Safety device for watch hairspring. The object of the present invention is a safety device for a watch hairspring, a device intended to prevent, during an impact for example, one of the turns of the hairspring from overlapping either another turn or the pin, or still the key to the racket and to stay attached to it, disrupting or stopping the watch.
The device according to the invention is characterized in that the pin, inserted between the outer coil and the immediately subsequent coil of the hairspring, is bent below the latter, so that its free end is situated in a plane. approximately perpendicular to the axis of the balance,
the oil por as a nose located at least approximately in the same plane as this free end of the pin and said nose coming to rest thanks to a rotation of the key, against the elbow of the pin, thus trapping the coil exterior.
The appended drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the device forming the subject of the invention. Fig. 1 is an axial section through the axis of the balance, and FIG. 2 is a corresponding bottom plan view.
In the drawing, 1 designates the board of the rooster, on which is screwed by screws 2 the cockerel 3, on the periphery of which the racket 4 is fitted with greasy friction. The hairspring, shown partially, is designated by 5.
In the tail 4 'of the racket is pivoted by a pin 7 the key 6 which has a nose 6' arranged in a plane approximately perpendicular to the axis of the balance and rather slightly inclined downwards.
The pin 8 is, as usual, riveted in the tail 4 'of the racket and inserted between the outer coil 5' of the hairspring - and the immediately subsequent coil 5 ".
It is bent towards the axis of the balance, so that its free end is situated in a plane slightly inclined downwards on the plane perpendicular to the axis of the balance and thus forms an arm. 8 'which extends under the outermost turns of the hairspring. To facilitate <RTI
ID = "0002.0001"> assembly, it is obvious that the pin is bent after its installation between the coils 5 'and 5 ". A very slight rotation of the: key 6 is enough to bring the nose 6' against the elbow of pin 8, thus trapping the outer coil 5 '.
The other outer turns, the most subject to the strong oscillations which may result from an impact, are prevented by the arm 8 'laughing the ankle pin dear to each other and from catching either to the pin. , or to. the key, either between it :.
