Winding device for tape-shaped carriers. There are already Aufwickelvorriehtungen for tape-shaped carriers, such. B. films, known, which have a rotatable body with an inner winding surface and a rotating member, from the outer surface of which a drive movement is transmitted to the inner winding surface, and in which the wound part of the carrier between the inner winding surface and the outer surface of the rotating member is led.
In these known winding devices, the body with the inner winding surface consists of a can mounted in two pins. Through an opening in the wall of the can, the tape to be wound, as well as a drive cord or the drive shaft for the rotating drive member is guided inwards. The drive member for winding is located inside the can and is BEZW from the wall of the can. supports the carrier turns.
In these known winding devices, the wound tape must either be removed from the winding body or unwound from the inside.
The invention eliminates this disadvantage in that an opening of the body opens into the winding surface through which the carrier can be guided to the outside.
In a preferred embodiment, the tape wound against the inner winding surface of the body can follow. Blocking off the inside of the body, by which blocking an automatic unwinding of the tape reel from the inside is avoided, can be used as a carrier for light-electrical playback devices.
The beginning of the tape is passed through an opening in the body from the winding surface to the outside, so that the body, which is also used as a storage box, can be placed over a mandrel after removal of the inner closing element and can be used as the housing of a supply reel the tape is passed through the above-mentioned opening of the body in the playback device. Separate rewinding of the tape is therefore unnecessary.
The object of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawings in some Ausfüh approximately examples.
Figures 1 and 2 show a rotatable body with an inner winding surface without side walls; 3 and 4 show a winding device in which the film is wound up in a hollow body, and FIGS. 5 and 6 illustrate a similar hollow body with an inserted core, which forms a supply reel; Fig. 7 shows a supply reel in a closed housing.
In Fig. 1 and 2, 10 is the film which is passed from outside the rotatable body 12 to and between the drive mechanism driven roller 11 and the inner winding surface 14 of the annular body 12 is guided. The driving outer surface 13 of the roller 11 rotates at a speed corresponding to the film speed, so that a slip clutch in the driving shaft 34 is unnecessary.
When rotating the roller 11, the film is initially, if only its end is present inside the body 12, BEZW by the pressure of the body 12 on the smooth driving part of the surface. Outer surface 13 of the roller 11 is pressed and wound on the inner winding surface 1.4 of the body 12. The ring 12 rolls over the surface 13 with the direction of rotation of the roller 11, so that the first turn of the film reel 15 is gradually placed against the winding surface 14 and the following turns are placed against the previous turns.
In this way, the turns of the coil 15 are fed to the inside of the coil and placed against the inner surface of the preceding turns without any displacement between the turns occurring. The beginning of the film is guided to the outside through the gap 16 in the winding body 12 and is fastened there, that is to say on the outside of the body, by the clamping bracket 17. When the spool 15 has to be unwound again, the beginning of the film is on the outside of the spool, so that it is immediately ready for unwinding again without rewinding.
The required frictional pressure between the film and the driving upper surface 13 is obtained in this embodiment in that the ring 12 with the already wound film windings is loosely suspended on the roller 11 so that it is pressed against the driving surface 13 by gravity . The shaft 34 is supported in the housing 18. The roller 11 is provided with two flanges 19 for correct guidance of the film tape. The Rei environmental pressure can be increased with very light rings 12 if necessary by resilient pressure rollers acting on the ring 12 who the.
The winding device shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 is essentially the same as that of FIGS. 1 and 2. Coincident parts' are indicated with the same reference numerals. One difference, however, is that according to this embodiment, the body 12 is provided with an inner winding surface 14 with two flanges 20, so that the film spool 1.5 is wound up in a hollow body.
This type of construction is suitable for very narrow film tapes of a width of 5 mm and less, which cannot form a film reel that is easy to handle without support means. The driving roller 11 is formed here as a flangeless roller that can protrude into the interior of the hollow body 12. It is provided with a rubber cover 21 to increase the friction with the film tape.
5 and 6, a similar winder, as shown in Fig. 3 and 4 partially shown, the body 12 can also be used as a storage box and housing from the winding reel. The hollow body 12 with the film spool 15 is closed on the inside by an inserted mandrel 23, so that an undesired escape of the film from the inner open side is avoided.
If this storage box is to be used as a housing for the reel spool in a device, the inside of the film spool 15 must be centered on a core so that it can be unwound from the outside. For this purpose, the spool 15 must be freely rotatable in the housing 12 and the film 7.0 must be able to run out freely through the gap 16. To use one and the same core with film spools of different film lengths and therefore different inside diameters, this core is expandable. For this purpose, there is a plurality of curved lever arms 24, the outer ends 25 of which lie against the inside of the coil 15.
For the purpose of adjusting these arms they are arranged around the pin 26, which are arranged on a common ring, rotatable. At their end facing the center point of the core, they are provided with a fork-shaped end 28 which engages around the pin 29 set up on the central disk 30. If now the central disc 30 rotates ge with respect to the ring 27, the pins 29 are moved tangentially with respect to the pin 26, and the lever ends 25 are moved inward or outward. With the adjusting screws 31, the ring 27 can be pressed firmly against the disk 30 so that the lever arms can be held firmly in the position centering the coil 15.
The disc 30 is fastened by means of screws 32 on the mandrel 23 BE.
To unwind the film, the Ge housing 12, after the spool 15 is stretched onto the core, placed in a horizontal plane, the mandrel 23 with the shaft 33 is rotatably mounted in a suitable pad. The end of the film 10, which is already guided outwards through the gap 16 at the beginning of winding, is brought into engagement with the transport elements of the film device (not shown) and from these, the spool 15 is supported on the mandrel 23 and freely movable in the housing 12 settled.
The unwinding takes place from the outside to the inside in the usual way, with each coil winding maintaining the original diameter, so that the windings do not slide against one another and the film is not scratched.
In FIG. 7, a storage box is shown which is particularly suitable for handling the wound film tapes. For example, according to one of the preceding exemplary embodiments, the film tape is wound up against the inner cylindrical surface of the hollow body 12, the end 10 being guided to the outside through the opening 16 and being held in place by the clamping bracket 17.
To close the inner annular opening slit, the snap ring 34 is provided, which presses itself against the opening by its own spring force and closes it. Falling out of the inner film windings is impossible. The snap ring 34 or the hollow body 12 can also be provided with a suitable Festhaltevor direction for the inner end of the film spool, for example with a spring or a slot.
If this storage box is to be used as the housing of the supply reel in a light sound device, the snap ring 34 is removed and replaced by the expandable core shown in FIG. The beginning of the film 10 is released from the bracket 17 and passed into the device. When winding from the film is pulled out through the opening 16 and the film spool unwinds centered on the core. A separate rewinding of the carrier is therefore superfluous.
Such a winder with its storage box according to FIG. 7 is suitable for the reproduction of speech and music in front of the light sound devices. Replacement of the usual records. The dimensions of the storage box can be approximately the same as two records for a film tape of about 31/2 mm; their playing time is 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the film tape, so that with the corresponding film it is superior to conventional records not only in quality but also in the duration of the recording.
