Repeating wake-up mechanism. The invention relates to a repeating alarm mechanism, characterized by a cam fixed to the axis of the small medium, by a stop member capable of being moved by this cam from a position in which it rust. the ringing in a position in which it releases the latter, the movement of said member against the cam being effected under the action of a spring, the time which elapses between the rings as well as the duration of each of them depending the number and shape of the cam bosses.
The ringed design represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the mechanism being the object. of]. 'invention.
Fig. 7 of this drawing is a partial plan view of a first embodiment, only the members necessary for understanding the invention being shown.
lia fig. 2 is a similar view of a second embodiment.
In the first embodiment, 1 is the axis of the wheel (the small medium 2. On this axis is fixed a cam 3 having six wise bos also with one of the ends of a single stop member. 4 having, at two points along its length, two elongated slots 5 through which pass guide screws 6. This arrangement allows the member 4 to perform any rectilinear movement limited by the length of the slots 5. The other end mity of the member 4 cooperates, by means of a part 7, with a lug 8 presented by the hammer (the ringing 9.
A spring: 10, the free end of which is engaged in a notch 11 of the member 4, tends to keep the latter in contact with the cam 3.
When the member 4 occupies the position shown in the drawing, that is to say when its end is disposed between two bosses of the cam 3, the part 7 of this member is engaged with the lug 8 of the hammer 9 and locks it. The cam 3 rotating in the direction of clockwise, when a boss comes into contact with the end of the member 4, the latter is pushed back, in a rectilinear movement, against the action of res sort 10.
Part 7 leaves the lug 8 of the hammer 9 and the latter is released. The ringtone can come in; in action. When the boss exceeds the end of the member 4, the latter is pushed back into the gap between two bosses by the spring. 10 and part 7 of member 4 again locks hammer 9 until the next boss of the cam comes to act on member 4. Instead of six bosses, cam 3 could have another number of wise bos, depending on the number of rings to be made. , The mechanism also has an angled lever 12 pivoting at 7.3.
One of the parts of this condé lever is engaged in a notch 14 of the member 4, while the other part can be maneuvered from outside due to movement and allows the member 4 to be moved away being then held in. its position for which the hammer 9 is released, which allows the bell to operate without interruptions.
The embodiment shown in FIG. 2 also has a cam 3 fixed on the axis 1 of the small medium wheel 2, this cam having six bosses equally distributed around its periphery. This cam cooperates with one of the ends of a stop lever 4a pivoting at 6a, and the other end of which cooperates, by means of a part 7, with a lug 8 presented by the striking hammer 9. A spring 10 presses on lever 4a to keep its end 6b in contact with cam 3.
The mechanism also has an angled lever 12 pivoting at 13 and whose purpose is similar to that of lever 12 of FIG. 1, except that it moves the stop member 4a in a pivoting movement instead of moving it in a rectilinear movement. One could also provide embodiments in which the stop member, instead of acting on the striking hammer, would act on the alarm wheel. The operation would be the same. The mechanisms shown and described are applicable to all types of alarm clocks, ankle anchors and anchor escapements.
