotatably drives the armature 14 and the arms 19 which, under the effect of the centrifugal force resulting from this movement, pivot on their end 18 and move away from the axis of the screw 11; the rubbers 20 then come into contact with the inner wall of the casing 13 and slow down the movement of the screw 11, and consequently that of the drum 3.
It is planned to mount a single arm on the frame 14.
