La présente invention permet de remédier à l'in convénient indiqué ci-dessus ; elle a pour objet un distributeur d'eau chaude pour machine à café ; ce distributeur comprend un bloc présentant un loge ment dans lequel se trouve une came rotativement solidaire d'un levier de manoeuvre, cette came étant disposée de façon à pouvoir actionner, suivant sa position, l'une ou l'autre de deux soupapes faisant communiquer ce logement, la première avec une chaudière, et la seconde avec un tuyau de vidange, ledit logement étant relié par une canalisation à un orifice destiné à alimenter un godet portant un filtre, ce godet présentant une poignée et pouvant être fixé au bloc au moyen d'un dispositif à baïonnette ;
Le bloc 1 présente un logement 6 communi quant, d'une part, avec une chambre 7 reliée par un orifice 8 à la chaudière 5 et, d'autre part, avec une chambre 9 pourvue d'un tuyau de vidange10; le logement 6 est relié à la chambre 7 par un conduit 11 servant de guide à une tige triangulaire 13 d'une soupape 14 présentant un chapeau 15 ; sur ce der nier presse un ressort 16 prenant appui sur un bou chon fileté 17 obturant la chambre 7 ; dans cette dernière est logé un filtre 18 destiné à être traversé par de l'eau chaude provenant de la chaudière 5, par l'orifice 8 ; le logement 6 est relié à la chambre 9 par un conduit 19 guidant une tige triangulaire 20 d'une soupape 21 comprenant un chapeau 22 ;
Au travers du bloc 1 sont montés, de façon à pouvoir pivoter, deux tronçons d'arbres coaxiaux 44 et 45 ayant un axe commun 46 ; le tronçon 44 porte une came 47 destinée à actionner les tiges 13 et 20 susmentionnées, un presse-étoupe 49 et une des extrémités d'un levier de manoeuvre recourbé 48 dont l'autre extrémité est fixée au tronçon 45 ; le levier 48 porte un butoir 51 et sa rotation vers le bas est limi tée par une butée 50 vissée dans le bloc 1 ; le butoir 51 est destiné, lorsqu'il est abaissé et lorsque le godet 27 est en place, à empêcher tout déplacement de ce dernier dans le sens de la flèche 52 ;
Le distributeur représenté est utilisé par un usa ger pour confectionner du café comme suit Il fixe le godet 27 avec le filtre 35 garni de pou dre de café au bloc 1, sa poignée 37 venant finale ment dans une position dans laquelle elle est perpen diculaire à l'axe 46 ; puis il abaisse le levier 48 dans le sens de la flèche 53 jusqu'à ce qu'il prenne appui sur la butée 50, provoquant ainsi la rotation du tron çon d'arbre 44 et de la came 47, celle-ci soulevant la soupape 14 et mettant de ce fait en communication la chaudière 5 avec le filtre 35 par l'intermédiaire de l'orifice 8, du conduit 11, du logement 6, de la cana lisation 25 et de la soupape 28 ;
Hot water dispenser for a coffee machine Some coffee machines currently in use are provided with a removable cup intended to contain coffee powder and capable of being supplied with hot water under pressure; however, it may happen that a user untimely detaches said bucket while it is still supplied with hot water, which may cause him serious burns.
The present invention makes it possible to remedy the disadvantage indicated above; its object is a hot water dispenser for a coffee machine; this distributor comprises a block having a housing in which there is a cam which is rotatably integral with an operating lever, this cam being arranged so as to be able to actuate, depending on its position, one or the other of two valves communicating this housing, the first with a boiler, and the second with a drain pipe, said housing being connected by a pipe to an orifice intended to supply a cup carrying a filter, this cup having a handle and being able to be fixed to the block by means a bayonet device;
this distributor is characterized in that the cam operating lever carries a stopper arranged so as to be able to prevent, in the position of this lever in which said cam puts this housing in communication with the boiler by means of a of said valves, untimely removal of said bucket by rotation of its handle, when the latter is in place in the block.
The appended drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the dispenser which is the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 is an axial section of this embodiment; fig. 2 is a plan view; fig. 3 is a view of a construction detail. The distributor shown comprises a block 1 comprising a flange 2 intended to be fixed by means of screws 3 to a flange 4 of a boiler 5 for producing hot water under pressure.
Block 1 has a housing 6 communicating, on the one hand, with a chamber 7 connected by an orifice 8 to the boiler 5 and, on the other hand, with a chamber 9 provided with a drain pipe 10 ; the housing 6 is connected to the chamber 7 by a conduit 11 serving as a guide to a triangular rod 13 of a valve 14 having a cap 15; on this last press a spring 16 bearing on a threaded plug 17 closing the chamber 7; in the latter is housed a filter 18 intended to be crossed by hot water coming from the boiler 5, through the orifice 8; the housing 6 is connected to the chamber 9 by a duct 19 guiding a triangular rod 20 of a valve 21 comprising a cap 22;
thereon presses a spring 23 bearing against a threaded plug 24 closing off the chamber 9, a drain pipe 10 being provided through this plug.
The housing 6 is connected by a pipe 25 to a threaded orifice 26 intended to supply a circular cup 27 fixed by a bayonet device to the block 1, this orifice 26 being provided with a valve 28 comprising a ball 2.9 capable of closing off by tially an opening 30 (fig. 3).
The valve 28 has a head 31 intended to press, against the corresponding face 32 of the block 1, a grid 33 pierced with orifices 34 opening into the cup 27 which itself carries a filter 35 pierced with ori fices 36.
The cup 27 comprises a handle 37, a drain hole 38 and, at its periphery, two diametrically opposed tenons 39, FIG. 2, intended to move rotatably in a circular inner groove 40 of the block 1; the latter has, on the one hand, two diametrically opposed countersinks 41 and ending in the groove 40 which serves as guides for the tenons 39 and, on the other hand, a circular groove 42 provided with a sealing gasket 43 intended to be pressed by the top of the bucket wall 27.
Through the block 1 are mounted, so as to be able to pivot, two sections of coaxial shafts 44 and 45 having a common axis 46; the section 44 carries a cam 47 intended to actuate the aforementioned rods 13 and 20, a stuffing box 49 and one end of a curved operating lever 48, the other end of which is fixed to the section 45; the lever 48 carries a stopper 51 and its downward rotation is limited by a stopper 50 screwed into the block 1; the stopper 51 is intended, when it is lowered and when the bucket 27 is in place, to prevent any movement of the latter in the direction of the arrow 52;
in other words, it prevents one cannot remove the bucket 27 by maneuvering its handle 37 in the direction of this arrow.
The dispenser shown is used by a user to make coffee as follows: It fixes the cup 27 with the filter 35 filled with coffee powder to the block 1, its handle 37 finally coming into a position in which it is perpendicular to axis 46; then he lowers the lever 48 in the direction of the arrow 53 until it bears on the stop 50, thus causing the rotation of the shaft section 44 and of the cam 47, the latter lifting the valve 14 and thereby placing the boiler 5 in communication with the filter 35 via the orifice 8, the duct 11, the housing 6, the duct 25 and the valve 28;
then, after making a coffee, the lever 48 is moved in the opposite direction of the arrow 53 to an approximately vertical position; this drives the cam 47 which, actuating the valve 21, places the top of the filter 35 in communication with the drain pipe 10 through the valve 28, the pipe 25, the housing 6, the pipe 19 and the bedroom 9; therefore, the water remaining on the filter 35 is evacuated by lifting the ball 29 through the pipe 10; then the cup 27 is detached from the block 1 in order to allow the filter 35 to be emptied and the latter to be recharged.
It should be noted that the bucket 27 cannot be removed from the block 1 by the user before the lever 48 has been moved in the opposite direction to the arrow 53, so as to interrupt all communication between the boiler 5 and the pipe 25 , so that this user cannot be reached by hot water coming from it.
