Description

  

  Dispositif pour l'ouverture et la fermeture brusque d'une soupape.    L'objet de la présente invention est un  dispositif pour l'ouverture et la fermeture  brusque     d'une    soupape, comportant, articulé  sur un support, un levier principal, tournant  autour d'un centre fixe, de façon à modifier  les positions relatives dudit centre de     rota-          tiou    fixe et de deux autres centres de rota  tion dont l'un se trouve sur la tige de la  soupape et l'autre à l'extrémité du levier  principal, le tout établi de telle façon que  lorsque ces trois points sont en ligne droite  le dispositif se trouve en une position d'équi  libre instable et qu'il suffise d'un léger dé  placement du levier principal pour provoquer  un entraînement brusque de la soupape sous  l'action d'un ressort,

   ladite soupape ne pou  vant pas occuper de position intermédiaire  entre les positions d'ouverture et de fermeture.  



  Le dessin annexé montre, à titre d'exem  ple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de  l'invention pour une soupape à gaz.  



  La     fig.    1 en est une élévation, avec  coupe de la soupape, et la     fig.    2 en est une  vue de dessus.    Le dispositif représenté comporte articulé  en 0, sur un support 1, un levier coudé 2  contre lequel est appuyée l'extrémité d'une  tige de commande.<B>3,</B> se déplaçant sous l'in  fluence de variations de température. Sur la  tige 4 de la soupape sont articulés en B,  un levier b pivotant en 0 et un levier 6,  lié au moyen d'un ressort 8 à un levier 7,  articulé à l'extrémité C du levier coudé 2;  des organes de butée 9 et 10 limitent la  course de la tige 4 et du levier 2; celui-ci  est constamment appuyé contre la tige 3,  sous l'action des ressorts de rappel 11 et 12.  



  Le dispositif tel que celui décrit ci-dessus  est spécialement établi pour des installations  de     chauffage    au gaz, et est destiné à inter  rompre brusquement l'arrivée du gaz au mo  ment où la température désirée est atteinte.  Ce dispositif     fonctionne    comme suit:  La tige 3, sous     l'influence    des variations  de température, se déplace en obligeant le  levier 2 constamment appuyé contre elle  sous l'action des ressorts 11 et 12, à osciller  autour du point 0. L'extrémité C de ce levier      2 tourne autour de 0, le point B restant  immobile et le ressort 8 se comprime.

   Au  moment où les points 0, B et C sont en  ligne droite, le dispositif se trouve en état  d'équilibre instable et il suffit que le point  C continue à se déplacer d'une petite quan  tité dans le même sens pour que le ressort  8, jusque là comprimé, se détende en en  traînant la tige 4 de la soupape, dont le  déplacement se fait ainsi très brusquement.

The device shown comprises articulated at 0, on a support 1, an angled lever 2 against which the end of a control rod is pressed. <B> 3, </B> moving under the influence of variations in temperature. On the stem 4 of the valve are articulated at B, a pivoting lever b at 0 and a lever 6, linked by means of a spring 8 to a lever 7, articulated at the end C of the angled lever 2; stop members 9 and 10 limit the stroke of the rod 4 and of the lever 2; the latter is constantly pressed against the rod 3, under the action of the return springs 11 and 12.



  The device such as that described above is specially established for gas heating installations, and is intended to abruptly interrupt the arrival of gas when the desired temperature is reached. This device works as follows: The rod 3, under the influence of temperature variations, moves by forcing the lever 2 constantly pressed against it under the action of the springs 11 and 12, to oscillate around the point 0. The end C of this lever 2 rotates around 0, point B remaining stationary and spring 8 is compressed.

   When points 0, B and C are in a straight line, the device is in a state of unstable equilibrium and point C need only continue to move a small amount in the same direction for the spring 8, previously compressed, relaxes by dragging the stem 4 of the valve, the displacement of which is thus done very suddenly.

REVENDICATION: Dispositif pour l'ouverture et la ferme ture brusque d'une soupape, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte, articulé sur un support, un levier principal, tournant autour d'un centre fixe, de façon à modifier les positions relatives dudit centre de rotation fixe et de deux autres centres de rotation dont l'un se trouve sur la tige de la soupape et l'autre à l'extrémité du levier principal, le tout établi de telle façon que lorsque ces trois points sont en ligne droite, le dispositif se trouve en une position d'équilibre instable et qu'il suffise d'un léger déplacement du levier principal pour provoquer un entraîne ment brusque de la soupape sous l'action d'un ressort, ladite soupape ne pouvant pas occuper de position intermédiaire entre les positions d'ouverture et de fermeture.
