Description

   Dans un logement l'8 de  la vis 16, un ressort 19- presse, par l'inter  médiaire     :d'une    bille 20, le dispositif obtura  teur, rivé à l'organe 9, sur les     surfaces    annu  laires planes du canon de     .guidage    12 et d'un  siège     interchangeable        2'1    fixé à une paroi  médiane     2,2@    La partie supérieure 23 -du corps  du robinet reçoit un     .écrou    24 guidant la vis  de     :commande    16 dont l'étanchéité     est    assurée  par un presse-étoupe     25,;

      une calotte 26, vissée sur l'écrou '24, fait fonction -de butée de fer meture 27 limitant la course de la vis 1 & par la partie inférieure :de la poignée 2'8, assurant ainsi l'espace nécessaire entre les organes. 17 et 15: pour le soulèvement du dispositif obtu rateur par le levier 1.

  Valve with two independent control units. In all households, draw out the water, in a receptacle such as: saucepan, pot, etc., or heavy utensil of an electric cooker, holding it with one hand, and turning with the other the tap control handle. is a difficult and painful operation.

  The present invention relates to a valve which eliminates this drawback by the fact that it has two independent control members and that it is -characterized in that one of these members consists of a handle for opening. and the closing of the valve by hand, the second of these members being constituted by a movable lever capable of being actuated, in a direction for which it causes the opening of the valve, by pressure exerted on it by means of an utensil to be filled in with both hands,

   the closing of the valve being ensured in this case automatically by a spring returning said lever to the initial position.

  The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, a: schematic sectional view of an embodiment of the valve forming the subject of the invention.

  The valve shown comprises a movable lever 1 terminating at its lower part in a support 2 in the form of a quarter ring allowing the rim of a container to be supported; this lever 1, fixed by means of a pin: 8, between two cheeks 4 of the valve body, has at its upper part:

   a stop beak 5 limiting the stroke: of the lever forward, a smooth and slightly concave surface 6 on which rests a connecting rod 7, for example made of stainless steel, passing through a seal 8 and driven into a member 9 of the shutter device. the passage -of the rod 7 through the lower part 1 0 of the body: is provided by a member 11 receiving an interchangeable guide bush 12 acting as a stuffing box in a housing 18i of organ 11.

   A threaded ring 15, blocked on the lower part of a screw 16, retains and drives by a shoulder of the member 9 @ the ob turator device composed of the seal 8 and its support 17.

   In a housing the 8 of the screw 16, a spring 19 presses, by the intermediary of: a ball 20, the obturator device, riveted to the member 9, on the flat annular surfaces of the barrel. .guiding 12 and an interchangeable seat 2'1 fixed to a central wall 2.2 @ The upper part 23 of the valve body receives a .nut 24 guiding the control screw 16, the sealing of which is ensured by a cable gland 25 ,;

      a cap 26, screwed onto the nut '24, acts as a meture stopper 27 limiting the travel of the screw 1 & through the lower part: of the handle 2'8, thus ensuring the necessary space between the components . 17 and 15: for lifting the obturator device by lever 1.

  The axis 3, the rod 7, the spring 19 and the ball 20 are made of stainless steel; all the other parts can be for example bronze or brass. It is easily understood from the above description, that. obtains the opening of the tap either by the movement imparted to the moving lever by the utensil to be filled, the closing being ensured automatically by the spring,

       or by the control handle usually operated by hand for opening and closing.
