Description
Wasserturbinenschaufel.
Water turbine blade. The subject of the main patent is a water turbine blade, in particular a Pelton blade, in which those parts of the blade that are subject to the greatest wear from the water hitting them are made of a more resistant material than the rest of the blade and are connected to the latter by welding.
In the case of Pelton shovels, the middle cutting edge at which the two buckets meet, and the area around the jet section, are made of special steel which is inserted into the rest of the blade material and electrically welded to it.
In the practical implementation it has been found that cracks and deformations occur during normal welding. The purpose of the present invention is to avoid these parts after.
According to the invention, the blade is designed as a Pelton turbine blade, in which the central cutting edge consists of a rod made of more resistant material than the rest of the blade is made. This rod is connected to the rest of the blade body by welding seams on both sides. The inner part of each weld seam consists of the forgeable weld metal and the outer, overlying part consists of hard weld metal. To avoid tension, the weld metal is gradually applied in layers and alternately on one and the other welding point.
An embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown on the accompanying drawing voltage, in which Fig. 1 is an approximately tangential to the blade section laid through a Pelton turbine blade.
FIGS. 2 and 3 show two execution details of the blade according to FIG. 1.
The Pelton bucket 1 has a cutting edge 2 in which the two cups 3 and 4 collide. The cutting edge consists of a rod 6 which is made of a more resistant material than the rest of the blade is made. The rod 6 can for example consist of a special steel and is connected to the rest of the blade by welds on both sides. Each weld seam is composed of an inner part 10 made of forgeable weld metal and an outer, overlying part 11 made of hard weld metal. To avoid tension, the weld metal is gradually applied in layers and alternately to one and the other weld point.
The special electrodes available on the market can be used as forgeable and hard weld metal.
In Fig. 3 a slightly modified form of the rod 6 'and the weld seams compared to Fig. 2 is shown.
