Chronograph pusher. The object of the invention is a chronograph pusher comprising a head screwed onto a rod guided in a tube integral with the case, characterized in that said head and the guide tube comprise means co-operating with each other to prevent any rotation. tion of the head relative to the tube and thus prevent any untimely unscrewing of the head.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, several embodiments of the pusher forming the subject of the invention.
Figs. 1, 3, 5, 7, 10 and 12 are axial sections with parts in elevation of these different embodiments, FIG. 9 being a section at 90 in FIG. 7.
Figs. 2, 4, 6, 8, 11 and 13 are radial sections of these same embodiments, each of them along a line corresponding to line A-B in FIG. 1.
The pusher shown in fig. 1 and 2 comprises a united hollow head 1 screwed by its barrel 2 onto a rod 3, the head 4 of which is intended to actuate a chronograph lever or another similar member. The rod 3 is guided by the drilled bottom 5 of a tube 6 screwed into a tapped hole in the middle part 7. A pack 8 of compressible material is housed in the bottom of the tube 6 and jointly surrounds the rod 3.
The counter spring 9 of the pusher surrounds the .canon 2 and rests, on the one hand, against the bottom of the recess 10 of the head and, on the other hand, against a ferrule 11 freely adjusted in the tube 6 and s 'pressing, on the other hand, on the outer face of the package 8. The spring 9 therefore serves both to maintain and return the head 1 in its rest position and to compress the package 8. The head 4 of the screw 3 limits the external stroke of the head 1 of the pusher by abutting against the drilled bottom 5 of the tube 6.
The tube 6 has, on the outside of the middle part 7, an enlarged part 12 which, when the head 1 of the pusher is pressed, enters the recess 10 of this head. The upper end of this widened part 12 of the tube 6 has a crown of longitudinal grooves 13 and the head 1 has, for its part, an internal grooving 11 which engages, with Lin very small clearance 15, in the caliiielage 13 of the tube.
The head 1, called the pusher, is thus prevented from making the slightest rotational movement relative to the tube 6; it cannot therefore accidentally unscrew from the rod 3, a frequent accident in wristwatch pushers. The axial movements of the head 11, on the other hand, are not hampered in any way. Another advantage of this positive device consists in polishing the pushers tight., In the fact that the rod can no longer bind the package is no longer subjected to accidental cuts and its duration is increased.
In the example of fig. 3 and 1, the enlarged outer part 12 of the tube 6 integral with the box has an octagonal rim 16 to which corresponds an octagonal wall 17 of the recess 10 of the head 1.
In fig. at and 6, part 1'2 of tube 6 has a longitudinal outer flat. 18 to which corresponds an interior flat 19 of the head 1.
In the example of fig. ï, 8 and 9, the tube has two flats 20 and the lower end 21 of the head 1 has an oval cross section.
In the example of fig. 10 and 11, the head 1 includes a peg \ ?? projecting inside its recess 10 and the end 12 of the tube fi has a longitudinal groove 23 in which the exti # éinite of the ankle 22 engages.
In the example of fig. 12 and 13, the head 1 has a united longitudinal slot 21 which engages the screw oil head 25 26 fixed in the end 12 of the tube 6.
