Appareil pour café express. La présente invention concerne un appa reil pour café express qui est spécialement destiné à l'usage domestique.
Ledit appareil est caractérisé par une chaudière qui a la forme d'un socle sur lequel est destinée à être posée une cafetière, par une tête distributrice solidaire de la chau dière et soutenant un porte-filtre amovible, le centre de ladite tête distributrice se trouvant au-dessus de la chaudière sur une ligne ver ticale passant par le centre de la chaudière.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution préférée de l'appareil pour café express selon l'invention et une variante.
La fig. 1 représente une coupe en éléva tion d'un appareil pour café express.
La fig. 2 donne une vue extérieure laté rale du porte-filtre monté sur la tête distri butrice.
La fig. 3 donne une vue de dessus de l'ap pareil représenté à la fig. 1.

En se référant aux figures du dessin: 1 est une chaudière cylindrique présentant un évi dement circulaire 2 pour une cafetière 3; 4 est un bras venu de fonderie avec la chaudière et est courbé vers l'extérieur, de manière à. permettre de loger la cafetière; 5 est une tête distributrice solidaire du bras 4; elle est. for mée par un élargissement de celui-ci et se trouve au-dessus de la chaudière. Cette tête distributrice porte à sa partie supérieure un appui pour le distributeur 6 à fond perforé 7 servant de distributeur d'eau chaude qui est amenée par le tube 8 au-dessus du fond 7; 9 est un couvercle qui, serré par des écrous 10, ferme la tête distributrice 5 et la chambre d'eau 11; l'eau chaude débouche de l'extré mité 8a. du tube 8 dont l'autre extrémité 8b est posée sur le fond de la chaudière.
Le centre de figure 0 de la chaudière 1 se trouve sur la ligne verticale passant par le centre de la tête distributrice et aussi par l'ajutage 12 du porte-filtre 13 muni du manche 14 en matériel isolant, et portant le filtre 15 avec la charge de café; le porte-filtre 13 est muni d'oreilles 16 diamétralement opposées, péné trant par des encoches 17, également diamé tralement opposées et creusées dans le rebord circulaire 18 à l'intérieur de l'évidement 19 de la tête distributrice 5. Le porte-filtre 13 peut être monté dans la tête distributrice 5 par le dessous à l'aide du système à baïon nette.
Sur la partie extérieure du bras 4 se trouve une embouchure filetée 20 dans la quelle est vissé un bouchon 20a à garniture étanche.
Comme on le voit sur la figure, l'appa reil présente. la plus grande stabilité. La cafe tière 3 sert de mesure pour le remplissage de la chaudière à travers l'embouchure 20. L'eau provenant de la chaudière par le petit tuyau 8 et se répartissant par le fond perforé 7 vient se répandre sur la charge de café et en extrait l'arôme qu'elle vient dé verser sous forme de breuvage dans la cafe tière 3 en passant par l'ajutage 12. Le café se conserve tout le temps chaud dans la cafe tière posée sur la chaudière de base 1, lors qu'on chauffe la chaudière.
L'appareil peut servir à faire autant de rations de café que le permet la quantité d'eau disposée dans la chaudière. L'eau peut également remonter dans le bras creux 4.
Dans le trou fileté 21 ménagé sur le de vant de la chaudière 1 est vissée la pièce 22 formant soupape; 23 est un cône portant sur un siège conique 24 ,et appuyé par un ressort 25; 26 est la tige de la soupape et traverse avec un certain jeu le disque de fermeture de celle-ci, 27. De cette façon, une surpression intérieure produit un jet de vapeur (soupape de sûreté). 20 est une embouchure de rem plissage qui peut être bouchée par le bouchon 20a en matière isolante.
En se reportant à la fig. 5, on voit qu'une soupape de sûreté 31 est incorporée au bou chon 30, mais fonctionne essentiellement de la même façon et dans le même but que la soupape 22 de la fig. 1. On a, en outre, mo difié la, tête distributrice en introduisant le couvercle indépendant 32 muni d'un trou avec garniture pour séparer hermétiquement la chambre de vapeur 34 de la chambre à eau chaude 35 et éviter que le distributeur 36 soit traversé par la vapeur. Pour bien réussir le café, il faut qu'il ne soit traversé que par de l'eau chaude.
Le couvercle indépendant 32 porte -une joue 32a à sa partie inférieure; des vis 37 appuient cette joue sur la garni ture 38 et, par suite, également sur l'anneau élastique 39. 40 est la chambre qui contient le filtre et l'anneau élastique 39 est pressé par celle-ci. La garniture 38 est de matériel élastique et elle sert à rendre étanche le cou vercle 32.

Said apparatus is characterized by a boiler which has the form of a base on which a coffee maker is intended to be placed, by a dispensing head integral with the boiler and supporting a removable filter holder, the center of said dispensing head being above the boiler on a vertical line passing through the center of the boiler.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, a preferred embodiment of the espresso coffee machine according to the invention and a variant.

Referring to the figures of the drawing: 1 is a cylindrical boiler having a circular recess 2 for a coffee maker 3; 4 is an arm from the foundry with the boiler and is bent outwards, so as to. allow to house the coffee maker; 5 is a distributor head integral with the arm 4; she is. formed by an enlargement of it and is located above the boiler. This dispenser head carries at its upper part a support for the dispenser 6 with a perforated bottom 7 serving as a hot water dispenser which is brought by the tube 8 above the bottom 7; 9 is a cover which, tightened by nuts 10, closes the dispensing head 5 and the water chamber 11; the hot water emerges from the end 8a. tube 8, the other end 8b of which is placed on the bottom of the boiler.
The center of figure 0 of the boiler 1 is located on the vertical line passing through the center of the distributor head and also through the nozzle 12 of the filter holder 13 provided with the handle 14 of insulating material, and carrying the filter 15 with the load of coffee; the filter holder 13 is provided with diametrically opposed ears 16, penetrating through notches 17, also diametrically opposed and hollowed out in the circular rim 18 inside the recess 19 of the dispensing head 5. The holder filter 13 can be mounted in the distributor head 5 from below using the net bayon system.
On the outer part of the arm 4 is a threaded mouth 20 in which is screwed a plug 20a with leaktight seal.
As seen in the figure, the device is present. the greatest stability. The coffee maker 3 serves as a measure for filling the boiler through the mouth 20. The water coming from the boiler through the small pipe 8 and distributing itself through the perforated bottom 7 is spread over the load of coffee and in extracts the aroma that it comes to pour in the form of a beverage into the coffee maker 3 through the nozzle 12. The coffee is kept hot all the time in the coffee maker placed on the base boiler 1, when the boiler is heated.
The appliance can be used to make as many rations of coffee as the quantity of water in the boiler allows. Water can also rise in the hollow arm 4.
In the threaded hole 21 made on the front of the boiler 1 is screwed the part 22 forming the valve; 23 is a cone bearing on a conical seat 24, and supported by a spring 25; 26 is the stem of the valve and passes through the closing disc thereof with a certain clearance, 27. In this way, an internal overpressure produces a jet of steam (safety valve). 20 is a filling mouth which can be plugged by the plug 20a of insulating material.
Referring to fig. 5, it can be seen that a safety valve 31 is incorporated into the plug 30, but functions essentially in the same way and for the same purpose as the valve 22 of FIG. 1. We have, moreover, modified the distributor head by introducing the independent cover 32 provided with a hole with gasket to hermetically separate the steam chamber 34 from the hot water chamber 35 and prevent the distributor 36 from being crossed. by steam. For successful coffee, it must only be crossed by hot water.
The independent cover 32 carries a cheek 32a at its lower part; screws 37 press this cheek on the trim 38 and, consequently, also on the elastic ring 39. 40 is the chamber which contains the filter and the elastic ring 39 is pressed by it. The gasket 38 is of elastic material and it serves to seal the cover 32.
