  <B>Zusatzpatent</B>     zum    Hauptpatent Nr. 272569..    <B>Verfahren zur Darstellung</B> eines     Stilbenfarbatoffes.       Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist  ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines neuen       Stilbenfarbstoffes,    welches dadurch gekenn  zeichnet ist, dass man     4,4'-Dinitrostilben-2,2'-          disulfonsäure    mit     4-Metliylamino-2-methoxy-          2'-oxy    - 5'- chlor -1,1' -     azobenzol    -     3'-sulfonsäure     kondensiert und das Kondensationsprodukt  mit kupferabgebenden Mitteln in den Kupfer  lack     überführt.     



  Der neue Farbstoff stellt getrocknet ein  dunkles Pulver dar, das sich in konzentrierter  Schwefelsäure mit blauer Farbe löst und auf  Baumwolle ein gut lichtechtes Grauviolett  färbt.  



       Beispiel:     37,2 Teile des     Aminoazofarbstoffes,    her  gestellt durch Kuppeln von     diazotierter        2-          Amino-4-chlor-l-oxybenzol-6-sulfonsäure    auf       -Methylamino-3-methoxybenzol    in saurer Lö  sung, werden mit 47,4 Teilen     4,4'-dinitrostil-          ben-2,2'-disulfonsaurem    Natrium in 600 Tei  len Natronlauge von     51/o    durch achtstündiges  Kochen kondensiert. Der Farbstoff wird       clnreh        Aussalzen    und Abstumpfen der Natron  lauge gefällt und hierauf abgesaugt.

      Der feuchte Filterküchen des Farbstoffes  wird in etwa 2000 Teilen Wasser heiss gelöst;  zu dieser Lösung gibt man     ammoniakalische          Kupfersulfatlösung    entsprechend 25 g Kup  fersulfat     krist.    und erhitzt dann einige Stun  den auf 90 bis<B>950.</B> Die Kupferverbindung des  Farbstoffes wird dann     ausgesalzen,        abfiltriert     und     getrocknet.     



  Der neue Farbstoff stellt getrocknet ein  dunkles Pulver dar, das sich in konzentrierter  Schwefelsäure mit blauer Farbe löst und auf  Baumwolle ein gut lichtechtes Grauviolett  färbt.

       Example: 37.2 parts of the aminoazo dye, made by coupling diazotized 2-amino-4-chloro-1-oxybenzene-6-sulfonic acid to methylamino-3-methoxybenzene in acidic solution, are mixed with 47.4 parts of 4, 4'-dinitrostilben-2,2'-disulfonic acid sodium in 600 parts of 51 / o sodium hydroxide solution condensed by boiling for eight hours. The dye is precipitated by salting out and blunting the caustic soda and then filtered off with suction.

      The damp filter kitchen of the dye is dissolved in about 2000 parts of hot water; ammoniacal copper sulfate solution corresponding to 25 g of crystalline copper sulfate is added to this solution. and then heated for a few hours to 90 to 950. The copper compound of the dye is then salted out, filtered off and dried.



  When dried, the new dye is a dark powder that dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a blue color and dyes a light-fast gray-violet on cotton.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines neuen Stilbenfarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 4,4'-Dinitrostilben-2,2'-disulfonsäure mit 4-Methylamino-2-methoxy-2'-oxy-5'-chlor- 1,1'-azobenzol-3'-sulfonsäure kondensiert und das Kondensationsprodukt mit kupferabge benden Mitteln in den Kupferlack überführt. Der neue Farbstoff stellt getrocknet ein dunkles Pulver dar, das sich in konzentrier ter Schwefelsäure mit blauer Farbe löst und auf Baumwolle ein gut lichtechtes Grauvio lett färbt.
