Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung einer neuen Quecksilberverbindung.    Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist  ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer neuen  Quecksilberverbindung, das dadurch gekenn  zeichnet ist, dass man     n-Propylmercurithio-          :ithyl-dimethylamin    mit     Dimethylsulfat    um  setzt.  



  Das so erhaltene n -     Propylmercurithio-          äthyl-trimethylammonium-methosulfat    ist .ein  gelbliches, in Wasser lösliches Öl und soll als  Desinfektionsmittel Verwendung finden.  



       Beispiel:     3,25 Teile eines Gemisches von     n-Propyl-          quecksilberchlorid    werden in 30     Vol.-Teilen     Alkohol suspendiert und nach Zusatz von  1     Vol.-Teil        10n-Natronlauge    20 Minuten lang  gekocht.

   Es wird kalt filtriert und das     Filtrat     zu einer Lösung von     Dimethylaminoäthyl-          mercaptan    gegeben, die durch Umsatz von 1,5  Teilen     Dimethylaminoäthylmercaptan-hy        dro-          ehlorid    in 15     Vol.-Teilen    Alkohol unter Zu  satz von 1     Vol.-Teil        10n-Natronlauge    und Fil  trieren in der Kälte bereitet wird. Diese Lö  sung kocht man eine Stunde lang am Rück-         fluss,    destilliert den Alkohol ab und nimmt  den Rückstand in Äther auf.

   Nach dem Ab  destillieren des Äthers     hinterbleiben    2,4 Teile  des     n-Propylmercurithioäthyl-dimethylamins.     



  2,4 Teile dieser Quecksilberverbindung  wurden in 8     Vol.-Teilen        abs.    Alkohol aufge  nommen, mit 0,7     Vol.-Teilen        Dimethylsulfat     versetzt und der Alkohol nach der erfolgten  Reaktion auf dem Wasserbade     abdestilliert.     Der Rückstand wird mit Äther behandelt. Es       hinterbleibt    das in Wasser lösliche     n-Propyl-          mercurithioäthyl    -     trimethy        lammonium-metho-          sulfat    als gelbliches öl.

   It is filtered cold and the filtrate is added to a solution of dimethylaminoethyl mercaptan, which is obtained by reacting 1.5 parts of dimethylaminoethyl mercaptan hydrochloride in 15 parts by volume of alcohol with the addition of 1 part by volume of 10N sodium hydroxide solution and Fil trieres in the cold is prepared. This solution is refluxed for one hour, the alcohol is distilled off and the residue is taken up in ether.

   After distilling off the ether, 2.4 parts of n-propylmercurithioethyl-dimethylamine remain.



  2.4 parts of this mercury compound were abs in 8 parts by volume. Alcohol taken up, treated with 0.7 parts by volume of dimethyl sulfate and the alcohol was distilled off after the reaction on the water bath. The residue is treated with ether. The water-soluble n-propyl mercurithioethyl trimethylammonium methosulfate remains as a yellowish oil.

Das so erhaltene n-Propy lm.ercurithioäthyl- trimethylammonium-methosulfat ist ein gelb liches, in Wasser lösliches Öl und soll als Des infektionsmittel Verwendung finden.
