Fig. 7 und8 zeigen in schematischen Ver tikalschnitten noeh zwei weitere Ausführungs formen der Anlage.

Process for heating a container by means of heating steam and system for carrying out this process. According to the present invention, there is a method for heating a container by means of heating steam, which is generated in an evaporator in that a heating current is passed through the liquid and the heating steam is directed to a condensation point, where it condenses under _N, # 'heat output .
The invention consists in that the condensate is fed back to the evaporator using a special return line that contains a throttle device, in such a way that a column of liquid is formed in the return line, the level of which is exposed to the same vapor pressure ,
such as the liquid level in the evaporator and its height is decisive for the amount of condensate flowing back into the evaporator per unit of time. A system for carrying out this process with a liquid immersed in liquid, which can be placed under voltage, the containing evaporator, from which the generated steam is led via a steam pipe to a condensation space in which the steam can condense to heat a container, and with a special condensate drain line from your condensation chamber into the evaporator,
whereby the liquid in the return line is exposed to the same pressure as the liquid in the evaporator, is characterized in that a throttle device is installed in the condensate return line, which causes the liquid level in the return line to be higher than in the evaporator, which level difference is decisive is the amount of condensate flowing back into the evaporator per unit of time.
The subject of the invention is described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings, for example.
The drawing shows: FIG. 1 in a schematic vertical section an embodiment of the system and FIG. 2 shows a working diagram of the FIG. 1 shows a schematic section through another embodiment of the system and FIG. 4 shows an enlarged partial view along the line 4-4 in FIG. 3 3, FIG. 5 shows a schematic section of a third embodiment of the system -Lind FIG. 6 shows a working diagram of the one in FIG. 5 > shown system.
Fig. 7 and 8 show two further embodiments of the system in schematic vertical sections.
In FIG. 1, a container 11 for food to be cooked is inserted into a casing 12 so that a closed steam room 14 is formed. The steam supply line 15 from the evaporator 16 opens into this steam space under the high-arched middle part of the container bottom in such a way that the condensate can be seen around UM ( read tube 15 settles on the bottom of the jacket 1-1 and not directly. can flow back through tube 15 to the evaporator while the outflow of Steam from the evaporator can always take place unhindered.
t 'Zn The pipe 1.5 here has the same cross-section as the evaporator vessel 16 , but it could also be substantially dimensioned.
Two electrodes 17 are inserted in the evaporation vessel 16 , which are connected to an alternating voltage source 19 via conductors 9 . The two bushing insulators 290 secure the insulation, the conductor 9 -.- egen- over the wall of the evaporator 16 .
A pipe opens into the bottom of the Verdanipfer 16 , in which a tap 35 and an exchangeable or adjustable throttle valve 36 are inserted and that for the pipe piece 22 leads. A vertical Kolidensaträel # -, IlLissrohr 21 opens into the bottom of the jacket 12 and into the Rolirstüek '212, which is connected by a riser pipe 30 to an equalization vessel 31 .
During operation, this line 21 is the only line that is in open connection with the latter below the liquid surface level in the evaporator. A deeper -eleyenes compensation vessel IN ' is connected to the riser pipe 30 via the line 32 in which a shut-off valve 34 is installed . These A-ih, - # p_ # leiehs.gefüsse each have a cross-sectional area that is larger than that of the pipe 30.
A drain line 23, in which a tap 25 is built-in, opens laterally above the base of the jacket housing 12 and a line 24 in which a tap 25 > 26 is installed, opens into the evaporator 16 . The taps 25 and 26 can be operated together from the same operating riff 27 , which is indicated by the action line 28 </ B> is indicated.
At the upper edge of the boiler room 14, a 'Cberdruekveiitil 29 is built in, which can be opened by hand to let air out when heating.
To start up the system, first of all the taps 25, 26 and ä5 are opened and the tap 34 is closed. Heating fluid, n preferably water, is poured into the similar vessel 31 until it flows out of the line 24. Then the tap 35 is closed and further liquid is poured in, 3 n e, until liquid also flows out of the line 23 .
Now no more liquid is fed and the lines 23 and 24 are blocked by actuators and fland reefs '27 . After switching on the current and opening the shut-off halin 35 you will soon see a (.'leieb, - ewielits7ustiiiid, which corresponds to the liquid level shown,
by taking effect of the level difference a between rooms 14 and 16 temporally as much condensate from the line, 21-22 via the throttle point 36 into the evaporator 16 </ B> flows back as it evaporates in the evaporator under the effect of the current flowing through the liquid between the electrodes 17 and is condensed on 1, # - oelibeliäl.part # 14.
The mirror. The column of liquid that forms in the conduit is exposed to the same vapor pressure as the liquid level in the evaporator, and the height a of this column is decisive for the amount of condensate flowing back into the evaporator per unit of time.
When the temperature of the Koeh-Lttes in the container 11 approaches the Danipftempe- ratur, see the condensation in space 14 and the steam pressure in this space increases. This pressure acts on the liquid surface in the spaces 14 and 16 and causes liquid to escape via the vertical pipe 30 into the evacuation vessel 31,
while the liquid is expelled from the space 1-1 through the pipe 21 to level b. The vapor pressure in space 14 then corresponds to a column of liquid from hell c, that is, the level difference between the liquid in tube 21 and in the open top vessel 31. The Vermin - derungy of the height difference a between the fluid nilveaux in the spaces 14 and 16 to c len value
b has a connection via the throttle point 35 as a result of which it is achieved that the liquid level in the evaporator 16 drops, the electrodes 17 </ B > So immerse yourself less deeply in the lead fluid and the steam generation is reduced.
Because the liquid reverse flow into the evaporator 16 is slowed down under the action of the throttle point 36 , there are no intermittent level changes in the evaporator to be feared.
The mode of operation of the system described is explained better with reference to FIG. 2, which shows two curves, one of which, P, the electrical power converted in the evaporator 16 in kW (ordinate) as a function of time (abscissa), while curve T indicates the temperature in the heating space 14 in Co (ordinate) also as a function of time.
The switching on of the current and the opening of the halin 35 correspond to the time value 0.
In the first phase fa, the level in the evaporator 16 rises so that the converted heat output of the evaporator quickly rises to the maximum value d . The end of the beginning, phase fa corresponds to the equilibrium state shown in FIG. 1.
During the period f the temperature l ' increases evenly in the boiler room 14, so that the steam pressure in this room also rises very little,' which results in a very small reduction in the heat output P.
When the temperature T approaches the maximum value V, the vapor pressure in the room 14 increases very rapidly (reduction of the X-ondensation), and the electrical power in the evaporator 16 drops during a relatively short period Duration g to a greatly reduced value e.
As long as the Halin 35 remains open, i.e. during the time i, the conditions no longer change, i.e. the cooking oil remains at the temperature V and continues to cook 'leiehmi ässin - , and the burned energy remains at the value e. C If the shut-off valve 35 is on,
# c-is closed, no more condensate can flow back into the evaporator 16 , and the liquid level in the evaporator falls during the time k under the electrodes 17 , so that afterwards no more electricity can flow.
The electrodes are designed so that they are only partially immersed in liquid and that the throttle device 35 allows a liquid flow through the condensate return line 21 into the evaporator 16 in such an amount per Unit of time allows the electrodes to never be completely submerged in the body of liquid when operating in a predetermined voltage range.
The maximum achievable vapor pressure in room 14 and thus also the maximum temperature V of this room is determined by the height of the equalization tank oil. It is possible to reduce these maximum values by opening the Halin 34, whereby the liquid in the riser pipe 30 escapes into the lower-lying vessel 33 .
It can be seen that the condensate return line 21 forms part of a liquid seal between the upper part of the condensation space 14 and the storage vessel 31, which liquid seal has two branches for liquid columns that can have the same surface level.
In FIGS. 3 and 4, which represent a different embodiment, those components which have the same functions as components in FIGS. 1 are given the same reference numbers, but with the index a.
The system shown comprises a liquid container 38 of a washing machine 39, in which container 38 a sieve drum 40 for receiving laundry is rotatably mounted. The container 38 is provided with a removable cover 41. The bottom of the water container 38 is curved downwards in a semicircular cross section, and the housing jacket 12a is arranged approximately parallel to the container bottom at a distance from the same, so that the closed vapor space or condensation space between these two surfaces 14a is formed. In the lowest part of the housing jacket 12a opens the steam pipe 15a of the evaporator 16a.
The evaporator 16a is also provided with two electrodes 17a, which are connected to the voltage source 19a via the conductors 9a passed through the bushing insulators 20a ″. The liquid contained in the evaporator 16a, into which the electrodes Immerse 17a, the resulting steam is divided into two bursts of steam by the distribution line 42 arranged transversely to the drum axis in the steam space 14a and directed to the bottom of the container 38 ,
that the formed condensate. cannot flow back through the Rolir 15a to the evaporator 16a. A Riielzlaufleitung 21a and a level regulator line 23a are introduced into the condensate chamber, the latter containing a shut-off valve 25a, the actuating element 227a of which also acts on the valve 26a, which is built into the line 24v laterally opening into the evaporator 16a.
The condensate drain line 21a opens into a pipe leg 22a, which contains a shut-off device 35a and a throttle device, and opens into the bottom of the evaporator 16a. On the pipe 22a there is the vertical pipe 30 anaesehlosseii, which leads to the equalization vessel 31a, which is arranged in the upper part of the washing machine 39 .
A filler neck 43 for this equalization vessel is closed with a cover 44 in such a way that this equalization vessel is always connected to the free atmosphere.
The actuation, 's- t' - organ -15 for the shut-off device 35a in the line 22a, is arranged above the washing basin for better accessibility and acts via the connection 46 on this - # , bsperror, -an a.
Before reaching a significant excess pressure in the vapor space 14a, the level-lid difference between the liquid levels in the condensation space and in the evaporator remains unchanged at the value a, and he, # t when the liquid in the container ä8 the Steam temperature V reached, that is, if not all of the supplied steam continues while condensation is taking place, the liquid increases in the Steigrolir 30a and decreases in the return pipe 21a,
like that in the description of the figure. 1 and 2 has been explained, the maximum attainable vapor pressure value being determined by the altitude of the outlet, leielist1), efässc # s 31a. As with r, 'iy. 1 has been described, the level difference a, which is decisive for the temporal amount of condensate return flow into the evaporator, is reduced and the level in the evaporator 16a drops, so that the electrodes 17a are correspondingly less deep in the liquid. immersion, thereby reducing the generation of panpipes.
It should also be noted that the throttle device 36a is set up in such a way that it allows liquid to flow into the evaporator 16a in a number of times (#ii - '# ti-iiiiiiiiin ") at a time can be vaporized per unit of time.
By closing the shut-off valve 35a, the return flow of condensate to the evaporator 16 is blocked, and the generation of steam stops completely.
In Wasehniasehinen it is often the aim to reach the boiling temperature of the orphan liquid, but the washing liquid in the container 38 should have a maximum temperature of about 85-900 C > do not exceed.
A thermostat 47, which is connected to the container 38, can be designed for this purpose in such a way that it automatically reduces or switches off the voltage at the power source 19a when the washing liquid has reached the frewünselite temperature.
In Fi # -. 3 another variant is indicated. Instead of the rising line 30a, which connects the balancing line 31a with the return line 21a-22a in a coordinating manner, a line 48 can open into the uppermost parts of the coiling, sation area 1.4a, which permanently connects this condensation area with the free Atmosphere connects.
In this case, in the heating-up phase, all of the steam formed is condensed on the bottom of the container 38 and as condensate in the evaporator 16a ziii.-üel, -fliesseii, while when it is reached - the steam temperature through the Waseli liquid contained in the container 38, practically all of the steam formed escapes through the guide 48 into the price, or is possibly only condensed in the expansion vessel 31a.
As long as the liquid level in the condenser 14a does not decrease significantly, the electrical power converted in the evaporator 16a remains practically unchanged with the electrode voltage unchanged.
The heating system shown in FIG. 5 also works according to this principle.
The container to be heated is labeled 11b, (read the jacket housing with 12b and the condensation chamber with 14b. The evaporator 16b contains the electrodes 17b, those through the insulators 20b guided conductor 9b are put under tension.
The steam that is formed reaches the bottom of the container 11b via the pipe 15b, and the condensate cannot escape through the pipe 15b to the evaporator 16b, but only via the return line 21b. 22b, in which the shut-off device ä5b and the throttle device 36b are installed.
The throttle device 36b is designed in such a way that it flows liquid g in such an amount per unit of time through the condensate return line 21b into the evaporator 16b lets flow back,
that the surface level of the liquid in the evaporator is maintained almost unchanged at a point located between the upper and lower ends of the electrodes 17b, as long as almost all of it is in the condensation chamber. 15b conducted steam is condensed.
The lines 23b and 24b with the jointly actuatable shut-off valves 25b and 26b are used, as in the embodiment example according to FIG. 1, to fill in the necessary amount of water, whereby the handle 27b of the tap 25b also acts on the tap 26leg via the connection 28b .
The line 49, which is connected to the filling funnel 50 which is exposed to the free atmosphere, opens into the uppermost part of the condensation chamber 14b.
The difference a between the liquid level in the condensation space 14b and the liquid level 18b in the evaporator 16b 'determines the amount of condensate flowing back into the evaporator f6, a per unit of time so that the converted electrical power is evaporated at least as long as not a substantial part of the heating fluid is gone.
In the diagram according to FIG. 6, which corresponds to FIG. 2, the electrical power curve is also designated by P and the temperature curve of the container 11b by T.
When the system is put into operation, the converted electrical power increases very quickly to the maximum value d and remains unchanged until the tap 35b is closed after the 'heating-up period f becomes. Because no more condensate can flow back into the evaporator 16b afterwards, the power converted gradually drops to 0. </ B during the boiling period k > The temperature of the container T, accordingly does not rise to the full steam temperature v, but reaches a value w after the tap 35b is closed.
If the tap 35b is not closed after a temperature of about 80-900 has been reached in the container 11b, a large part of the added steam no longer condenses, but instead flows out into the open without increasing pressure.
As a result, there would gradually be a noticeable reduction in the amount of liquid, which would then reduce the performance set over time. However, a gradual reduction in the output under the effect of a pressure increase in the condensation space 14b cannot be achieved here.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 7, means are provided by which as much liquid is automatically fed back to the condensate return line as is escaping from the condensation space 14c as vapor.
The two electrodes 17c are arranged in the evaporator 16c and are energized via conductors 9c . The steam formed is conducted through the pipe 15c to the distributor pipe 42e and from its ends to the condensation space 14e, which is formed by the bottom of the container 38c for a washing drum 40e Bowie, the jacket 1, '2c.
The condensate cannot flow back through the pipe 15c to the evaporator, but instead flows through the pipe 21c to the spreader 52 whose outflow 36e is formed as a throttle point and through the shut-off element 35c can be closed.
Steam outlet holes 51 are arranged around the upper edge of the condensation space 14b. The shut-off element ö5c can be operated via the rod 55 from the handle 56 .
The liquid flowing out of the reservoir 52 through the throttle point 36c flows to the bottom of the evaporator 16e. into the reservoir 52 a - \ water supply line 5ö opens, a float-operated inlet valve 54 ensuring that the water level in the reservoir 52 always remains constant. The air space of the storage tank 52 is connected to the free atmosphere via the opening 57 .
Because the reservoir communicates with the condensation room 14e via the line 2le and, when the tap 305c is open, the amount of water flowing back into the evaporator 16e per unit time is solely due to the throttling effect of the device 36c and the level difference a is determined, this level difference always remains unchanged, so that after the increase, the converted electrical power also remains unchanged at the distance d, from FIG. 6,
until the organ 35c is closed.
To start up the system, tap 35e is opened.
The embodiment according to FIG. 8 corresponds to the design of the evaporator 16d with the electrodes 17d, the Danip pipe 15d, the steam distribution line 42d ″ of the condensation space 14d., the jacket 12d and the container to be heated 38d with the washing drum 40d largely corresponds to the object of FIG. 7. </ B> Also here is a memory 52d,
provided with a water inflow under the action of a float valve 54d, a throttle device 136d and a shut-off element 35d , the element 35d </ B> is operated via the rod 55d from the Handliebel 56d .
The water flowing out of the Speklier 5.2 (1 via the throttle device 36d flows via the line 229 to the bottom of the evaporator 16d.
On the other hand, the condensation space 14r1 is not in free connection with the atmosphere. Rather, an overpressure valve 60 is inserted in the housing jacket, through which steam can escape from the space 14d when a predetermined pressure is exceeded, and an air inlet valve allows air to re-enter when the system cools down.
Another difference compared to FIG. 7 is that the Rüekiluss- LeitLing 21d which connects the space 14 (1 with the) memory 52d until it is pulled down to about the level of the bottom of the evaporator.
I Z, When the system is started up, the pipe 21d is completely filled with water, and water flows into the halin 35d near the hole eten evaporator 16d. The electrodes 17d are immersed deeper and deeper in the water, so that the converted electrical power increases.
The developed Diinipf condenses on the bottom of the container 38d and flows back into the reservoir 52d , where you will soon see a ('borrowed figure T with the Nivea lid difference a.
When the liquid in the container 38d reaches the steam temperature in the space 14d, the condensation is reduced and the pressure in the steam room 14d increases. As a result, the # Vassei # mirror in the pipe 21d falls in relation to the mirror in the storage tank 52d. The arrow height c corresponds to the vapor pressure seen in room 14d, right.
So while on the water in the evaporator 16d the full pressure dee; Raunies 1-ld acts, only the atmospheric pressure acts on the water in storage 52d , so that only the difference ac = b for the flow of water through the throttle direction 36d is decisive,
so that the C n per unit of time in the evaporator 16d is less flowing water. z # This lowers the level in the evaporator until a new Cfleielioewews, -, 7ii-, tand is reached, n so that the converted electrical power. 1-in, & , falls to a lower value.
The working diagram of the system according to FIG. 8 thus corresponds in principle to FIG. 2.
It is possible, in the carrion form. According to Fig. 8, the valves 60 and 61 through small holes of about 1 mm 0 </ B> züi replace.
When the incidents are heated up in the room 14 (1), these Lik-Iier let out enclosed air and the oxyhydrogen gas formed during operation, with steam naturally also escaping, especially towards the end of the heating-up period. Since the holes are small , but the loss of steam is relatively small,
where there is a certain overpressure, so that the unused power, as previously described, is automatically reduced at a higher temperature.
If the electrical connection regulations are such that the electrodes 17d must not be live when the evaporator is not in operation, an electromecha can be used instead of the shut-off valve 35d - Niselies Ste-Liergerät be provided, which is connected to the switch for the heating current in such a way that the water valve 35d is opened when the switch is turned on and that the water valve is blocked,
when the switch is turned off. The mechanical actuating members 55d are removed. The control device is mounted, for example, directly on the cover of the accumulator 52, 1 containing the seliwimm valve 54d.
A coin-operated machine can possibly be used. In such a case, the heating current remains on during the entire operation. The water supply to the steam generator is controlled by the coin-operated machine and the switch connected in series with it.
