Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 228649. 'Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Küpenfarbstoffes. Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Küpenfarbstoffes, welches darin besteht, dass man die durch Kondensation von 4-Brom- 8 - äthogy -1.8 - chinoylen-naphtalin und 1- Amino-anthrachinon erhältliche Verbindung von der Zusammensetzung:

in einer Alkalischmelze erhitzt.
Man kann die Schmelze auch in G egen- wart von Lösungs- oder Verdünnungsmitteln, wie z. B.Äthylall-#ohol und Xthanolamin durchführen.
Beispiel: In einer Schmelze aus 10(t CTewiclitsteilen Kaliumhydroxyd, 90 Volumteilen Älliyl- alkohol und 10 Volumteilen i@thniolanlin -werden 10 Gewichtsteile der Kondensations- verbindung aus 4-Brom - 3 - äth osy -1.8 - clii- noyl_en-naphtalin und 1-
lmino-antlir < ichinon am Rückflusskühler unter Rühreia erhitzt, bis die anfänglich marineblaue Liisnng-:sfarhe des Ausgangsproduktes in Schwefelsäure in ein trübes Olivbraun übergegangen ist und sich beim Eingiessen der @chirefelänrelösuiin in Nasser der Farbstoff in. blauen Flocken als Sulfat abscheidet.
Hierauf -wird die Schmelze in Wasser gegeben, der Farbstoff, der zum Teil noch als Leukoverbindung vor liegt, aus der entstandenen Küpe finit Luft oxydiert, abfiltriert und mit heissem Wasser neutral gewaschen. Durch Extraktion mit _Ä.tliyl:illzoliol werden rote Verunreinigungen entfernt, der getrocknete grüne Farbstoff wird aus Nitrobenzol umkristallisiert.
Dlan erhält glänzende, dunkelgrüne, ver filzte Nädelclien, die sieh in konz. Schwefel- sä ure mit blasser, olivbraLmer Farbe lösen; beim Verdünnen mit Wasser fällt das Sulfat. des Farbstoffes in klaren, kobaltblauen Flok- ken aus.
Aus violetter Küpe werden Baum wolle, regenerierte Cellulose und Misch- gewelie aus Baumwolle und Zellwolle in khakifarbenen Tönen von ausgezeichneten Ecbtlieitseigenscliaftcn und hervorragender Lichtechtheit gefärbt.
