Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 306382. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines kupferhaltigen Disazofarbstoffes. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sieh auf ein. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines kupferhalti gen Disazofarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeich net, dass man 1 Mol der Tetrazov erbindung von 4.4'-Diamino-3.3'-dimethoxydiphenyl mit 1. Mol 1-Oxy-naphthalin-3.6-disulfonsäure und 1 Mol 1-Oxy-naphthalin-4-sulfonsäure verei nigt und den so erhaltenen Farbstoff mit Kupfer abgebenden Mitteln behandelt.
Beispiel: 21,8 kg 4.4'-Diamino-3.3'-dimethoxydiphe- nyl werden in der üblichen Weise in Salzsäure gelöst und unter Eiskühlung durch langsames Zulaufenlassen einer wässerigen Lösung von 13,8 kg Natriumnitrit tetrazotiert. Zu der, nötigenfalls filtrierten, Tetrazolösung lässt man bei 0 eine überschüssiges Natriumcarbo- nat enthaltende Lösung von 30,4 kg 1-Oxy- riaphthalin-3.6-disttlfonsäure laufen und rührt einige Zeit,
bis sich der Zwischenkörper ge bildet hat und die Tetrazoverbindung nicht mehr nachweisbar ist. Dann gibt man eine neutrale Lösung von 23 kg 1-Oxynaphthalin- 4-sulfonsäure hinzu, rührt einige Zeit weiter und führt die Bildung des Disazofarbstoffes durch Zugabe von Natronlauge zu Ende. Der Farbstoff wird durch Anwärmen, Neutrali sieren mit Salzsäure und Zugabe von Stein salz abgeschieden und filtriert.
Zwecks Überführung in die Kitpferkom- plexverbindung löst man die Parbstoffpaste in etwa 5000 1 Wasser, fügt eine Mischung aus etwa 52,5 kg Kupfersulfat kristallisiert, gelöst in etwa 200 1 Wasser und 120 1 Ammo- niakwasser (Dichte 0,93), hinzu und rührt etwa 24 Stunden bei 90-95 in geschlossenem Gefäss mit Rückflusskühler. Es tritt starker Geruch nach Methylamin auf. Nach Beendi gung der Kupferkomplexbildung wird der Farbstoff durch Aussalzen mit Steinsalz ab geschieden.
Der so erhaltene Farbstoff bildet nach dem Trocknen ein dunkles wasserlösliches Pulver und färbt Baumwolle und Polyamidfasern in rotstichig blauen Tönen. Der Farbstoff besitzt ein sehr gutes Ziehvermögen und sehr gute Löslichkeit. Die Färbungen sind sehr licht echt.

To convert it into the kitpfer complex compound, dissolve the paraffin paste in about 5000 liters of water, add a mixture of about 52.5 kg of crystallized copper sulfate, dissolved in about 200 liters of water and 120 liters of ammonia water (density 0.93), and add stir for about 24 hours at 90-95 in a closed vessel with a reflux condenser. There is a strong odor of methylamine. After completion of the copper complex formation, the dye is deposited by salting out with rock salt.
The dye thus obtained forms a dark, water-soluble powder after drying and dyes cotton and polyamide fibers in reddish blue tones. The dye has very good drawability and very good solubility. The colors are very light-fast.
