Boîte de montre étanche. Il existe une quantité de montres dans lesquelles soit par suite du mode de fixation de la glace, soit à cause de la forme de l'ou verture de la lunette, soit pour toute autre raison, le mouvement ne peut être mis en place et retiré que par le fond. La boîte se compose alors généralement d'une carrure- lunette venue d'une pièce et d'un fond amo vible. La réalisation d'un assemblage étanche du fond et de la carrure est un des problèmes les plus discutés des fabricants de boîtes et a suscité un grand nombre de propositions sur la nature et l'efficacité, desquelles il n'y a pas lieu de s'étendre.
La présente invention est relative à une boîte de montre étanche, en particulier, mais non exclusivement à une boîte comportant une carrure-lunette dont la glace, fixée de façon étanche, ne peut être enlevée par les moyens ordinaires. La boîte de montre étan che selon l'invention est caractérisée par un faux-fond pressé par un ressort contre une portée prévue à l'intérieur de la carrure et garnie d'un paquetage d'étanchéité en ma tière légèrement compressible.
Le dessin annexé montre, à titre d'exem ple, trois formes d'exécution de la boîte étanche faisant l'objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 est une coupe axiale de la pre mière forme; la fig. 2 est une vue de dessous ,de celle-ci, le fond étant enlevé; la fig. 3 -est une coupe axiale de la deuxième forme; la fig. 4 est une vue de dessous de celle-ci, le fond étant enlevé; la fig. 5 est une coupe de la troisième forme (montre de forme), et la fig. 6 -est une vue de dessous de cette dernière, le fond étant enlevé.
La boîte de montre représentée aux fig. 1 et 2 est une boîte ronde comportant une car rure-lunette 10 sur laquelle est fixée de façon étanche connue une glace 11. Sur une portée périphérique intérieure 12 de la carrure est disposé un paquetage 1.D constitué par une bague en matière légèrement compressible, par exemple en matière connue sous la dési gnation commerciale de "Plexite". Un disque rigide 14 formant faux-fond repose sur le pa quetage 13 contre lequel il est pressé uni formément par un ressort<B>15</B> s'appuyant d'autre part sur le fond 16.
Le ressort. 15 est constitué, ainsi qu'il appert de la fig. 2 par un anneau métallique plat dans lequel sont découpées symétriquement et à distances égales les unes des 'autres quatre languettes 15' légèrement relevées sur une des faces de cet anneau. Le fond proprement dit 16 est fermé de façon habituelle à cran sur la car rure-lunette. L'étanchéité est ainsi assurée non par le fond 16 proprement dit, mais par le faux-fond 14 pressé par le ressort 15 contre la portée 12 de la carrure garnie du paque tage 13.
La forme d'exécution représentée aux fig. 3 et 4 est, dans son ensemble, analogue à la première. Elle comporte également une lunette-carrure 10 à glace étanche 11. un faux-fond 14 pressé par un ressort 15 contre une portée 12 de la carrure garnie d'un pa quetage 13. Mais ici le ressort 15 est consti tué par une simple bague fendue en 15' et prenant appui latéralement dans une rainure périphérique 17 ménagée dans la paroi inté rieure de la carrure. La bague 15 est logée en partie dans une fraisure périphérique 14' du faux-fond, en partie dans la rainure 17 dont la paroi inférieure est conique de façon à ce que le ressort, ayant la tendance à s'écarter et à occuper la partie la plus large de son logement, exerce une action perpen diculaire au faux-fond.
Le fond proprement dit 16 est ici aussi fermé de façon habituelle, par exemple à cran sur la carrure-lunette.
La boîte représentée aux fi-. 5 et 6 est une boîte de forme, sensiblement rectangu laire. Elle comporte une carrure-lunette 10 à glace étanche 11. A l'intérieur de la carrure 10 est ajusté un cadre métallique 18 repo sant sur une portée 12' de la lunette.
Sur la portée formée par le bord inférieur du cadre 18 est disposé le paquetage annulaire 13 contre lequel est pressé le faux-fond rec- tangulaire 14 qui se trouve sous l'action d'un ressort à languettes 15 analogue à celui des fig. 1 et 2, mais de forme rectangulaire comme le faux-fond et comportant dix lan- ;@uettea 15' découpées à distance égale les unes des autres.
Le ressort prend appui, d'autre part, sur le fond proprement dit<B>16</B> qui est ici articulé à charnière d'un côté et fermé à cran de l'autre sur la carrure lunette 10. Ce fond 16 est muni de trous 19 dans 1-e but. de laisser écouler à l'extérieur l'humidité qui a pu pénétrer et se condenser entre le faux-fond étanche 14 et ledit fond 16.
Il va sans dire que le ressort peut assu mer toute forme appropriée à la forme du faux-fond et avoir plus ou moins de lan- gnettes s'il s'abit d'un ressort de l'espèce re présentée aux fi-. 1, 2, 5 et 6. On peut d'ail leurs prévoir bien d'autres formes de ressorts prenant appui soit sur le fond, soit sur la carrure-luriette. Le mode de fermeture du fond proprement dit. est. parfaitement indif- fërent et peut être réalisé de toute manière connue.
Dans le cas de la boîte représentée dans la fig. 5, on peut prévoir un deuxième paquetage entre le bord supérieur du cadre 18 et la portée 1.2' de la lunette.

The watch case shown in Figs. 1 and 2 is a round box comprising a rure-bezel 10 on which is fixed in a known sealed manner a crystal 11. On an inner peripheral bearing surface 12 of the middle part is arranged a package 1.D consisting of a ring made of slightly compressible material. , for example in a material known under the trade name of "Plexite". A rigid disc 14 forming a false bottom rests on the package 13 against which it is pressed together by a spring <B> 15 </B> resting on the other hand on the bottom 16.
The spring. 15 is constituted, as appears from FIG. 2 by a flat metal ring in which are cut symmetrically and at equal distances from each other four tabs 15 'slightly raised on one side of this ring. The back itself 16 is closed in the usual way notch on the rure-bezel. The seal is thus ensured not by the base 16 proper, but by the false base 14 pressed by the spring 15 against the bearing surface 12 of the middle part filled with the pack 13.
The embodiment shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 is, on the whole, analogous to the first. It also comprises a bezel-middle 10 with sealed glass 11. a false bottom 14 pressed by a spring 15 against a bearing surface 12 of the middle part furnished with a pad 13. But here the spring 15 is constituted by a simple ring. split in 15 'and bearing laterally in a peripheral groove 17 formed in the inner wall of the middle part. The ring 15 is housed partly in a peripheral countersink 14 'of the false bottom, partly in the groove 17, the lower wall of which is conical so that the spring, having the tendency to move away and to occupy the part the widest of its housing, exerts an action perpendicular to the false bottom.
The back cover 16 is here also closed in the usual way, for example notch on the caseband-bezel.
The box shown in fig. 5 and 6 is a box of shape, substantially rectangular. It comprises a middle-bezel 10 with sealed glass 11. A metal frame 18 is fitted inside the middle part 10, resting on a surface 12 ′ of the bezel.
On the bearing surface formed by the lower edge of the frame 18 is disposed the annular package 13 against which is pressed the rectangular false bottom 14 which is under the action of a tab spring 15 similar to that of FIGS. 1 and 2, but rectangular in shape like the false bottom and comprising ten lan-; @uettea 15 'cut at equal distance from each other.
The spring is supported, on the other hand, on the back proper <B> 16 </B> which is here hinged on one side and locked on the other on the bezel middle 10. This back 16 is provided with holes 19 in 1-e goal. to allow the moisture which may have penetrated and condensed between the waterproof false bottom 14 and said bottom 16 to flow outside.
