Pièce à musique. L'objet :de la présente invention, est une pièce à musique comprenant un .cylindre mît par un ressort par l'entremise de mobiles de transmission reliés à un régulateur, caracté- risée en ce que le ressort moteur,
le régula teur et une partie au moins .des mobiles -de transmission sont enfermés dans un même carter leur servant -de support en même temps que d'organe -de protection.
Le régulateur peut être :du type à ailettes ou centrifuge; dans ce dernier cas, le carter commun peut comporter un logement cylin drique dont la paroi coopère avec ledit r6gu- lateur pour freiner ce dernier.
Le dessin annexé montre, à titre d'exem- ple, une forme d'exécution de la pièce à musi que faisant l'objet de l'invention, forme d'exé cution comportanrt un régulateur centrifuge.
La fig. 1 est une vue en plan avec parties coupe; la fig. 2 est une vue .de -dessus; la fig. 3 est une vue .de côté du carter depuis la ligne III-HI @de da fig. 1 et la fig. 4 une coupe dht carter suivant la ligne IV-IV,d.e la fig. 1.
Dans le dessin, <B>1:</B> désigne le -cylindre à chevilles qui est entramé en rotation, par l'in termédiaire d'un engrenage 2, par le barillet 3 sous l'action -du ressort moteur 4. 5 désigne le clavier et 6 la platine qui ,supporte tout le mécanisme.
Le cylindre 1 est, d'autre part, relié à un régulateur centrifuge 7 par un train d'engrenages -droit 8, 8', 9, 9' et 10 mon tés sur des axes 11, 12, 18 parallèles à l'axe du cylindre 1. L'axe 11 est l'axe du régula teur centrifuge 7.
Le ressort moteur 4, le régulateur 7 et les mobiles 8, 8', 9, 9' et 10 de transmission ,sont protégés contre toute atteinte,de l'exté rieur par un carter -commun. 14 venu d'une seule pièce -de fonte injectée .sauf sa paroi intérieure. 15 qui est fixée au reste,
du carter par des vis. Le carter 14 sert non seulement d'organe de protection des pièces susmention nées mais également de support.
En effet, les axes 11, 12 et 13 sont pivotés, d'une part, dans la paroi rapportée 15 et, d'autre part, dans les parois longitudinales 14' et 14' du carter qui comporte, en outre, deux logements, l'un pour le ressort moteur 4,
l'autre pour le régulateur. La paroi 16 du logement cylin drique -du régulateur est venue .d'une pièce avec le carter 14 et est destinée à coopérer avec les .masses tournantes,du régulateur cen trifuge pour obtenir le couple -de freinage dé siré. Cette paroi 16 pourrait aussi être rappor tée et figée au carter, par exemple par sou dage.
La paroi 174-u logement, également cylin drique, du ressort moteur 4 est interrompue sur un petit arc de sa .circonférence et présente une arête 18 limitant cette ouverture et des tinée à l'accrochage de l'extrémité extérieure repliée du ressort 4.
Le carter 14 sert aussi à supporter le levier d'arrêt 19 (fig. 2) qui est pivoté en 20 sur la face supérieure du carter et possède deux bràs 21 et 22 destinés à agir l'un sur le cylindre 1 et l'autre sur le régulateur oeutri- fuge 7 au travers d'une ouverture 23.

The regulator can be: of the finned or centrifugal type; in the latter case, the common casing may include a cylindrical housing the wall of which cooperates with said regulator to brake the latter.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the music piece which is the object of the invention, the embodiment comprising a centrifugal regulator.

In the drawing, <B> 1: </B> designates the -cylinder with pins which is rotated, by means of a gear 2, by the barrel 3 under the action of -the mainspring 4. 5 designates the keyboard and 6 the plate which supports the entire mechanism.
The cylinder 1 is, on the other hand, connected to a centrifugal regulator 7 by a gear train -right 8, 8 ', 9, 9' and 10 mounted on axes 11, 12, 18 parallel to the axis of cylinder 1. Axis 11 is the axis of centrifugal regulator 7.
The mainspring 4, the regulator 7 and the transmission wheels 8, 8 ', 9, 9' and 10 are protected against any attack from the outside by a common housing. 14 come in a single piece -of injected cast iron. Except its inner wall. 15 which is attached to the rest,
of the housing with screws. The casing 14 serves not only as a protective member for the aforementioned parts but also as a support.
Indeed, the pins 11, 12 and 13 are pivoted, on the one hand, in the attached wall 15 and, on the other hand, in the longitudinal walls 14 'and 14' of the casing which further comprises two housings, one for the mainspring 4,
the other for the regulator. The wall 16 of the cylin drique housing of the regulator is formed in one piece with the housing 14 and is intended to cooperate with the rotating masses of the trifuge cen regulator to obtain the desired braking torque. This wall 16 could also be repor tée and fixed to the housing, for example by welding.
The housing wall 174-u, also cylindrical, of the mainspring 4 is interrupted on a small arc of its circumference and has a ridge 18 limiting this opening and of the hooking of the folded outer end of the spring 4.
The casing 14 is also used to support the stop lever 19 (fig. 2) which is pivoted at 20 on the upper face of the casing and has two arms 21 and 22 intended to act one on the cylinder 1 and the other. on the oeutri- fuge regulator 7 through an opening 23.
