Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 222800. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Leukoschwefelsäureesters eines Küpenfarbstoffes. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zurHerstellung eines Leukoschwefel- säureesters eines Küpenfarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man den gemäss Beispiel 7 der deutschen Patentschrift Nr.
533500 aus 5- (Bzi - Benzanthronylamino-) 1.2'-dianthrimid durch Einwirkung von alkalischen Mitteln erhältlichen Küpenfarbstoff mit metallischem Kupfer und einem Gemisch aus einem ver- esternd wirkenden Abkömmling der Schwefel säure und Pyridinhomologen behandelt.
Der so erhaltene Leukoschwefelsäureester löst sich in Wasser mit olivgrüner Farbe und ergibt rotstichig graue Färbungen, welche in Farbton und Echtheitseigenschaften den mit dem zugrunde liegenden Küpenfarbstoff er haltenen völlig gleichen.
<I>Beispiel:</I> Zu einem Gemisch von 200 Teilen tech nischen Pyridinhomologen vom Siedebereich 123-128 C und 40 Teilen Chlorsulfonsäure gibt man bei etwa <B>20-30'</B> C ein Gemisch aus 20 Teilen des nach Beispiel 7 der deut schen Patentschrift Nr.
533500 erhaltenen und fein gemahlenen güpenfarbstofEes und 20 Tei len Kupferpulver. Man rührt etwa 3 Stunden bei etwa 40 C, kühlt dann ab und giesst das Veresterungsgemisch in etwa 1000 Teile Eis wasser ein, wobei sich das komplexe Kupfer- pyridinsalz des Leukoschwefelsäureesters als zähflüssige Masse ausscheidet.
Man führt es nach Abgiessen der darüberstehenden Flüssig keit durch etwa einstündiges Rühren mit etwa 50 Teilen Natronlauge 40 B6 in etwa 1500 Teilen Wasser bei etwa<B>601</B> C in das Natrium salz des Leukoschwefelsäureesters über, saugt von Kupferrückständen ab und engt das Fil trat im Vakuum auf etwa 500 Teile ein. Durch Zugabe von etwa 100 Teilen Chlorkalium wird das Leukoschwefelsäureester-Kaliumsalz ausgefällt, durch Absaugen isoliert und auf Paste oder Pulver verarbeitet.
