Method for shearing profile bars and the like and device for carrying out the method. The known method for shearing off profile bars and the like had the disadvantage that the sheared material was more or less deformed and that, depending on the type of material to be processed, the formation of leaves or scales was unavoidable. Practice has shown that the degree of scale formation is always in a certain ratio to the cross-section of the shear material, that is, the scale formation is more pronounced in the case of shear material with a large cross-section. It has also been shown that the cutting angle and knife shape have a considerable influence on the formation of flakes.
The stated drawbacks are intended to be remedied by the present invention. The same relates to a method for shearing profile bars and the like and to a device for practicing the method.
The method according to the invention consists in the fact that the sheared material is first sheared from at least two sides and only then completely sheared off.
The device for exercising the method has two functionally connected knives, which are mounted displaceably with respect to one another, each provided with a central recess for receiving the seer object, under the influence of Actuate supply organs.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the device for practicing the method is shown, namely: Fig. 1 shows a section through the device shown only partially, the individual parts of which are in the position be in which the carrion shear of the Shear material can begin from one side, Fig. 2 shows a section through the device shown only partially, the individual parts of which can be found in the position in which the carcass shear of the shear material has taken place from one side, Fig.
3 shows a section through the device shown only partially, the individual parts of which are to be found in the position in which the shearing of the sheared material has taken place from the other side, FIG. 4 shows a section through the device shown only partially, the individual parts of the same are in the position in which the complete shearing off of the shear material has already taken place, FIG. 5 shows a detail.
1 with the die plate is referred to, which is mounted in a stationary manner in the machine stand, not shown, in a manner not shown and which has a horizontal bore 2 through which the round rod 8 forming the shear material can be inserted. 3 denotes a knife which is provided with a central recess and has a funnel-shaped recess 4 at one end in order to facilitate the introduction of the round rod S.
The knife 3 is under the influence of the actuating bolt 5, which is vertically displaceable in a suitable recess of the die plate 1 and which receives its drive from a cam lever, not shown. The part of the knife 3 facing away from the bolt 5 is under the influence of the flat spring 6, the two ends of which (not shown in the drawing) are bent and rest on the upper wall of the recess 7 'provided in the stop 7 and which aims to to press the knife 3 in the position ersicht from Fig. 1. The knife 3 is stored in the housing formed by the die plate 1 and the stop 7 to a limited extent ver slidable.
With the carriage 8 is designated on which the knife formed from the two identically shaped halves 9, 9 '(Fig. 5) is arranged. The knife half 9 is secured against falling out by the holder 10 provided with a corresponding recess and the knife half 9 'by the guide carriage 8 provided with a suitable recess 8' (FIGS. 2, 3 and 4). The two knife halves 9, 9 'each have a semi-circular recess serving to receive the sheared material on the side facing one another.
The two knife halves 9, 9 'are under the influence of the opposing expansion bodies 11, ll', which are placed in the guides 12, 12 'and are under the influence of the coil springs 13 "13', which latter the endeavor have to press the two expanding bodies 11, 11 'against each other, thereby moving the two knife halves 9, 9' away from each other.
In the slide 8, the vertical Bol zen 14 is arranged, which is under the influence of a drive member, not shown, and that the device is so gepof fen that the slide 8 secures ge in a certain position by locking means not shown organs against displacement can be.
With 15 the die, with 16 the feed channel for the blank, with 17, 18 the two counteracting, under the influence of actuating organs, not shown standing press ram designated, while 19 of the scraper is indicated.
The method for shearing off profile rods and the like can be carried out using the device described for practicing the method as follows: Assumed that the individual parts of the device described are located in the position shown in FIG. 1 and the front end of the round rod rS is either by hand or by means of an automatic feed device, not shown, passed through the knife 3 and thus pushed into the knife halves 9, 9 ', which are made up of the two identically shaped with matching recesses,
until the front end of the adjustable stop 10 'rests and you want to cut the front, between tween the two knife halves 9, 9' lying piece of the round rod 8, the bolt 14 is by appropriate movement of a cam lever not shown so far in the direction of Arrow (Fig. 1) be moved that the knife half 9 'facing the bolt 14 is shifted against the action of the coil springs 13, 13' so far against the adjacent knife half 9 that the two knife halves 9, 9 'are between them Firmly grasp part of the sheared material and secure it against shifting.
At the beginning of this operation, the guide carriage 8 has been locked to the machine stand by organs not shown, so that it does not participate in the movement of the bolt 14 described before. Then the bolt 5 is moved under the influence of a cam lever, not shown in the drawing, in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 1) until the upper part of the knife 3 comes to rest against the stop 7. The flat spring 6, which lies in the recess 7 ′ and acts on the knife 3, is tensioned. The stop 7 so limits the movement of the knife 3-. The parts 5, 14 form the Actuating organs of the two knives, which are mutually operatively connected.
As a result of the working process described, the knife 3 is moved into the position shown in FIG. 2, while the knife consisting of the two knife halves 9, 9 'is held un movable due to the locking of the guide carriage 8. As a result, as can be seen from FIG. 2 ', the sheared material is sheared from one side. Then the (not shown) Verrie gelung of the guide carriage 8 is released, whereupon this under the influence of actuators not drawn ge, while the bolt 5 and the knife 31 stand still, in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 2) is moved so that As can be seen from FIG. 3, the material to be sheared is sheared from the other side.
As a result of the further movement of the guide carriage 8 carrying the two knife halves 9, 9 ', the two knife halves 9, 9' are pushed further upwards along the adjacent edge of the knife 3 until the between the two knife halves 9, 9 'located shear material has taken place.
The movement of the guide carriage 8 can, as can be seen from FIG. 4, be effective so far that the cut blank can be supplied to appropriate processing tools. Depending on the type of processing of the cut blank, an embodiment of the device is of course also conceivable, according to which the same is ejected into a collecting container.
The ejection of the blank from the knife halves 9 ', 9' can be followed, for example, by a suitable ejector pin, which is actuated by drive elements not shown in detail.
In the lower end position of the bolt 14 shown in FIG. 1, the lower part of the knife half 9 'lies under the influence of the helical springs 13, 13', as shown in FIG. 1, in the slide 8 provided at the upper end of the guide Recess 8 'in which the knife can be displaced to a limited extent.
The described device enables a quick and wall-free shearing of profile bars and the like with simple means, with deformation of the viewer and scaling being avoided.
Instead of shearing profile rods, the device described could naturally also be set up to shear off other materials, in particular those made of steel or metals. An embodiment of the device is also conceivable, according to which the knife 3 could also be formed from two parts.
Instead of looking at the sheared material from two sides, as described, if the device is designed accordingly, it could also be done from three or more sides.
