Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Nüpenfarbstoffes. <I>Beispiel:</I> 10 Gewichtsteile der durch Kondensation von 4-Brom-1.8-chinoylen-naphtalin und 1-Amino-5-chlor-anthrachinon erhältlichen Verbindung werden 2-3 Stunden in einer Schmelze aus 100 Gewichtsteilen Nalium- hydroxyd, 90 Volumteilen Äthylalkohol und 10 Volumteilen Äthanolamin am Rückfluss- kühler unter Rühren erhitzt.

Man erhält einen dunkelgrünen Farbstoff, der sich in konz. Schwefelsäure mit schmut- zig-grüner Farbe löst. Beim Eingiessen der Lösung in Wasser scheiden sich blaue Flok- ken ab. Der Farbstoff färbt Baumwolle aus olivgrauer Kühe in olivgrünen Tönen von guten Echtheiten.
