Dispositif pour entraîner le tambour porte-goupilles d'une boite à musique. La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif pour entraîner le tambour porte- goupilles d'une boîte à musique, comprenant, adaptées sur un flasque, une roue dentée mo trice et une roue dentée d'entraînement fixée sur l'axe portant la vis sans fin destinée à actionner ledit tambour, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte, constamment en prise avec la roue motrice, une roue dentée bala deuse destinée à venir en engagement, d'une part,
avec la roue que porte l'axe muni de la vis sans fin, pour un sens de rotation de la roue motrice et, d'autre part, avec une roue de transmission, pivotée au flasque sus mentionné, en prise avec ladite roue d'en traînement, pour l'autre sens de rotation de la roue motrice, le tout étant réalisé de ma nière que le tambour porte-goupilles soit tou jours actionné dans le même sens quel que soit le sens de rotation de la roue motrice.

Le dispositif représenté comprend une manivelle 1 dont l'arbre 2 qu'elle est destinée à entraîner est adapté à pivotement à un flasque na, façonné de manière à présenter deux parties parallèles 4 et 5, réunies par une partie 6 qui leur est perpendiculaire. A l'arbre 2, sur la partie 4 du flasque 3, est fixée une roue dentée 7 qui est constam ment en prise avec unie roue dentée baladeuse 8; cette dernière est destinée à venir en enga gement soit avec une roue dentée d'entraîne ment 9, soit avec une roue dentée de trans mission 10, constamment en engrènement avec ladite roue 9.
A cet effet la roue 8, que porte la partie 4 du flasque 3, est munie d'un axe 11, dont l'une des extrémités est susceptible de se déplacer dans une coulisse 12 de ladite partie 4 et possède une plaque d'arrêt 13.
L'axe 14 de la roue 9 est muni d'une vis sans fin 15 destinée à actionner une roue dentée 16 que porte un tambour porte-gou- pilles 17 agissant sur le clavier 18 de la boîte à musique.
L'axe 19 de la roue 10 est pivoté à la. partie 4 susmentionnée qui porte également la roue 9.
Le dispositif représenté fonctionne comme suit: Lorsque la. manivelle 1 et l'axe 2 sont entraînés dans le sens de la flèche 20, la roue 8, constamment en prise avec la roue 7, est déplacée par cette dernière de façon à engrener avec la roue 9 et à faire tourner celle-ci dans un sens déterminé, ainsi que l'axe 14; lorsque la manivelle 1 est entraînée en sens inverse de la flèche 20, la roue 8 est déplacée par la roue 7 et vient en 21 où, tournant en sens inverse du cas précédent, elle entraîne la roue 10 qui., à son tour, ac- tionne la roue 9 et l'axe 14 dans le même sens déterminé que précédemment.
Il en résulte que le sens de rotation de l'axe 14 et par conséquent du tambour porte- goupilles 17 est toujours le même quel que soit celui de la manivelle 1.

The device shown comprises a crank 1, the shaft 2 which it is intended to drive is adapted to pivot to a flange na, shaped so as to have two parallel parts 4 and 5, joined by a part 6 which is perpendicular to them. To the shaft 2, on part 4 of the flange 3, is fixed a toothed wheel 7 which is constantly engaged with the united toothed wheel 8; the latter is intended to come into engagement either with a drive toothed wheel 9, or with a transmission toothed wheel 10, constantly in engagement with said wheel 9.
For this purpose the wheel 8, which is carried by part 4 of the flange 3, is provided with an axis 11, one of the ends of which is capable of moving in a slide 12 of said part 4 and has a stop plate 13.
The axis 14 of the wheel 9 is provided with a worm 15 intended to actuate a toothed wheel 16 carried by a pin holder drum 17 acting on the keyboard 18 of the music box.
The axis 19 of the wheel 10 is pivoted at the. part 4 above which also carries wheel 9.
The device shown operates as follows: When the. crank 1 and axis 2 are driven in the direction of arrow 20, the wheel 8, constantly in engagement with the wheel 7, is moved by the latter so as to mesh with the wheel 9 and to rotate the latter in a determined direction, as well as axis 14; when the crank 1 is driven in the opposite direction of the arrow 20, the wheel 8 is moved by the wheel 7 and comes to 21 where, rotating in the opposite direction to the previous case, it drives the wheel 10 which, in turn, ac - Moves the wheel 9 and the axis 14 in the same direction determined as previously.
It follows that the direction of rotation of the axis 14 and consequently of the pin holder drum 17 is always the same regardless of that of the crank 1.
