Timepiece with automatic winding by oscillating mass The present invention relates to a timepiece with automatic winding by oscillating mass.
This timepiece is characterized in that a bridge of the piece carries a lock serving as an axial stop for an element integral with the hub of the mass, the lock being able to move in a plane perpendicular to the pivot axis of the mass oscillating between two limit positions, in one of which it is located above the element to retain the mass and in the other remote to release it.
The appended drawing represents three embodiments of the object of the invention, given by way of example.
The fi-. 1 is a plan view relating to the first embodiment, of which FIG. 2 is a detail section through 11-1I, and FIG. 3, an overall section through III-III.
Fig. 4 is similar to FIG. 1, but with unlocked lock.
Fig. 5 is a section relating to the second embodiment.
Fig. 6 is a plan view relating to the third embodiment, of which FIG. 7 is a section through VII-VII of FIG. 6. In the first embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 4, the oscillating weight 1 rotates around the pivot 2, fixed to the upper bridge of the automatic winder 3. In fig. 1, only the hub 4 of the mass is shown cut, as well as the barrel 5 of the winding pinion 6, driven directly into said hub. Between the teeth. of the winding wheel 6 and the hub 4 is embedded a washer 7, of diameter such that its periphery exceeds the outer cylindrical surface of the hub 4 located immediately above.
This washer thus constitutes an element projecting from the hub immediately below this surface and above the winding pinion and abutting against a bolt 8, pivoted at 9 on a pivot driven into the mass bridge 3 and the base plate. 10 of mass pivot 2. Pivot 9 serves to center pivot 2 in cooperation with an opposing centering pin 11.
In fig. 1 and 3, the latch 8 occupies the locking position of the mass, which it maintains in place because it is located above the projecting washer 7, opposite the cylindrical surface above the washer. By moving the lock 8 in the direction of the arrow 12, it is moved far enough away from the axis of the pivot 2 so that it no longer opposes the passage of said washer. The mass can then be removed from its pivot (fig. 4).

The two outer positions of the lock are ensured by a pin 13 of the latter engaged in these notches or notches 14 of the mass bridge. The passage from one notch to another is made possible by the elastic deformation of the arm 15 of the lock.
In the second embodiment, according to the section of FIG. 5, the mass is at 16 and its hub is formed by the barrel 17 of the winding pinion 18. The whole turns on the pivot 19. The base plate 20 of this pivot is screwed onto the gear bridge 21, au- above which we see the upper bridge of the automatic winder 22. Under the latter is pivoted a lock 23, rotating around the screw 24.
It serves as a stopper for an element projecting from the hub 17, immediately below the latter and above the winding pinion 18 and constituted by a shoulder 25 of the latter. The lock 23, located opposite the hub 17 thus maintains the oscillating weight in place by limiting its height. By rotating it around screw 24, it is possible to move it away from the position drawn so as to give free passage to the winding pinion 18.
The extreme positions of the lock 23 can, as in the first example, be fixed by notches.
In the third embodiment, according to FIGS. 6 and 7, the oscillating mass is located at 26, its hub at 27, its pivot at 28 and the winding pinion at 29. This is connected to the hub as in the example of FIG. 1, by a barrel driven into the latter by interposing a projecting washer 30. This washer is retained by the bolt 31, sliding radially in a milling of the upper bridge of the automatic winder 32 and facing the hub 27 surmounting the washer and having a smaller diameter than the latter.
A drilled pin 33 enables the lock to be actuated from above, sliding it in the direction of arrow 34 to unlock the mass and in the opposite direction to lock it. In doing so, another pin 35 of the lock hooks into the notches 36 of an elastic jumper 37 integral with the base plate 38 of the pivot 28. It goes without saying that this jumper 37 and this base plate 38 could be independent. , that is to say have their own means of fixing and centering. These notches fix the two extreme positions of the latch 31, that is, that where it retains the hub of the mass by means of the washer 30 and that where, on the contrary, it allows the removal of the mass.
It is obvious that the lock can just as well be fixed on the upper bridge 32 as under the latter, on the lower bridge of the automatic winding machine, on a gear train bridge, or even on the barrel bridge, for example.
