Conformément à l'in- @-ention, cet.
Prefabricated element. The object of the invention is a precast, hollow and elongated element capable of being used as a formwork to facilitate the subsequent installation of the reinforcements before the concrete is poured into the element, once the latter has been put in place. .
The hollow element according to the invention is of the known type comprising a bottom and flat side walls. as well as a series of transverse reinforcements interconnecting said side walls. In accordance with the intention, this. element presents a free passage on the mowing. width and the entire length of the element, at least in the part of it itself subjected to traction and capable of receiving the longitudinal reinforcements and the concrete which is to coat them.
He can. be used in the same or be filled with unreinforced concrete in certain parts of the work not subject to. significant loads, or more especially as formwork for resistant and reinforced assemblies to which it is incorporated.
In this case, the user is no longer limited as regards the span by the inherent length of the prefabricated elements, since these elements considered as formwork can be arranged one after the other to reach the desired length, the resistance. strength of the assembly obtained being ensured by the longitudinal reinforcements and the filling concrete. These elements therefore facilitate the construction of reinforced concrete beams and ribs; they are particularly suitable for the execution of floors in which they play the role of formwork.
The drawing represents, by way of example, some embodiments of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of part of an element with partial cut away of a side face showing the internal arrangement of said element.
Fig. 2 shows a construction part obtained by means of the elements of FIG. 1.
Fig. 3 is a view similar to FIG. 1 of a variant of an element.
Fig. 4 is a view of a use of the elements of FIG. 3.
According to the embodiment illustrated by FIG. 1, the element has the shape of a very elongated trough, with flat walls, in which the side faces 1 and 2 are joined from place to place by transverse partitions 3 carefully perforated at 4 during manufacture in the vicinity of the bottom 5 of the element to allow free communication of the. tensioned zone the working reinforcements must be placed normally under tension.
The continuity of the compressed zone through the series of cells making up the element is ensured by the recess of the upper edge of the partitions 3, in a concave arc 6 in the drawing. Partitions 3 are. intended to ensure the rigidity of the element whose own resistance, essential for its use as is, is also obtained by the establishment, during the. manufacture, of a light reinforcement 7 embedded in the side faces and can be linked by brackets 8 embedded in the partitions 3. It should be noted that depending on the use of the element, this reinforcement is involved in the calculation of resistance of all.
One can easily see one of the uses of this. element for example for the construction of a reinforced beam. After setting up a number of elements corresponding to. the length of the beam. to be constructed and after having properly arranged the necessary reinforcements, the cells formed by the side faces and the transverse partitions are filled with concrete. This concrete coats the iron bars and together with them ensures the bond, resistance and monolithism of the assembly obtained.
In fig. 2, there is at 9 the entire element, as shown in FIG. 1, and in 10 the same element after installation of three metal rods, including. two, 11, working properly at the tension in the normally tensioned part, and the other, 12, placed in the concave arch relieving the compression ratio of the concrete.
Between these two elements 9 and 10, normally arranged with the upper face open at the top to allow filling with concrete and intended to constitute the resistant assemblies of the construction after installation of the reinforcements and filling with concrete, two other elements, 13 and 14, are juxtaposed flat. They are, in this case, used without the addition of iron bars or concrete infill and only play a formwork role in the kind of floor slabs on which can be poured a concrete thickness of 15 to make up the possible difference in height. tor.
In the embodiment of FIG. 3, the rigidity is ensured by solid parts 16, which are the partitions 3 of FIG. 1 reduced in height to the profit. of their width taken in the longitudinal direction. The voids 17 between these solid parts 16 allow the channel thus obtained to be filled, which in this case absorbs the tensioned and compressed areas of the element.
Likewise, a projection 18, provided lengthwise at the lower part of the lateral faces of the element, facilitates the laying of slabs with a known pattern.
It should be noted that these slabs could just as easily rest on the upper edge of the side faces, a ceiling in this case being hung under the elements by any means.
Fig. 4 shows a use of the element as represented in FIG. 3, which can be seen at 19 after placing the iron bars 20 and filling with concrete. Slabs 21 come to rest on the projections 18 and are sealed to the element by concrete 22. The two embodiments described above among several others are not, moreover, mutually exclusive. . It is perfectly permissible to use the element of fig. 1 as a support.
from slabs to floor and vice versa the elements in fig. 3 can. apply to the uses described with reference to fig. 2.
These elements can be made of concrete or any other aggregate by any suitable mechanical means.
